Someone I know went to FW last year and rented a golf cart. He said they have a drive in movie like back in the "olden"days. Has anyone heard of this or do you think he is talking about the regular movie they have after the campfire thingy. He said you drive up and it is like a real drive in movie theater.

No drive in that i am aware of, although you can drive the carts up close to the campfire / Movie program.

He may have been talking about the Sci Fi Drive In Theater restaurant at MGM. It looks like you're really at a drive in, you even sit in cars while you eat and watch the movies! It's a fun place to visit - but the food is not all that great. I would go for fries & a shake though, just to enjoy the atmosphere!
