Any steps or other obstructions?

How about the boats... Can they be boarded easily with a wheelchair?

Thank you!

Although I am not personally in a wheelchair but my brother is and did not seem to have a problem with either. There is a straight walk from epcot. The only thing with the boats is there is a little gap between the boat and the dock...we usually avoided this although once a portable ramp was provided like the ones on the monarail!

The path between the Boardwalk and Epcot and the Boardwalk and the Studios is very wheelchair friendly. The boats are also accessible with no problems.

Hubby scoots along the walkway in his ECV several times each trip to WDW.

Not sure if the wheelchair is manual or not, but if it is I wanted to warn you that there are hills on the route to Epcot and when you get inside and head toward WS. It can be tiring pushing a chair on these.

Have never walked to MGM so don't know if the same is true on that route.

::yes:: agree about those hills and other postings about the boats.

When you are at BW, you are on the opposite side of the water from the entrance of Epcot. The hills are caused by having to use the bridges to cross the water. The bridges have to be high enough for the boats to travel under them.
There are not hills going to MGM from BW since you are already on the correct side of the water.
