Hello. My name is Dave and I'm new to the boards. I have been having a hard time looking for Disney Timeshares. I'm trying to get a time share for like once every 2 years. If anyone can give me some sites that have prices about them then that would be great. Thanks again

There is a forum right here on the DISboards! Feel free to ask us any question there you want. They have lots of info there.

In a nutshell....you can buy minimum of 150 pts. from Disney directly. Points are in the $90 per point range at the moment. Some resorts are harder to get than others. You can 'bank' your points from say, 2005, into 2006..giving you double points for that great every other year trip. Head over to the DVC area of these boards and you can even get a points calculator that will tell you how many points you would need for your particular vacation.

Here's the link to the DVC boards on DIS : http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7

You can also purchase a DVC contract resale from these sites (you will be responsible for the closing costs and financing though) :

http://www.dvc-resales.com/

Also, this is a great site to assist with planning and points etc :

Good luck & welcome to the DIS :wave2:

I've been wanting this information too! :flower: I recently received a bit of inheritance money, and I'm dying to buy DVC! However, I don't know anything about it, and what I have heard in the past is to buy resale. Guess I better get to reading the DVC boards! Thanks for the info! :wave2:
