View Full Version : Time out from Disney to see Universal
We just bought the 2 day no expire tickets for US/IOA and will be going on our trip to WDW this May. My question is are all the parking areas in a garage and can it all be seen in two days??..smjj

Yes, the parking areas are in garages and all can definitely be seen in two days (we did everything that we wanted to do in one day). We had the one day/two park ticket and didn't purchase the express plus tx. We did get some individual express passes for a few rides, and we went on a Saturday! The walk from the garage to the entrance takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on how fast you can walk/run :flower:

Curious ... what time of year did you go? Am planning to spend one-day only @ IOA. A Saturday in June. Worried that it will be too crowded. Any thoughts??

June is ok.
Kids are out of school, but most still haven't thought about a trip. July and the first two weeks of August are the most busy time of the year.
If you arrive to the parking garage early at 8am, it doesn't matter when you visit. You can take a lap around the park, and be done by noon with the major rides. Then you eat lunch and go see some shows. Or you leave, go back to your hotel room, rest, and come back at 5pm for the evening.
Here's directions with pictures of the parking garage.

If you are going in June, it will be crowded, If you can handle it, I would REALLY suggest spending on night onsite in one of their three hotels. You get front of the line passes for the family for the day before, and the day after your stay. Makes a HUGE difference. You can buy passes for about 30.00 a day per person that get you to the front of each line one time, but if you are going to do this, you may as well spend the one night.
