View Full Version : Is there a need for Cypress Point/Cypress Point GV FAQ?

Now, I've never been.. but there seems to be a lot of buzz about CP /CP GV.
I admit I got intruiged by the talk here on the Disboards, and booked a stay.
I know there are some trip reports by others, some picture threads, and other stuff.
Is this something the mods/or a recent guest would want to take on?
I'd love to contribute once I return from my stay, but it won't be until August.

I would say Yes - also one for Silver Lake, Sheraton Vistana Resort.

I've been thinking about that for a while now...The Disney Resorts page has FAQ Sticky posts, we could use them for the more popular offsite resort/hotels.

Sounds good to me too!!!
By the way, I emailed CP to check on my reservation and to make a special request. They answered me within a day and answered all my questions!!! :flower: I'll report when I get back......if time would only move a little faster!!!

Definitely a good idea! The same questions keep coming up and it would help to have all the info in one place.

Excellent idea! We could also use one for Skyauction.

Any one that wants to start an FAQ is more than welcome to start one. You would need to keep an eye on it and contribute to it.
It isn't something that a moderator starts except I started the one for CBR before I was one.

Even a sticky would be great as it would stay there all the time. We could post our reports and pics on there which should cover most of the same questions that are asked all the time.

I like the idea too. Due to discussions here, I've booked Cypress Pointe for Fri and Saturday stays when costs at the DVC are just too high. We're staying in a two bedroom in April, and then in a studio for 3 nights in July. It was the pics at www.cypresspointe.net of the studio that helped me decide. Look at the page for comparison between Phase I and II and follow link to the pictures.
We discovered the back way to Apopka Vineland from camping at Ft W, and I really think the location is great.
Edited to add how to view pics.
