When we booked the cruise, all the 6:30 dinning were all sold out and we ended up with the 8:30 dinning assignment. Since we have a 2-year old, I would really like to be able to change to a 6:30 slot. From what I heard, there has always been a long wait list for 6:30 dinning before we even booked ours. Has anyone ever been in this situation before? I was just wondering if there is any chance we could still our dinning arrangement changed?

Hi Mamabear and welcome to the DIS!
Call your travel agent or DCL (whoever you booked with) and get on the waitlist for 6:30 dining. Then, if you don't get switched before you cruise, ask at check-in where dining changes are made. Go right away and ask to have it changed. Believe me, if they can accomodate you, they will!

Thanks. We already requested to be put on the waitlist. But since there are so many people in front of us on that list, it's not looking too good for us. I'll try to request it again at the check-in as you suggested.

There have been a lot of threads on this topic in the past couple of months. You might want to do a search.

Sorry, we tried to get it changed on board with no luck. The couple next to us got to move up once. They do try to get everyone at least once I think.
Ours was a 4 night cruise.

Doesn't seem to be. Must have ended up in the wrong board.
