After visiting all four parks, Downtown Disney, and Port Orleans, my trip is quickly drawing to a close.
Since I wasn't doing any theme parks today, I slept in a little and saw the 6 am Mickey Mouse cartoons on Toon Disney instead of the 5 am ones on Vault Disney. Afterwards I took one last walk around the Riverside.

Walked around Ol Man Island and checked out the General Store again. It was back to the room to pack everything up and head out. But the fun wasn't over yet. It was off to the Polynessian Resort for breakfast.

First thing I looked around the Great Ceremonial House and the pool. The new Volcano at the pool is really nice. Walked around the Resort a little bit more (it really is neat) and checked out some of the gift shops. Found the new 2001 pressed quarter press for the Resort with Pocahontas on it (she really isn't Pollynessian, but who's complaining). Headed upstairs to the Kona Cafe. This was my first time and was pretty excited. I'd heard a lot about the Tonga Toast so I knew I had to order it and it was absolutely delicious. Didn't think I could eat it all, but I managed. Looked around one last time and had to move on. It was a great week, but I had to get home, happy, but exhausted.
This brings my 2001 Walt Disney World summer trip to an end. I hope you have enjoyed both the reports and the pictures which I have included. Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to read and respond to my reports.
