I usually spend a couple of days researching airfare on the internet, using Travelocity and all the individual airline websites, before I finally make a decision. I've called Member Services on a few occasions - once they came up with the exact same price I had already found; once they surprised me with the same price but a better flight time; and still once they saved my disney-planning-butt (I waited too long before booking a flight for 7 members of my family and couldn't find anything. Not only did they find available flights but the time was right and the price was only a little bit more than I usually pay). I highly recommend them - they've always been very nice and extremely patient with my indecisiveness. :)

Do they do this for flights to anywhere? I guess I've never known this. I've been trying to arrange a flight to Columbus and want a better fare than I'm getting now on Travelocity - or no trip...

Thanks

Here are a couple good sites that I have used in the past.

www.expedia.com and www.orbitz.com

Very competitive rates.

I think MS does airline thru Disney travel and they can only reserve Orlando flights. :(

I reccommend orbitz.com. They list ALL flights and prices. I just got tickets to Orlando from Minneapolis for $126 round trip for January!:bounce:

Lora, MS can only arrange flights as part of your DVC trip. They can't even do flights if you are coming on cash to WDW.

I have found them to be terrific at getting what I need at the best price.

Your question has me thinking about another. Does MS arrange flights, if necessary, for other trips using DVC points? For instance, if someone from California were coming to The Plaza on points, would they arrange travel? Anybody have any experience with this?

Actually, nobody lists all airlines. Some airlines, such as Southwest, refuse to allow anyone to list them. You or your travel agent must contact them directly by phone or online. I believe Orbitz wanted to list SWA without their consent, and SWA threatened to sue them.

We fly SWA or PanAm, and neither is listed on any services, but Southwest is consistently the least expensive airline in this market. (Nonetheless, we usually fly PanAm for the convenience and legroom :) )
