Here are my recommendations:

Best for viewing layouts of other's work. Also you can search by category (i.e. Disney): www.twopeasinabucket.com

Best for sketch samples and overall ideas: www.creatingkeepsakes.com

Best online shopping site - great prices and inexpensive shipping: www.scrapbooking-warehouse.com

Disney supplies: www.mousememories.com

If you like the SEI line: www.shopsei.com for layout ideas and online shopping

Have fun!

My favorite online site for supplies is 4everscrappin.com I just happen to stumble on this website one day and it has turned into my favorite place to shop. Infact, the owner now calls me when new stuff comes in...do you think that is a sign that I shop too much. Check it out!

PS - I have no affliation with this site, just thought I'd pass on a good place to shop for supplies!

I like www.scrapyourtrip.com . Just placed my first order with them the other day.

Another site that looks good is www.myscrapbooknook.com . Found this site on the forum this morning. I really like their disney themed papers.

Here's my list of links for UK scrappers and crafters:

Lovely papers and bits and bobs but beware the very high postal charges.

No ability to order online but stores nationwide so there should be one near you, carries over 30,000 items.

Carries 3D decopage kits for Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Co and also Pooh Bear characters and storybook moments from the Pooh books.

Has fantastic Disney stuff including theme park stickers, also beautiful books.

Great scrapping bits and pieces including mini picture frames in film strip style, great for MGM pages!

Great selection of stickers.

Things for all types of crafts imaginable at reasonable prices.

Rather long winded navigation, not the best site but good if you're into stamping and glitter products

Good prices but almost no pictures so buying online is a nightmare. It's probably better to go to the shop in Manchester city centre.

Not a great deal of scrapping stuff but good for other crafts.

Big directory of smaller crafting sites.

Consultant based service, go on the website to find your nearest consultant.

Local store in Leeds, great selection of Anita's products.

Sorry if this has already been posted.
I'm pretty new at scrapbooking and found this site with a great HowTo page. A lot of how-to-make-your-own stuff to save money or if you just cant find what your looking for to add to a page. I know a lot of you already know this stuff (I love the pages I'v seen on the boards, you guys are awsome ) but if your new like me hope it helps.

I just bought a bunch of stickers at www.simplystickers.com (http://www.simplystickers.com/) . Their prices are good and they have an extensive line of Disney. I mostly bought border stickers and they were $1.65 compared to $2.00 and up elsewhere. The shipping was $2.50. I will let you know how the service is when I get them.

I ordered Friday and Saturday afternoon I got an email that they had shipped. I'll keep you updated.

There is a Yahoo message board called Disney Scrappers that chats about scrapbooking your Disney vacations. They also chat about scrapping in general, Disney vacations and some of life's everyday happenings. But, mostly Disney!

In their Files and Photos sections there are quite a few layouts and ideas from the group's members. There is also a Monthly Challenge to motivate you to scrap a page for your Disney albums!

Hi everyone!
I just completed my very 1st page EVER! It's my title page to my Disney scrap booking album. Phew, it's a lot of work this scrap booking thing, especially when you're afraid to cut the paper, lol!

I'm sure I'll get over the initial "but what if I do it wrong" thoughts that hinder any fast process for me. In the mean time I can not find a site I stumbled on and DID book mark but then unfortunately must have deleted it :(.

There was a site with a lot of "sketched" layouts for square and/or block pages only. They did not have too many embellishments either. The name Sherry comes to mind but I have no idea if that is the designer???? I also remember them being in double page layouts, which I really liked as well.

Anyone have the foggiest of ideas what I'm talking about???? I'm a total fraidy cat when it comes to scrap booking and I plan to scrap-lift galore...but I think I am also the simple layout-type too and just want square edges with not too much fussiness on my pages.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you are looking for paper or embellishments for your Lilo & Stitch pages this site has the BEST selection of tropical items. Shipping is fairly quick and by priority mail.

:tinker: I've been very happy with www.houseofpaper.com lately! Also, you might want to check out a couple of these LOs for ideas: Harambe (http://www.houseofpaper.com/custom/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=9205&sort=1&cat=500&page=2), Dance (http://www.houseofpaper.com/custom/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=9203&sort=1&size=medium&cat=500&page=2), It's a Small World (http://www.houseofpaper.com/custom/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=8808&sort=1&cat=500&page=3), Pooh's Playful Spot (http://www.houseofpaper.com/custom/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=8667&sort=1&cat=500&page=4), Around The World (http://www.houseofpaper.com/custom/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=8532&sort=1&cat=500&page=6), and Blustery Day (http://www.houseofpaper.com/custom/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=7911&sort=1&cat=500&page=8), for some fun, but simple!, ideas! :)

Not sure if this is where to put this, but if there are any scrappers on here from Louisville, KY they are opening a store called Archivers at Oxmoor Center. I think it opens around Sept. 22. Its probably expensive but worth checking out.

09-11-2006, 09:56 PM
There's an Archivers just a mile and a half from my house. They have a fairly good collection of Disney stuff from EK Success & Sandylion, including a variety of albums. If you're looking for latest-and-greatest, though, corporate seems to wait for a while to order stuff for their stores.

10-11-2006, 02:40 PM
I like scrapyourtrip. Just placed my first order with them the other day.

WOW! I had never been to Scrap Your Trip before, but they have so much awesome stuff. I LOVE the Gettysburg stuff since that is the book I'm working on right now. Their Washington DC stuff is cool too. I think I might get myself in trouble with that site! ;)

I was wondering if we are allowed to post our own site. My sister and I have an ebay scrapbook store and a yahoo store but I don't want to post the link if it is a no-no.

12-31-2006, 07:37 AM
My all time favorite site is www.acherryontop.com ! They have all the new products as well as a gallery ( great to scraplift from ) and a message board that I havent figured out yet. lol. You also get points for every dollar spent, and when you get enough points you can use them for $$ off. OH, and they send out newsletters with 40% off of any one item code each month. This site is so easy to navigate, if you click on something you like, then the whole collection shows up.

Is there something in particular you are looking for or are you just looking in for general Disney stuff or other stuff?

04-12-2007, 03:25 PM
I get bits and pieces from all over the place, some from the US and some locally (which generally says "Made in the USA" on it :rolleyes1 ). I'm currently MAD about Basic Grey (I loved their Fruitcake collection), and for plain I've got hooked on Bazzill, so I go wherever has good deals - for example a local online store had a lucky dip (or grab bag to you) of Bazzill which worked out 28p a sheet instead of the usual 40-60p for 12x12. I might not have chosen the colours myself but now I've got them its a challenge to work with different colour schemes.

I have had good service from A Cherry on Top and Little Scrap Box. Cut@Home is also excellent for discount on cutting stuff - I got the Karen Foster design books for my Xyron PCS at a really good price even with postage - I can't get that sort of thing over here, only the most basic sets.

04-12-2007, 04:07 PM
Is there something in particular you are looking for or are you just looking in for general Disney stuff or other stuff?

Oh, sorry, a good selection of Disney themed paper. I've checked out Mouse Memories, Bargain Rack & Scrap Your Trip but, none of them seem to have a great selection. Maybe there just isn't a great selection out there. In June will be our first trip to Disney so, this is the first time I've ever looked for this stuff.

05-01-2007, 04:43 PM
I have found packs of Disney themed paper at Michael's, Hobby Lobby and Archivers. In fact I now have too much Disney themed paper!

The packs usually come in 'books' in which you have to (carefully) tear out the paper. You can find them in sizes ranging from 8x8, to 8x11 to 12x12 in styles including Magic Kingdom papers, Princess papers, and Mickey papers (including "Simple Backgrounds" and "Mickey and Friends"). If I recall properly the non-sale price of 12x12 books of Disney paper was $9.99 at Michael's.

They can also be purchased at Paperwishes.com. Go to their site and click on the tab for Disney or do a search for "Disney" and you will get 8 pages worth of results of paper and other items either officially Disney or related to Disney. They sell the 12x12 packs for $8.95.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were scrapbook stores on or near International Drive. I'm leaving tonight:banana: to go to US/ IOA and DW and was thinking of getting some scrap items for my album. thx

05-22-2007, 11:28 AM
I'm rather surprised no one has repiled to my question? I've gone and come back from Orlando and the only place I found was a Michaels on Int dr. and to say the least I was dissapointed in their selection. Went to the Outlet malls and Festival Bay Mall...no stores?? I really would like to find some US or IOA paper or stickers ...are they available?? thx again.

I have been lurking for awhile and i am going to make my first scrapbook. I have been gathering up supplies and here is what I am looking for: brads, buttons, flowers. I would initially like to get those that come in a pack with several colors. I don't want to have to buy a dozen packets to get a variety of colors. Does anyone buy from a site that has mainly embellishments or do you by from a scrapbooking site in general. I have come across a few sites and I am looking for more suggestions. I live in a small town and the only craft store is a Hobby Lobby that is 20 miles away so i have to do most of my shopping online. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

07-13-2007, 06:37 PM
I've received catalogs with a vast array of embellishments from Paper wishes (http://www.paperwishes.com)and Oriental Trading company (http://www.orientaltrading.com/application?namespace=browse&origin=catalogProducts.jsp&event=catalog&categoryId=377462&tabId=Crafts&Hobbies). I've not ordered from them yet, but both companies are reputable.

The above links will take you to their online catalog.

Love the website. This is such a good idea for just Disney layouts. Hope a lot of scrappers post their layouts. I need all the help I can get sometime. If I get brave, I may post some of mine (I've never done it before)..

that is too cool. i just looked through most of the threads. i know i like to save other peoples layouts so i can see how they did things and get ideas. so its really cool to have someplace to go look.

I saw this on a tech-tv show and thought I'd share with y'all. It's a website where you can type in text and see what it will look like with fonts you've got loaded on your machine. I haven't played with it much but it looks like it would be helpful to compare different fonts for a title, etc.

I love to shop at Scrap Your Trip. I have used them for almost 2 years. They make a lot of custom die cuts and custom papers. If you also like that then you can find them on the web at scrapyourtrip.com

Does anyone know of any scrap sites your Canada? Some of the sites I've been to don't send across the border, and the rest charge almost double the cost of the products just for shipping. Then you have to account for the exchange rate.

Are there sites that are more Canadian friendly?

This is GREAT!!!! Thanks!

Even if you don't order from the site, it still has great color-combo ideas. :)
