The best tip I can give is.....

DON'T FORGET TO PURCHASE THE TRAVEL INSURANCE!!!

or talk to God before you make the reservation and make sure that no one is going to die while you are there.

My grandmother passed away while we were there in November of last year and we did not purchase the insurance, so they were "very sorry" but they could not do a thing for us. Yeah, they refunded the 4 unused days at the resort, but we asked that they give us a voucher for the tickets so we could return and use the 4 days that were already paid for, but no!

It is not like we planned for my grandmother to pass away, not to mention that we have a 6 and 7 year old who obviously were very disappointed.

Don't know about everyone else, but we are not wealthy and cannot afford to throw away a couple thousand dollars!

So take my advice!!! Get the insurance. :sad2:

How much is insurance? Where can I find this out? Also, what does it cover?

For the situation above, think of it as a very expensive funeral.

Then look forward to your next WDW trip.

Well, I have got good news. Back a couple of months ago I sent a couple of emails to WDW about the situation and had not heard from anyone. That is why I called them the other day. So!!! Low and behold I received a call from WDW travel yesterday and the person said he had just received my email and he noticed it was written a while ago. Long story short, I told him the whole story of my conversation the previous day and how they would do nothing for me. He then stated he was going to put it through anyway and he would get back to me within a week or so. So, to tell you the truth I expected the same results, but......today I received a phone call from him and they decided to reimburse us the unused tickets as well!! I am very impressed. I was really upset about this, and my faith in WDW is restored!!! :cool1:
