I don't know why, but these funky looking sandals appeal to me. I'm thinking of purchasing a pair for me, and grandsons, two and six. Anyone have any experience with Keen sandals?
Thanks.

I haven't tried Keen's yet, but I saw on another posting that they were really comfortable. I just ordered some last night from Cabelas.com. They had the Women's Newport style (Ink color only) on clearance for $49.99, and that was the cheapest that I could find them. I am not usually a sandal wearer, because I like to have more support for my feet. Also, I have to have a back strap on the sandal, because I am not very coordinated and tend to fall off my sandals if they are not secured to my foot :flower:

 I'm a Keen fan! I purchased a pair last summer- so did DH- they are awesome! My DH did find they got a bit hot for a sandal but I didn't find them that way. Very comfy!

I love mine - my mom and Gma have them too and we just bought some for DD 6 - paid $50 for them so she better wear them!

Keen makes a pretty good hybrid sandal. I completely recommend them for anyone that shuffle walks or drags their toes. I found that my plain Newports broke in a bit more quickly then the newport H2 models did but either are great.

Thanks for the Cabela info. They have Keen Jamestown slides for 44.95, which is much cheaper than any where else. I'm just not sure if they would be too warm for summer. I may hold out for the thong type, Antiqua. I just hate to pay full price for anything! :teeth:

Well I bit the bullet and bought the Jamestown slide from Cabelas for 44.95. Zappos has them for 85.95, with about 30 very positive reviews. Can't wait to get them. Thanks again for leading me Cabelas, Shagley!

Debbie, I'm glad I could save you some $$. I placed my Cabelas order through their website on Wednesday evening, and I received my order on Friday. Now THAT is service! The only bad part is that I don't think my Keen sandals fit right, so I am going to have to return them to try a larger size :( . I bought a size 8 which is what I wear (some brands I even wear 7 1/2), but they seem a little small for my feet. I will let you know if they offer the same great service with returns as they did when I placed my order.

Hello!
I have several pairs of Keens, and I love them all. Unfortunately they are somewhat difficult to find in stores, which makes it hard to try a pair on for size. Keep in mind they run about a half size small. I have purchased mine online from REI, Altrec, etc.

Look over on the "strategies" forum. There are a lot of Keen lovers there.
I don't own a pair yet, but there are stores here in Oklahoma that carry them. I'm planning to check them out this week. I like the way they look too.
But...You can't judge a shoe by it's cover!
