When we go in Sept, my daughter will be 2 months from 4. She is potty trained and well adjusted. What kind of documentation is needed to drop her off at the child care center? We are staying at the animal kingdom lodge.

Will disney give me any problems or try to verify her age?

Thanks.

From other posts it sounds like they will ask you AND her how old she is. The age is set by the State rules for child care in Flordia. They are quite strict on the age requirement.

They probably won't ask for proof of age, but the are licensed by the state of Florida to take children four years and older. They risk losing their license to take a child three years and eleven and a half months.

Also, if anything happened to the child, who's to say that Disney would be liable? You'd have lied to them about the child's age, so it wouldn't have been appropriate for her to be there in the first place.

Can I add suggestion to this for those with just over 4 year olds...something I plan to do, if we can bring him...bring a birth certificate. We are traveling down the night before my sons 4th bday and I can see them asking him how old he is an he saying 3...because he is newly 4. Just to cover myself, I'm planning on bringing his cert!!! :cool1:

Last spring, I was told emphatically that my ds had to be 4 -- he was just 2 weeks shy of his 4th birthday! I didn't push the issue.

The clubs do not ask for documentation but I think I had to put my DD's birthdate on the entrance form. You would basically have to lie to put her in the club.
