Hey, sweetie! How was the first day of school? Your schedule looks very impressive! DD has some tough classes this year, including Physics (which I never "got"). Wishing you a fabulous year!

Hey everybody...school takes a LOT out of you...I just wanted to come home, flop on the couch, take a nap and stuff my face! They keep us in school until 3:01 now!!

1st period: The teacher is super funny-more kidlike than most teachers. He rarely gives out homework, can make all of us laugh and rarely gives tests and quizzes. All homework gets turned in Fridays. A nice guy-doesn't freak me out about Disney...

2nd period: The teacher is super friendly and the most like me that there possibly can be. She gives out birthday treats!!

3rd: Spanish!!! The guy teaching is really really crazy and really really funny! He can get annoying some times.

4th: Language Arts. Fun; we played a get to know you game...and then talked because her computer can't print and she's a fresh-from-college student. She first taught in FL.

AA: Got our handbooks...filled out cards...and talked. BOring!!! I have one friend in there and a bunch of other people whose names I know but people I don't.

5th: Algebra. This is one of the classes that freaks me out. I don't want to be left behind when I go to Disney because the subject changes often. He's nice though...there's something in me that makes me think he's a weirdo...

6th: Typing class. I actually didn't do anything today because the teacher wasn't there and I'm an "independent" (there with the Yearbook class) so I got to mess around with Adobe Photoshop...I didn't actually get anything done. Another class that worries me...I have to look at my fingers to type!! Which is a no-no apparently.

7th: The longest, hardest and "funnest" class in the bunch. Personal Development is Teen Issues. This class worries me too because A) I really am not a "share my issues aloud" kind of person and B) Disney stuff...I don't think she's really big on the idea of missing school for Disney.

8th: band. All we did today was march and screw up formations and get the band director (plus every one of us) frustrated.

B: eggy with ham (2), 1 slice toast (2), 8 ounces OJ (2)
L: Surprise! I packed! I had 3 apple slices, a cheese stick (2...reduced fat cheddar cheese), and 2 carrot sticks. I really wasn't all that hungry because it was REALLY hot. All in all, maybe 4 points.
S: Apple!!! )(1)
D: BLT's are on the menu!

Water: 16 ounce bottle

Exercise: 40 minutes stompin' on the field because it was hot! and we were forgetting things (like moving).

Today is definitely a rest day for me.

Hi Stephanie!!! There is a quick easy and foolproof method to making a Sandwich Rollyup. (Thanks for the kind and positive sayings!!)

First take a tortilla (plain if you want something sweet, flavored or plain for something savory). Then you spread "stuff" on it, like mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, PB, cream cheese, pudding or go adventurous and be "naked"! After you choose to spread (or not to spread), you add what meats, cheeses and veggies (in the case of the savories) or your jellies, fruits and spices that you like. Then you roll it up, and slice it with either a sharp knife or a piece of dental floss...or you can eat it as a Rollyup. Rollyups are less messy.

Eeyore25-It really isn't that bad...but more draining than one might think. Thanks!!

Cam-It started off okay, but the middle of the day seemed like the clock stopped and time went on forever. Thanks!

It's been a truly awful day today.

My mom is going to be in Las Vegas for my birthday leaving tomorrow afternoon until Monday (she's breaking the first rule of birthdays!!! I want my mommy to be at my house on my birthday instead of some fancy hotel!), Ape was REALLY getting on my case today and just making me frustrated, I managed to step in dog poo on the marching band field, I lost my favorite pen, and managed to fall down a couple stairs. I want school to be OVER with!! I'm so tired of it...It's just been an AWFUL day. Pass the berry lemon cheesecake over here.

B: egg with ham (2), apple (1)
L: Packed again. 2 slices HC turkey (.5), 1/2 Extra Long "Twirld" Cheese Stick (1), 6 crackers (2), 1 apple (1)
S: 2 slices left over pizza and an apple, and three peach slices (5)
D: ???

Exercise: Marching and lunging to get the dog poo off my shoe! I'd say 30 minutes.

Water: none yet

Tomorrow I have to get up at 5:00 tomorrow, to leave at 6:45 so I can make it to early morning practices where Ape is going to yell and have an absolute spaz attack over us because "we aren't performing, we're missing our cues, we don't know where to go". I'm really sorry for my negative attitude you guys, but I feel alone and I need a couple of big hugs please.

School is school. I mean, going as well as school could possibly go, not too much homework yet.

Oh, Jen, it sounds like your day was perfectly awful! I'm sorry, kiddo! I think you need a big :grouphug: and then you need to put on some of your favorite music or a Disney video and just relax. DO NOT anaesthetize with food! :teeth:

Tomorrow will be better!

Hugs!

Thank you Cam!! Believe it or not, I threw out all the marshmallows, junky food and am really not hungry at this moment. I've been busy with homework and on the phone. The hug makes me feel wonderful.

And I do have a spot of good news too: Jess is coming home this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I figured I'd report on what I was going to have for dinner:

2 pieces lasagna and some salad...I guess 6 for the whole business, but I'm not really sure.

Off to relax, including but not limited to the Disney planning video, a bubble bath, listening to some Superchick and/or sugar scrub!!!

The day is getting better! :thewave: :rockband: Jess is comin' HOME! Jess is comin' HOME! :rockband: :thewave:

Hey, Jen! Glad your day got better! Who is Jess?

I owe you a big one, kiddo! I bough those 100 calorie packs of sandies because you always "YUM" them in your posts, and OMG!!!! They are delicious! I may have a new snack addiction! I ate a pack last night and brought one to work for a friend, so I am down to 4 packs and already worried about whether the store will still have them when I go back :teeth: Sick, I know!

I know what you mean about having a loved one coming home and that making everything better. Andy (DS12) has been away at a performing arts camp since 8/7 and we are driving up there tomorrow for a 2 day festival and will bring him home with us on Sunday. I have missed him so much, but have tried not to be sappy about it in my cards and letters to him. Can't wait to see his performances, too. He has a lead role in a play with some singing and he is the lead singer in a rock band and is doing a balancing act in the circus performance. It will be so much fun!

Well, hope your school day went better today, sweetie! I am off to a Jimmy Buffett concert tonight, so I probably won't get to check in until Sunday night. Be sure to keep everyone in line ;) on the 100 day challenge thread. And if you see any of our missing challengers, be sure to round them up and herd them in! :rotfl:

Keep up the great work!

January-It was appreciated!

Cam-Jess is one of my best friends. She had to move away to TN because of a bitter divorce and is coming home for a few days! Congrats on Andy's role in the play! You must be so proud. Will do!

Aww...thanks Twinks!!! :hug:

Calena-Thank you!

Today was so much better! In so many ways!

B: egg (2, with ham), apple (1)
L: crackers 6, turkey slices 2, apple 1 (4)
S: peach and cold lasagna noodles (4)

Water: not much!

Exercise: 2 hours marching!!!

I have some good news. I'm having an informal bday bash and I'm actually having a guy come!!! He's a good friend of a friend...he's kinda cute...and it scares me.

Mom gave me a present before she left: a WDW Insider Pop up book and a set of Disney Princess pencils. Needless to say I was thrilled!

I just caught up on all of your action! I hope that school continues to go well. Sounds like you have a nice full schedule. Have you tried the school lunch yet like you mentioned? Not sure if I missed that horror story! hehe!
Just remember, when you are bored in class that WDW is just a few short weeks away, you'll be there in no time!!

Have a happy & healthy night!

Hey guys! Good morning!

Marching band was AWESOME!!!!!!!! The other team (Holgate) played Hot, Hot, Hot, a James Bond Medley, and Hang on Sloopy (Ohio's Rock Song). We played We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody and Rock and Roll All Night. Blew them out of the water. Not to mention we won the game! 47-8!!!

B: 2 slices PB toast (4)
L: I tried the school lunch...greasy pizza (6). Never ever again. Made my tummy feel sick.
S: 1 slice pizza (2)
D: 1/4 of a chicken, 2 tablespoons of baked beans (4)
S: 1 slice pizza (2), glass of Sprite (3)

I marched-slash-stood for 4 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!! In a HOT WOOL UNIFORM! Gack!

Water: 3 bottles.

Exercise: 4 hours!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~*
Jess came to the pep rally AND the football game. It was so great to see her...we really missed her oodles. It's sad she's leaving tomorrow...:sad1:.

Thanks Jane!!! That's appreciated!

Mike-I tried the lunch on Friday...it was either sloppy joe or a so called Domino's Pizza slice (dirty rotten liars!) I chose the pizza slice and it was tough, greasy-so greasy my tummy felt sick! Blech and never again. (Shh, but I am planning ADR during class in breaks in the action and in the halls!)

Thanks, Stephanie and Eeyore25!!! (Have a great trip!!!)

Okay-at WI in this morning, I gained two pounds! And I think I even know why: my eating has not been very good this week. Lots of sodium in those snacks, eating late, little exercise and little water have all contributed. I choose to continue fighting this good fight! Why? Because some of my friends noticed I lost a lot of weight last night because my uniform coat was WAY too big! And my pants were a little bigger in the waist then they were at band camp! YES!!!!!!!!!!!

B: 1 apple (1...not very hungry!)
L: 1 cup spaghetti sauce and sausage (6)
S: 1 cup spaghetti sauce and sausage (6)

See what I mean about lots of sodium and not the best choices?

TigerCheer2009
08-27-2005, 05:27 PM
Dinner: With all of 7 points left: 2 baked potatoes (2), a tomato, a pear (1), a sandwich (2 slices of bread=2, 3 slices of low fat and low cal lunch meat=.5)

12 minutes exercise.

TigerCheer2009
08-28-2005, 05:11 PM
Hey all!!! It's my birthday!!! And I'm so EXCITED!

B: 3 pancakes and syrup (6)
L: At Olive Garden...I tried to eat a regular meal-yeah...that was not a good experience. It made me sick so I'm going to save you the gory details. Spinach Artichoke Dip on celery, a couple breadsticks, a Cherry Cream Soda (nasty!), Sausage and Pepper Pasta (blech) and Berries with Cream Sauce. \

Water: 2 bottles

(I seriously think it was the sausage that set me off. It tasted very odd.)

D: ??

Exercise: 8 minutes of Dance Dance Revolution!

The haul: Rachael Ray's Cooking Rocks!, a set of Disney picture frames, my 05 Unofficial Guide, Chicago soundtrack, DODGEBALL the DVD, Shark Tale the DVD, Ms. Congeniality 2 DVD, Dance Dance Revolution (all those minutes of Random Dancing paid off) and some catnip bubbles that my cats are afraid of.

I'm going to Dance some more...see you all later.

Mucho grande love to all! (I was to go on a shopping spree, but I don't need it as it was for the BIG mall and I just didn't need it and there wasn't enough time!)

Hey, sweetie! Hope you had a great birthday. Sorry your OG lunch wasn't fantabulous! Amazing how we spoil our bodies with good, healthy food, and then our body doesnt' want any of that heavy, fatty stuff!

Congrats on your band jacket being big on you. You should definitely ask to be fitted for a smaller size, so you can show off your new svelte self! You worked hard for it, kiddo! Be sure to flaunt it! :teeth:

It was a totally awesome birthday, cam!!!!! Thanks!

D: turkey, cream cheese mashed potatoes and tomatoes.

Today: back on track!!

B: the last of the mashed potatoes (3), a pear (1)
L: forgot to pack my lunch!!! Hot dog, potato wedges (9)
D: ?? Something healthy and water.

Exercise last night: 15 minutes of DDR...which I just might repeat!

I started typing class today and have lots of homework. Back on at 7 my time.

Thanks Mike and Kate!!!

It's been REALLY tough. I'm not afraid to admit it...it has been. I mean-teachers are doubling-tripling up on homework, research projects left, right and center, band practice 4 x a week, plus tomorrow morning! And for our next game against Danbury, it's a floppin' 2 hour ride each way!! I am definitely bringing snacks and water. Which means less time to do other stuff. We have also started learning our new show: 25 or 6 to 4, Carry On Wayward Son and Sweet Home Alabama. Is it summer yet?!?!?

My eats:

M:
Dinner: Jen's Pasta Bowls x2: pasta, tuna, tomatoes and cheese (6)
Tuesday:
b: 2 slices PB toast (4)
l: Slice of turkey, cheese stick, 1 apple* (3) *I really don't eat that much at lunch-not enough time!
d: 1.5 pork chops (2), 3 roasted potatoes (3)
s: 100 cal pack sandies and a glass of Lemonade Crystal Light (2)

Today!
b: egg with ham, 2 slices toast (5)
l: Buy day! Chicken nuggets (6...3 points) cheddar garlic mashed potatoes (3), a roll (2)

Exercise for Monday and Tuesday: 30 collective minutes DDR and dancing in the rain. Very fun!

24 ounces water today.

Off to start my Personal Development paper!

TigerCheer2009

Hey guys!!

B: egg and two slices toast (4.5)
L: best laid plans...was ham and veggies but the veggies got ucky...so I had ham and 1/2 taco salad. 3.
D at a football game: ugggh! 2 hot dogs, 2 sloppy joes, and some chips. (12) Better luck tomorrow? Yes!

Lotsa marching...gotta pack for the bus ride tomorrow!

Hi, Jen!
Don't you love being able to kill two birds with one stone? Exercising and marching in the band all at once!! That is great! I hope you have a great weekend! I know it is really, really late....but I hope you had a Happy Birthday! :goodvibes

TigerCheer2009
09-03-2005, 07:51 AM
Thanks friends!!! We won, 58 to nothing. Thursday was a junior high game and I was recruited to take pictures.

Marching=3 hours~! Lots of fun. Water=80 ounces.

I don't know why I feel this way, but I'm REALLY really really mad and disappointed at myself this week. I've just been really horrible to myself. I know I shouldn't be but I'm embarassed to drag myself back here. My eating has went in the the toilet, I can't talk to you all very much and it's really going to lessen as cheerleading starts off... And to top it all off I gained 4 pounds this week! FOUR FLIPPIN' POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm actually crying over this...I can't believe it. I really really can't. The only exercise I'm getting is marching due to lack of time. I've started noticing this little things I do that are not very good...like having a hardly uncontrollable urge to get mad (though that's TOM coming, I guess?). Stressed?! Heck yes! And there's nothing I can even do about it! Or so it feels. I know what I need to do, but I'm stuck in this negative phase right now and I'm trying to kick it. Again, I'm really sorry I haven't been here you guys, but I have football games, marching practices, zillions of homework... I just feel like I've taken a wrong turn, kept going and am really really lost.

My rededication:
My name is Jen. I'm here because I want to get in shape for cheerleading and I'm really dedicated. I've been ejected from the wagon, rolled down a hill and fallen into the middle of an alligator infested swimming hole. It's going to be really hard to get online, because of school starting, but I will try my hardest. I'm here because I want to change my ways because if I keep going this way, I know I won't like it and I don't want to be at the 200 pound bad place again...the place where nothing fits, I have no energy. My problem is just with eating...school lunches are expensive and unhealthy...and it seems like all the healthy options are hidden or unappealing. Exercising is a no brainer...I march and I love doing Dance Dance Revolution. But I want to become a better me...I guess you could say an even better me. I am still embarassed to be here surrounded by a bunch of losers...it's been really hard this week. Football games, birthdays, stress, homework-there are days when I've wanted to just do whatever the heck I wanted eating wise and not care...some meals were much worse than others, but at least I made somewhat okay choices. Then Friday struck...band bus rides surrounded by a bunch of cheerleaders and skinny people, pizza or hot dogs for concession stand dinner as I failed to eat at home, and everyone goes to McDonalds after the games.

But I won't give up...the cheerleader in me says not to! Yesterday I had to go potty at the game and my squad leader came in and went potty and I asked her to help me fix my uniform because I was wearing suspenders and I was telling her that my jacket and pants were too big. She then asked me why I got a uniform that was too big. I said "wellI'velostsomeweightbetweennowandbandcamp" in one big breath because it makes me nervous for people to know because then they watch me like a hawk and I don't like that. She's like "yeah, I kinda noticed!" I thought-whoa-! My friends have started notice a little bit, and my parents can really tell. (The crying has stopped now because I LOVE this story)

What I'm going to do:
*The week's goal is to eat healthier. Packing lunches is a must, no matter what the menu is. Which reminds me, I need to go grocery shopping.
*(Marching/dancing=3 hours yesterday, and we won 58-0!) Exercise a little bit each day. Do what you can...
*Not be so hard on myself because I love who I'm shaping up to be! I :love: me...I'm not being vain, or anything but I'm trying to be nicer to myself under stress! Everyone has bad days-I am not the exception!
*I am far better than when I first began! And I never ever want to go back there again. If I start sliding, somebody grab me! Please.

Now would somebody pretty please stop the wagon so I can get back on?

And hey-whoever said these last ten were hard to lose, was RIGHT!

Jen - the wagon is parked outside your door, we'd love for you to hop back on.

Maybe it was this week b/c I just hopped back on the wagon this morning too. A lot of what you were saying echoed my thoughts. We can do this!! We just need to refocus and do what we can by making good choices, even if it means just one good choice a day and moving on from there.

That's awesome that people are noticing your weightloss :) The mailroom guy said something to me last week and it felt really good that someone could tell - sometimes I don't notice so much b/c I see me everyday.

We're all here for you Jen and please don't feel embarrassed when you hit a bump in the road. It happens to us all.

I went shopping and found four pairs of jeans!! Size 18 and PROUD of it!

The pasta was eight. I went out to dinner and I really wasn't sure about the points...plus my mouth hurt. I'm cutting some molars or something, yeah-it hurts. I had a chicken quesadilla and about 12 chips and salsa...the spicy/sharp chip combo made me quit and thank goodness!

25 or 6 to 4, Carry On Wayward Son and Sweet Home Alabama.
Hey, awesome songs!! I actually played 25 or 6 to 4 in my HS pep band, back in the day, hehe. My son is starting middle school band this year, just starting to try and make coherent sounds on trumpet. I've been pulling out my old horn and practicing with him a little, fun stuff.

So, now Mike's coming to WDW in Dec. too, he just couldn't stay away!! Looks like you might miss him though, maybe you'll have to pass in the airport. One thing's for sure, we're all gonna be a lot thinner!! (Star Wars quote)

I really am trying to drink more water. If only somebody hadn't thrown my water bottle away! Grr!

I can't really get around to other peoples' journals, let alone my own! I am doing my best to stick it to that awful chubalub but there's a LOT going on right now! I'll aim for once a day!

I promise, I am doing my best!! Forget about the trying-I'm DOING it!!

90 days out, plus I got tagged today!

B: 2 cups cereal (4)
L: Creamed Chicken and a Biscuit (8)
S: Pear and PB (2) we ran out of yogurt!
D: So far it's been a Fruit and Walnut Salad (4)

Water; 18 ounces (I think)

Exercise: 9 minute on the treadmill!

Thanks, Mike!! Best of luck on the Biggest Loser challenge-I seem to have stalled!!

Today was absolutely busy and it's only gonna get worse. Student Council had me hopping today, football games, sectionals-I really got nothing done. Amazingly it was the best day I'd had in a while! I mean, I never felt more satisfied. Ever. Lots of quizzes and tests today!

Food was horrible today! Water was okay. very little exercise-unless you consider extra marching and stretching at the Junior High football game that/

B: 2 cups cereal (4)
L: 10 bites frozen mac n cheese (4), 1 apple (1)
S: Happy Mouth Central!!! 1 apple (1), 1 pack 100-cal cookies (2), 1 pack 100-cal fruit snacks (2)
D: 24 chips and salsa (6), 1/2 club sandwich (5) and tomato soup (2)

At least I was honest. Better luck tomorrow. With a football game. Ugh!

2 bottles water.

Plan for tomorrow:

B: Eggy Scramble (I'm thinkin' 4) for breakfast

L: Ham (2), cheesestick (1), apple (1), 6 crackers (2)

Snack: ??

D: ??

If I've got two, then the other two will hopefully fall accordingly.

Tomorrow's another busy day to look forward to! G'night!

Did I also mention I was made part of the Yearbook staff (even though I don't have it as a class but as an Independent Student!)? WHOA! *General Jen has her jammies on at this moment and is going to take a bit of a rest as teachers think it's funny to pile on quizzes and tests and Spanish thingamabobs on Fridays*

Hugs to you all!

Hello, Jen! Long time no See, Write.....whatever!

Sorry I've been AWOL! Life, you know.

Sounds like you are super busy, as I would expect of someone with your drive, ambition and talent.

Spanish Thingamabob???? I've heard Spanish called a lot, but never that! (I was a HS & College Spanish teacher in my former life)

DS16 needs my computer for school, so guess I'd best run.

Don't forget to take time to ENJOY your life! These really are good times, Spanish Thingamabobs and all!!

Hi!!!! It seems like somedays I am just trying to SURVIVE! But I am not! I am laughing a bunch and making things fun in little ways every day!

Jules-The Spanish thingamabobs are Spanish quizzes (pwerbas? praybas?) spelled PRUEBAS and I dislike them with the burning passion of a million suns! Thanks for stopping by!! It makes my heart happy to have visitors here!!

HI January!! Thanks and will do!

B: eggy scramble 4
L; 2 slices pizza (8) The lunch totally backfired. Why do they always make the most unhealthy foods look the best? :confused3
D: ??
S: 12 chips and salsa (3)

Water: 1 bottle so far but I am DEFINITELY gonna get more I will swear on a box of 100-cal snackies!

Exercise: 40 minutes Marching Dancing. It was really wet and you can't play a clarinet in the rain so we got to practice without and I danced EXTRA EXTRA hard and fell on my bum and I LOVED every minute of it except the raincoats!

I wore jeans to school for the first time ever. They were a little big because I found that out as we were boxing up canned food in Personal Development (loved it!!) and I about tripped going down the stairs because I stepped on a pants leg! They got ABSOLUTE rave reviews!

(and I liked them)

Must dash!! I have a football game to get ready for against our second biggest rivals, Carey. We are adding a secret to our dance and I will tell you how it goes!

Mucho grande hugs to you all!!!

We lost the football game. By a flippin' point! Everyone was getting mad at everybody. People were getting kicked off buses...and the equipment guy made me mad!! He called clarinets to come on the bus. I just sat down and gave the guy my instrument. I figured he was being nice (I didn't want to lose what little seat I had!!) so I said thank you. He comes back on the bus, five minutes later, asks me my Name and Squad Leader. Ape is there and says she'll take care of it.

Y'know, she can be evil some times but there are times when I want to hug her and give her a million Disney Dollars. No gig for me!! Of course, the guy Evil Equipment Guy reports to managed to forget his coat and overlay in the school and wore blue shoes last week.

D: KFC! !/2 a chicken piece, mashed spuds and gravy, mac n cheese, biscuit. I don't even WANNA know what the points are because it was late, I was hungry and I was smothering my emotions in food, which is a no-no. I realized it! Yay for me! 2 bottles water

On to brighter things-I have a babysitting job on Sunday and it's not even for the brat kids!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Thanks Mike!!!! The jeans were big enough in the waist that I had to wear my cheerleading briefs under them and used a piece of ribbon as a belt and I about made a flying leap down the stairs in them!

We were also packing up food and stuff for the Katrina victims and I felt on top of the world that I was helping people! Even though all I did was write down totals and count 45 cans of canned fruit (veggies and soup had more-wish were them! I love counting!), 8 can openers, 4 boxes pens, 2 12-packs chalk, one pack paper, three notebooks, 4 ropes, 1 set bungee cords, 1 tarp and 8 boxes of trash bags. Oh-and one piece of beef jerky that we forgot to give to the people doing meat!!

Hi guys. Jules-will do!!

Today was a good day, no-cheat wise but an ABSOLUTELY AWFUL day food-wise. I don't know what got into me. Scratch that-I know. It was a really nasty rainy gucky day today and I had to stay penned-up inside my house. Which makes me want to stuff my face. Which is kinda-something like what I did.

I got to kind of cheer at the JV game-it was so much fun!! Even though we lost, but we were playing the state champs. I was in an awesome mood!!

B: 2 slices toast (3)

Then I had a hot dog at the game-I'm guessing 6? I even drank a bottle of water and did not take one of the freebie dogs at the end of the day. The rain started then too.

L: Kind of a grazing day, really. 24 chips and salsa (6), 2 apples (2), and cheesey mashed potatoes (3).

My parents were setting up the new stove (which still isn't in yet!!) and we ordered pizza. Probably the biggest mistake of the day.

D: 6 breadsticks, and two slices of pizza. 12 points, and guessing high.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~*
I have GOT to have a plan for these kind of icky days. So I'm going to make one right here and right now.

1) Drink water.
2) Exercise. (Except I don't feel like movin'!)
3) Do homework.
4) Call up Sab (my bestest buddy) and talk! We did that for two hours today!
5) Make a craft.

The main point is anything that keeps my hands busy.

My plan for tomorrow because it is my other best friend's birthday party and I have to kidsit:

1) Drink water.
2) Make good choices, even if it takes everything I have
3) Do a little exercise. Even 5 minutes.

Eeyore25!! HI! Thanks! Again, go Clarinuts!!
`~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday-a group of three little kids "mauled" me at the birthday party!!! No joke! My friends, the birthday girl and I were rolling around on the trampoline and trying to avoid this HUGE spider. One of the little girls was sitting on my lap and my hair got all messed up! So I was redoing it and the bday girl went inside. The two girls were grabbing my hair and pulling it and yanking on it! The little boy was "kissing" me (touching his lips to everyone), licking me, pinching, punching. I was yelling "You guys! Get off me! Stop! Please! Stop! Friends, HELP! Please!". My friends didn't help me! They really couldn't though because the little boy was pinching them and punching them too. They didn't stop. I rolled towards the center and started yelling. At this point I didn't care! I was screaming "GET OFF ME RIGHT NOW! GET OUT OF HERE! GET OUT OF HERE!" Two started crying really badly and I felt bad but when you hurt me for no reason then nobody's having fun. Bday girl came out and diffused the situation but too little too late.

B: Cinnamon Pancakes (2), three bites sausage (2)
L: Pizza and apple (6)
S: Roast beef and baked potato (2)
D: Two slices PB toast and 6 points worth of chips (10)

160 ounces of water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!

Exercise: Dancing a little bit.

Today was a very good day. It just felt comfy.

B: Sausage (3), 2 slices toast (6)
L was moved up to 11 today (early dismissal!!) 1/2 a ham sandwich (2), apple (1)
S: Cinnamon Pancakes (2), sausage (3), apple (1).
D: ??

Water: none yet
Exercise: none yet

Tomorrow is picture day!! I am SO excited!!

Your doing great!!! :cool1: :cool1: Keep it up!

Keke clarinuts, we were never called that, but we had to agree that the clarinet retreat teachers were all kinda...Interesting, if you get my drift. In october we used to go for a 2-3 day band retreat, with different instructors for the different instruments to get better and learn more about our instruments.

1st year - Had a hippie, we played 1 scale (b flat) and all 6 of us took an hour!
2nd year - Mr. McCloud, refused to tell us his name, but i told him about the killer bunnies, and he agreed. But he was really good.

Hm, the more i think about it, i was a clarinut xD And so was my band teacher, i swear she picked up half the instructors from either a bar or off the street.

TigerCheer2009
09-25-2005, 09:22 AM
Hi friends!!!!

Thanks, Vanessa!!! And thanks, Rizel! I wish WE could go on a retreat-this was supposed to be the year for our Big Band Trip and WDW was one of the ones on there, but Monkey Man came. What...interesting...band directors!

Haven't been here in awhile, sorry about that.

Long story short on eating: not too good! The snacks I choose aren't the healthiest and if I eat a healthy meal (ie chicken caesar salad with oil and vinegar dressing) then I add on to it (like crackers...or a roll!) We also got a new toaster and bagels to go with it. UGH! Plus on Friday, my AA (Academic Advisor) teacher brought in lemon bars!!

Long story short on water: doing very well there! I don't think I beat my goal yesterday but got pretty darn close!! 5 bottles down at my house (striving for 10), 1 at dinner at Anthony Wayne (tell you about that in a minute), 5 "8 ounce glasses" at the Band Snacks table, and 1 bottle after the band sitting 2 over from us' performance.
************************************************** ********
The band festival was last night. OH. MY. GOSH! I loved every minute of it! But it took forever and a minute to find the place...and then we had to RUN to mass band, where we figured out we didn't have some songs (we played the Coca Cola song, Hey Look Me Over, Blues in the Night and God Bless the USA which I cried during), and A1 (squad leader APE!) started off in a REALLY bad mood. Anyway, we marched our cool selves down to the field and we mingled. I met some really nice people who like CHEERED for us when we started. It made my heart happy.

An-y-way! We did mass band practice and got really bored and our bells person dropped her bells and two people felt "weird" and had to sit out. Other than that, it was all good. Dinner was a hassle-a footlong turkey sub and chips. I know-I didn't even like the chips! But I ate them anyway...shoulda left them in their holder.

Then it was time to start! The local junior high went. Northwood made some really good friends (they were sitting on our left) and did cheers with us. They played Fun Fun Fun, I Can See Clearly Now, and Hunt for Red October. Then WE went and the cheering began. That was the best we'd ever played that show! I'm serious-and the crowd loved it! They ate it up with a SPOON, man! St. John's Jesuit went next with this seriously amazing show. (Our band got apples and cookies and water. I took two apples and 5 glasses of water and had to go potty really badly afterwards!) Their flags were pretty.

Next came Vermilion. They went to Disney and kicked off the MVMCP in 99 and 03. I was very jealous. They were nice, loud, had a good music selection and their flag people were AMAZIN'! After that came Bowling Green. They did a Rockin' thru the Decades thing that was cool, and played God Bless the USA because they did that with the host school on 9-11 and there was not a dry eye in the audience. Then came the UF Oilers. I wasn't impressed much. Then the host school-liked their marching style and music.

Mass band was next. BORING and the director made us start a song over. I just wanted to get out of there and go potty!

Then we went home. The end.
************************************************** ********
Today's breakfast (I'm startin' this calorie counting thing):
1 eggy (70) plus a slice of Canadian bacon (15) and a slice of dry wheat toast (40) plus water.

Hiya everybody! Today has been a really really super awesome good day! Monkey Man wasn't there today and the head band squad leaders and I are going to see the new HP movie at midnight if mom says okay! YEAH!

Eating has gotten back on track. A little shaky, but I'm on! I did really well today and am so proud of myself!!! :goodvibes

B: an eggy with ham (2 points, calorie counting is too much math for me), two slices white toast (3), 4 ounces OJ (1)=6!
L: Baked Potato! (1) I did it!!! I bought something healthy and it was soooooooo good :)
School Snack: We're doing this Roots and Wings thing in personal development and people keep bringing in food. The teacher is adamant we try everything. So I had a spoon of Snow Ice Cream, a "Dirty Diaper" (chipped beef with cream cheese and a pickle spear YUCKY!!) and Chipped Beef Dip on a cracker. I tried everything. (4 points)
Home snack: 2 cups cereal and 2 slices toast (7)

18 points and not too hungry. 1 bottle water, some marching and scads of homework!

Thanks, Jamie!!!

Hi, Mike and thanks!!

Jules-Hi!!! Missed ya! The new HP is coming out in November!!! (or noviembre in Espanol Uno) Which reminds me, I have a new goal: I want to be able to say three sentences in Spanish when I go to the Mexico pavilion at Epcot!!! Which reminds me again-I have to finish up my How to Plan A Disney Vacation paper.

Monkey-Man is a real something. He has his really good moments, his really odd moments (when he put a shoulder cord on his head and wore his clarinet tie and called himself a chick magnet), and his really bad moments. Today was good. Yeah!

Jamie-Thanks!!!! Will do!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was a really good day!! I mean, I wasn't cleared to go on any publications field trips (even though the typing teacher is training me to be a yearbook person) so that stinks out loud. But at our student council meeting today, I got to sit by the guy I have a crush on for like 15 minutes. Typical girl moment, but most of my classmates think I'm a really smart robot :rolleyes: ;) so let me have a moment!! :love: Okay, moment over.
The "methods student" teacher from my Biology class will be following me around for the remainder of the week. Fun!! Plus I have sectionals, and presentations out the bum-behind tomorrow-can do this, will do this, gonna do this.
Definitely a clear-patch day today. :)
B: eggy with ham (2), 1 cup cereal (2)
L: baked potato with 2 pats butter (3)
School Snack: a chocolate chip cookie crumb because I don't like chocolate. Tomorrow there will be mini cheesecakes, snickerdoodles and fried chicken noodle soup! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Home snack: Bagel and 2 apples (8)
Dinner: fried chicken noodle soup and McDonalds french fries (planned) 10.
Only 5 points over and usually it is much worse. I did resist the pull of cinnamon rolls and cookies because I am usually a carb fiend and those are my weaknesses. I resisted!! Hahahaha! Cinnamon rolls-you can not get to me!! Back off, snickerdoodle! I'll get the last snicker...doodle...!
TigerCheer2009
10-01-2005, 12:38 PM
Hey guys!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
B: four pancakes with syrup (10)
L: chicken noodle soup and salad (2)

Water: 44 ounces
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Too many snacks yesterday.
Today is turning out ucky. I am trying to call people to work on the class float and have got 0 people. Not to mention it's cold outside!!! I'm not complainin' though. I also gained three pounds this week because of the Personal Development class, my schedule and my eating choices (they weren't the best but far better than pre-WISH)
Football Game: We were in front of the absolute worst crowd EVER last night. They were throwing things at us, tooting air horns as we were playing, booing us...I got so mad. One of the male flags threw his flag at the end of its performance and about hit a drum major!!! Their band's performance was good, never mind the conditions. The first song they played was Beyonce's "Baby Boy"...the flag girls were in these loose/tight tanktops and long pants and dancing like a bunch of prostitutes and not very nice females parading themselves about. I'd be ashamed. They did this downward wiggle thing, and I swear if it went any longer, something would have "popped out" if you catch my drift. It all went downhill from there. We flattened them 77-0, though.
Good things this week:
-Baked potato for lunch 4 out of 5 days this week! I had a fish sandwich the other day, so I did well!
-Good water intake.
-Avoided many temptations!!!
Bad things this week:
-Not so good food choices.
-Very little exercise.
-Lots of stress and frustration.
-Football games/meetings for stuff left, right and center
-Personal Development class: Roots and Wings Week-TRADITIONAL FOOD or HEIRLOOM, but most are bringing in foods or recipes. (you bring in a food that is special to your past or special to you right now. We've had snow ice cream, which I only had a bite of, mini cheesecakes but mine fell on the floor, chicken-noodle-soup-to-die-for, snickerdoodles, chocolate chip cookies, brownies and lasagna to date.)
Focus for this week:
Cutting out the junk foods.
Better food choices.
Be nice to myself.
Add in a little more exercise (that isn't marching).
Adieu!!!!
Hey, thanks. I have to make this quick because in 15 mins homecoming parade starts. Eating this week stunk it up...horrible choices, a piece of candy and a juicey box. Needless to say, it was a splurge week, I'm not proud of it, but I am proud that I am making better snack choices!!! And better lunch choices!! And better meal choices (2 out of 3 ain't bad!!)
Exercise has been little if any, water tanked too, stress is high, hormones running higher (TOM's coming later this weekend UGH), and Jess is back in town. I have been trying to isolate the positive each day though...and today was that there was a pep rally today!!! And my awful squad leader gave us treat bags and I get to play Squad Leader tonight!~!!!!!
This is the first I've gotten to check in-life has become so busy that it's not funny!!!
I've had Powderpuff games, band, Student Council stuff after school, homework, prep for the dance tomorrow...ay yi yi!!! I'm going to need this Disney vacation!!!
Toodles and huggings!
Jen
I got a SUPER night's sleep last night and I loved it!!!! Tonight is the dance...and last night was the homecoming crowning. The head drum major was queen and we are all so proud of her!!
But, we got smeared in the game. We lost with style though...31-6 by the 5-and-0 team in the league. It was SO COLD last night, and I forgot to bring my flappy hat and my ears got chilly! :cold: :cold: :cold: Our halftime routine kicked bum. I tried eating a soft pretzel but it was still frozen!
I am so so so times ten excited for the dance tonight A) because Jess will be there, B) I don't have to dress up (the theme is Fall Harvest and the dress code is nice casual, like jeans and a flannel shirt) and C) I only have to decorate for student council, then I can enjoy the night!!
I think I'm going to finish out this cheat-eat week and start afresh Sunday. Again 2 out of 3 is not bad at all! Snacks have been better too.
Eating choices through the weekend: much better. Still kind of snacky behavior, but I did manage to avoid lots of NO NOs...water was down though.
The dance was the absolute best night of my life. Yet. I have a HUGE crush on this year's Homecoming King (have since ALIVE) and he danced with me!!!!!!!!!! Let me have my moment :love: :love: :love: . Okay, I'm done. I am obsessed with him and it scares me a tibble bit.
(And I avoided cookies! :cheer2: :cheer2: )
Today was really really good! I went shopping and got some new jeans with my friends and they notice that I've lost a lot!! I think it's safe to say that it was the best weekend ever. I ate dinner at that friend's house. We had a dinner fight.
The band members have discovered a new game called You're It...it's hard to explain but fun to play!
And the homecoming king still owes me a dance. Goshdarn hormones!!!!!!!!!
Jess was home this weekend...she's changed a lot.
Another one of my best friends, Holli, dressed me for the dance. And did my makeup and hair, and I got a lot of compliments for looking nice.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks Mike!

B: 2 cups cereal (4)
L: grilled cheese and ham sandwich (5), 1/2 bowl tomato soup (2)
S: soft pretzel (3), seven sips of Sprite (actually, its Pepsi equivilent...Sierra Mist, but I am a Sprite girl...). An apple at my friend's house
D: biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs, and potatoes. Lots of Raspberry Peach Crystal Light. ?????

Exercise; 11 minutes of raking leaves and a 15 minute walk to my friend's house

**Crystal Light-my friend's mom is on a diet and was looking out for me too!

Things I avoided:
KoolAid
Candy from assorted places
Cookies
Extra food

Thanks Kate.

It's been cold and crummy, but I have been doing it! It's taken all I have not to run and hide under a billion blankets because it is so freezing and rainy here!!

I haven't been doing well on water or exercise, though. I'll get it next time. TOM came yesterday (finally!!!)

Today was a very gloomy day...okay on all other terms...

I avoided cookies and soda pop and juice!!

B: 1 cup homemade mashed potatoes (5)
L: 1/2 baked potato (.5)
S: 2 PB and J's (10)

Water: 0, exercise: 0...it's a cold and crummy day outside!!! not even pretty!! I did rake the leaves though yesterday, in the pouring down rain!

My dad says we might go to Panera for dinner...yummy nummy.

Talk to you all later!! Es la llueve y hace frio!!! *It's raining and cold!*

TigerCheer2009
10-15-2005, 07:21 AM
I hate TOM!!!!!

A stupid excuse I know, but that coupled with the rain and the cold=Jen overeating because there was nothing else to do. Well, it was a pretty bad eating day yesterday (2 cups cereal=4, 1 slice 2-point toast...1 slice Domino's Cheese Pizza=4, Jen's Special Sauce-age 10, and a couple of hotdogs at the game). We lost the game...pretty badly. 6-38...against a pretty good team. Band was good.

Band-the band teacher almost made us cancel our Disney trip!!!! We are going over a concert. My brother is the only clarinet in his section of the band...and I am in first section, which means he could have legally failed us. We talked to the principal, superintendent-I was so furious. My family had been wishing for this for years! To think that he could crush my dreams was heartbreaking. But he didn't!!! I love K (principal!!)

Exercise: Marching, I guess. It's been cold and rainy and busy here.

Water: At least something I did great on. 40 ounces last night!

Today is going to be very busy...I can feel it!

Hey Jen,

Here's a cheer for you!!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Jen! Jen! She's our gal!
Her winning spirit will never fail!

She drinks that water, and does those cheers,
To make those extra pounds disappear!

Though times get tough and skies get gray,
She keeps up her chin, the smile never goes away!

She'll beat those snacks and junk at school,
For Jen we know is not a fool!

When all is said, and all is done,
This a game that Jen will have won!!!

Go Jen!!!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hope you like it! Glad the principal helped so your trip was not cancelled!!!
Have a great weekend and a great next week!

Just noticed this thread...so I am guessing you are in HS? Are you a cheerleader and in the band?
I was in both in HS ...
I just stopped coaching cheerleading (did it for 12 years) to be home with my youngest son.
We won National cheer championships 2 times, so I am quite proud of that! Cheerleading can take up alot of time, esp if you are competitive.

Keep up the great work with your wish!

Where are you staying?

Keep up the good work...I could use to shed some pounds myself, but on the opposite side of you, I can down the water. An average day I drink at least 72 oz! That is about all that I ever drink. Pop is a once in a while treat I may average about 1 can every week and a half. In the fall and winter I like to drink hot decaf tea. mmmm.....

Hey, Jen! Are you really just 4 pounds away from your goal!?!?!?!??!?! That is so incredibly AWESOME!!! Keep going, girl! :cheer2: You ROCK!!! :banana: Can you see it? Right there ahead of you. That magic number. The one you have been working towards for 26 long pounds! It is within your sight and within your reach! Just keep on going! We are all here to cheer you on and see you succeed. And we are so proud of you. So, even if that is an interim goal or mini-goal, it is one you set and it is one you will reach. So, step back from the lemon bars. . . Go fill up a glass with some ice water and stick a straw in it and sip away those pounds, chickie! :teeth:

Just put a bit of lemon juice in that water...it helps me some! And don't forget that you can flavor that water with tea or something...as long as it is water...and don't put sugar in it, girl !
You can do it! :banana:

I am staying at the Grand Floridian...once in a lifetime trip there...looking forward to it. Partly the reason for there is b/c we will have our 21 month old at the time with us and he will continue to NEED naps...so ust a short hop on the monorail and we are back in the oom...when the kids are older maybe we will stay in a different place and be able to stay LONGER!? :cool1:

You are right about the icky and rainy here in Ohio...what did we go about a week or so with no peaks of sunshine?! YUCK! :sad2:

Keep it up and remember WHY you are doing this....the overwhelming satisfaction you will have when you are done will be SO rewarding! You should be proud you have gotten this far...don't let those last 4 pounds keep you from your goal...GO GO GO! :cheer2:

I listen to the Fish when I can get it. Most of the time that is not very often, though.

I'm so psyched!! The concert is tonight!!!! YAY!

Cheering was totally fun! I got to cheer a little bit at the game, I'd say about half an hour. It makes me remember why I love it :)

I had a great Friday. Except we had a total downpour at the game...and we lost...and we got soaked.

It was stress week this week! Not good, but a better one than normal. Stress weeks comes from the shock that hits you that-hey, high school is REAL. It's the end of the nine weeks. Got all my work turned in but everything is starting to pick up-shock!

There has been lots of pasta and homemade bread at my house. Not very good. I've given in to the pasta but not the bread.What an accomplishment!!

B: 1 cup pasta with Dad's Sauce
L: PB and J, tomato soup

Points are starting over tomorrow. Did I mention: three day weekend!!!! YES!!!!!!

Sorry I haven't been here you guys. Life is slowing starting to go crazy-homework, school, church, volunteer work (I have to do three hours for a grade...I'm going to the animal shelter. With any luck I can walk the dogs!!) and after-school stuff.

Eating has been good, water's been okay, exercise has been very good!

Keeping on keeping on. TOM is here...

I have an end-of-football bonfire thing tonight. Last night I saw Chicken Little and hung out with Jess!! She's moved back!

Yesterday's eats:
2 cups cereal (4)
1 cup mashed potatoes (4)
1/2 sub (5)
Chicken finger salads x 3 (very small but i was also STARVING!) 8

Today's eats:
4 cups cereal (8) *cringes* I know I shouldn't eat that much, but I've been trying to listen to my body more and it said that it wanted more cereal.

I have to make buckeyes for church in an hour. We'll see how that goes.

My Buckeyes did very well, thank you, prevailing over a local team (Findlay Oilers)!! Yay Bucks!!

Um, not so good today...
~!!From the 150 Club thread because I am too tired to retype it!!~
TOM is wreaking havoc. My whole house computer hard drive crashed. What a lovely day it's been.

But seriously, it has been a pretty good day. I don't know what lunch time kills me more: at home (portion size=big) or at school (not good food choices!!)

B: egg with turkey and 2 slices toast with grape jam (6)
L: chicken sandwich and salty fries. Thanks TOM (11)

My friends all think I am cuckoo for planning the trip! But then again, they are requesting me to plan their vacations too!!

I am going to enjoy all the food, trust me!! I read a bunch at home...so my friends came up with a list of things for me to do while I'm there (Like no reading, eating popcorn, getting a Mickey hat, riding all the rides etc.) It should be good.

As I said, my computer crashed, so I'd give you my itinerary if I could still access it. Thank goodness I printed it out!!!!

I am so totally taking as many pictures as I possibly can, digital or otherwise...so I can get a good disney fix here at home!! When I get home, they are going straight into the Photobucket account!! YAY for digital cameras!!!

Be back in a little while. I'm going to check on a few things more, then buckle down and start in on the scads of HW given to me!!

Thanks for stopping in Lesli! I have only been getting to this journal and 150's so far this year. I will get to them all sometime!!

School has been CRAZY! Plus our computer crashed yesterday...so it's gradually getting better...

I have been bitten by this freak cleaning bug!!!!!!! I mean not shove-everything-in-the-closet-or-under-the-bed, but actually clean clean. I must be coming down with something; it IS Jen's Allergy Season after all. We think it is cottonwoods...

My eating day was pretty good! Check it out!!

B) egg with honey ham, apple (4)
L) baked potato (1)
S) tortilla chips (13 Tostito Scoops) 3, salsa (0), 2 apples (2), 10 Lays Cheddar and Sour Cream chippies! (3) <--for some reason those didn't taste very good.
D) I don't know...I'm in a salad mood tonight...

Exercise: 0 yet...
Water: 8 ounces I believe.

Today's been a very good day. Food's been kept in check, even with that little snackie oops!

And I think TOM is gone...yay!

I miss ALIVE today-the people, the concerts, the SUN!!!, the fun, the beach, the talks-didn't think I ever would. Those who have never been there won't understand. "Once you get a taste of something delicious, you can't ever go back to the same old stuff..." I can't imagine life without ALIVE now! I grew so much as a person there...I became a more independent me. I liked myself there (realized that I don't like bathing suits), but I could be a real person instead of the person I am during the school year!!!!!!!! (aka: the smart girl who needs a vacation and is getting one!!!)

Adieu, all!!!

Hugs! Jen

I think I did a REALLY REALLY REALLY good job today! even with double snacks!!!

B: egg with ham, 2 apples (I am on this HUGE apple kick right now!!!) 4
L: breadsticks with tomato cheese sauce (uck.) 5
S1 pre cheerleading: 2 apples, ham and cheese sandwich (5)
S2 post cheerleading: 1 apple, chips and salsa (13 or 14 Tostito Scoops) and salsa (4)

Too many apples eaten today!!!!!

I worked my butt off at cheerleading. Stretching, two different jump circles featuring about 5 jumps each, many many cheers, two herkies-into-splits (one of which hurt my ankle a little bit. No permanent or any kind of damage done!), dances, sink it cheers (which we never actually finished), and our GO ONE's! GO ONE's are little chants we do when the starters are announced. I learned a lot!!!

"Go ONE (*note: the one will be switched with names when we get a roster!) Go ONE GO!" We do this four more times. We end with GO TIGERS, GO FIGHT WIN! TIGERS.

Scrapbook switchup in the near future soon...ASA we get a roster!

And homework...and clarinet solos tomorrow! Yayness.

Gotta go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cheerbop-You should definitely go again!!! Lots of fun! I loved it! There's a kiddos tent too...
Let me know if you do! I will look for you. At the concerts, my group is the one with the pink flamingos!!!!
Water was fantastic. 6 minutes of exercise (a little bit today because my muscles hurt from cheering-and that was the walk to and from school!)
Tomorrow is the vet's day lunch and the big band lock in! Any tips on how to come out of those somewhat healthy seeing as pop, chips, pizza, hotdogs and cookies will be there???? Any tips appreciated!
Enjoy the day and your weekend. :sunny:
Hey guys!!!! I'm back from a "whirlwind week!" Some eating days have been good, some have been okay, and some have been downright horrible. Like today.
There was a band lockin last night. Somebody brought fruit and diet pop-just my luck they were out of the good stuff by the time I make my way up to the food table!!!!! So I had those gosh-darn Lays Cheddar and Sour Cream chips. Those are so good they should be illegal. And one glass of Mountain Dew LiveWire so I didn't fall asleep too early. And some pizza.
Yesterday, my dad bought this French Toast French Vanilla bread from Peppridge Farms. DO NOT BUY IT BECAUSE IT TASTES VERY VERY GOOD!!!! I am warning you; it is too delicious it should be banned.
I AM going to do this! I know I can and I know I will. The rest of the day will be very good.
B: french toast bread (maybe 4 slices, i think) and taco meat and an apple
Exercise: 16 minutes of a cheerleading workout.
What Jen does to get herself psyched up:
This might be a little crazy, seriously (but I swear, I'm totally sane right now if not a little bit tired, seeing as I got 2 hours of sleep)
I write on my mirror with one of those Expo Markers, that black dry erase kind, or sometimes pink when I can find it!
And my parents know and they are okay with it!
So I wrote these things where I can see them everyday.
"Love yourself.
Reach for the sky.
Healthy Choices!
YOU CAN DO THIS!
Take pride in yourself and your efforts.
Do your best day to day.
LOVE Jenjo**"
**Jenjo is a name the Brat Kids gave me before they turned all bratty on me. They still call me that when I see them. That name reminds me that I'm worthy-that I don't deserve to treat myself like a meanie-bum or let others treat me mean. It reminds me that I'm a fighter who won't stop for anything.
It reminds me that I've been through some tough times, but I stuck it out!
Anyway, when I get mad I say my special name for myself a couple of times so I think through my action before I do it.
Sounds weird and crazy, but it works for me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lock in was fun. I saw a LOT of great movies, and fell asleep. But it was fun and I was SUPER tired.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jenjo's Plan of Action for Today:
1) Bra shopping. It needs to be done before I get my uniform.
2) Water. I couldn't get much in yesterday.
3) Healthy choices because I love my body and it's tired of junk food (I felt sick to my stomach last night. I haven't had that many chips or soda in a LONG time, maybe even Pre-WISH!!!)
4) Veteran's Dinner. Survive! The menu is cube steak (which I dislike), and many carbs that I will fall in love with. I think I'll eat defensively for that one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WI this morning was 175. Not too bad...I was happy for anything under 180 this week! By the time I leave, the 170's will know EVERYTHING about me! Still keeping on keeping on though because:

"If you aren't willing to work for it (fight for it), you really don't want it that bad."

And I will work tooth and nail and pom to get it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Love to you all!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kate-not only did I forget my pillow, but it had a lovely bag of 100-cal packs and gum and water and fruit in it beside it!!!! :guilty: Oh well, what's done is done.

Thanks, Kate!!!!

I will enjoy my weekend.

We had a Challenge Day this week. I think it was one of the best things I've ever done. I learned a lot about me and the others around me. I really felt accepted!

Parade tomorrow. A busy weekend.

Food has not been particularly well...in fact it's not been a good week at all! Exercise has been good and water has been okay.

But tomorrow is a new day and lots of marching!!! In the cold down a 3 mile street!!! Yay.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mike-Yay for Disney Conversation!!! I totally agree!!
Thanks,Chris! I'm doing well!
Things have become much more busy now that basketball season and Disney trip are swingin' into high gear!!
I'll be back when I can!
Today was the parade. I marched all 3.4 miles of it and didn't feel tired or winded at the end. THAT is one of the hugest accomplishments!!!
B: 1 hotdog, 1 mug tomato soup (7)
L at Golden Corral (buffet restaurant): 1/2 ham and Swiss sandwich, 1 pulled pork sandwich, mashed potatoes, 1/2 a salad (spinach, lettuce, cucumber, carrots), 2 tomato slices, a spoon of green beans, a spoon of creamed spinach and some fruit. How'd I do? OH!! And two rolls.
Water has been excellent!!
Thanks Cheerbop!!!! I can't WAIT to possibly see you in WDW!
This weekend was not meant to be a healthy eating weekend. My friends came over and I had California white pizza with bacon and chicken. I went to a pizza buffet after volunteering today (1 salad,3 slices above mentioned pizza, 4 breadsticks, LOTS of water). I picked at a slice of pizza during the Meet the Team dinner.
I did get to cheer today. The crowd wasn't even big and I got nervous!!
Last night, when my friends were over, we were looking at pictures. We were talking about who had moved and who was left. They pointed to a picture of themselves and how they really thinned out. They had!! Next, they point to a pic of me and say "Jen!!! You've REALLY thinned out!!!" Yay!!!
Two days of school this week!! Yippie!
Today: 2 slices French toast
L: pizza buffet meal
D: tomato soup
Not too bad.
10 minutes of a cheerleading workout and some actual cheering!! We did a dance and a cheer! :goodvibes
