Well here I go. I am trying to get healthier. I have half heartly tried every diet known to man and guess what......none of them work....for me anyways. So after lots of failed attempts I am going to work off the Canadian Food Guide. Choosing healthy carbs and continuing to kick the pop, caffine, sugar addictiion I have. Also cut out white stuff, bread etc.

I am already exercising a lot more then I have in the past so I hope that helps. I am also going to try and stay off the scale. This morning it was 186, literally 2 mins later it was 188 again...so today I had a lunch I probably shouldn't have.....I will walk extra tonight....still no pop....

W.I.S.H me luck.!!! Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!

Journaling is a really fun way to lose weight and you are already off to a good start. Changing the eating habits and exercising are the best ways to keep the lbs. of for good. I would suggest that you don't skip lunch as this will slow down your metabolism, but do practice portion control and healthier choices. Good luck on your plan and remember we are here for you whenever you need someone to listen.

BTW, my scale had the same problem today. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Thank you for the encouragement.

Actually I skipped dinner last night but not on purpose, I had to take my daughter shoes shopping and with the caffine out of my diet I have been exhausted all week.

Oppsss later then I thought....gotta run....will check in later

Welcome to WISH!

You sound like you've got a good plan. I know how hard it is to kick that pop habit, but if you hang in there you can do it! :cheer2:

You're doing great!  The tiredness from kicking the pop habit will disappear soon. Just try to get in some extra water and a few veggies and fruit for a "pick me up". It will get better and you will have more energy soon. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo
