Sunglasses -- great deal in PA, Weis Markets

Sunglasses aren't typically cheap to replace these days. So, I figured that a bargain deal on sunglasses was worthy of mention.

For those DIS'ers located in Central and Eastern PA, if you have a Weis Markets in your area, you may want to check this out. I was at Weis today, and was looking at their sunglasses display, when one of the employees pointed out to me that ALL sunglasses are currently on sale for just $1.00. You read that right -- just one dollar! They are trying to clear out all of their remaining 2004 stock before the new sunglass styles begin coming in for the 2005 season, hence the incredibly low price.

I picked up two nice pairs of sunglasses for myself--since my glasses got broken while riding 'Dinosaur' at DAK last visit, I figured it might be wise to take a spare pair along to WDW this year. They had 'Panama Jacks', and Nascar brands, just to name a few. They also had lots of Disney themed sunglass for the kids too... featuring Mickey, the Princesses, Pooh & Friends, etc..

So, if you're fortunate enough to live near a Weis store, check out their sunglasses display this week--you may just find a really nice bargain! :cool2:

Thanks for the tip! I don't normally go to Weis (it's 10 minutes away) but I had to run into the Walmart beside it today and remembered this post. I stocked up! I got 2 pr for myself (I go through about 5 pair each summer :rolleyes: ) 2 pair for each of my daughters (to keep them from stealing MINE!) and a pair for each of my nephews to go in their Easter package.

This is why I still check this board frequently even though we don't have another Disney trip planned until Christmas 2007. There are all kinds of great other saving ideas. :teeth:
