Hey all,

I joined this Yahoo group a month ago and it is the best train I've ever been on. The way the moderator has it set up is everyone sends out a train each week (minimum of 50 coupons). This is great because I always get tired of waiting for a train to reach me, I've been on some that have taken over a month to go all the way around, also no expired coupons!

Here is the link:

Can you explain exactly how the coupon train works - I'm interested but unfamiliar with this.I went to the website, but couldn't find where it explains what it is and how it works.
TIA

Basically, there is a Master List with everyone on the train and you send an envelope with a minimum of 50 coupons a week to the person under you on the list. This way you get a envelope of coupons each week.

Whereas a "normal" train the first person on the list sends to the next and when the second person gets it they take what they want and add to it with their extras and send it to the third person and so on to the end of the list and then it starts over.

It keeps the coupons fresh and you don't have to wait 5 weeks to get an envelope. So far it's been working great! We post on the calendar when we send and when we receive so everyone knows the train is going smoothly.

LMK if you have any other questions!

Easy, the Sunday paper. You should get a minimum of 2 inserts each Sunday (excluding holidays) ;)

hmmmm. . . this sounds like a great idea. I always hate throwing away coupons that I won't use but know someone else would. Like cat food coupons, for example.

So you clip your coups on Sunday, and mail whatever you don't want on Monday to the person on the train after you?
