View Full Version : RPR King Suite - Sofabed/Pullout

Hi!

We have a King Suite reserved at RPR. My question...is the sofabed/pullout comfortable? I've only slept on a sofabed once (like, 15 yrs. ago) and it was, well, interesting. Nothing quite like sleeping with a metal bar across your back all night. :worried: Thanks in advance! :)

I have stayed in the king suite at RPR a couple of times and the pullout is not comfortable at all. My suggestion would be to talke the mattress off the frame and put it directly on the floor.

I just asked my son (age 18 and 6'1") about the sofabed in the King Suite (we were there in February) and he said the comfort level was "medium". Not the best, but not horrible.

We had a king suite in December. I slept on the sofa bed once and I would say it was quite uncomfortable. The mattress is thin as in most fold outs.

We stayed in a King Suite and will never again..the ONLY reason we wont is that horrible sofa bed. I wouldnt even subject my kids to it. (meaning they weigh less and still one cried) RyGuy has the right idea, that would work!

My son LOVES the sofa beds at the Hard Rock Hotel. They must be completely different!

Thank you to all of you that responded! You guys rock! :) The reason I was asking about the comfort level of the sofabed is because I was considering asking my Mom if she wanted to stay at RPR with us. She stayed at RPR last year and loved it. She really, really deserves a nice vacation.

The original plan was just for me & my bf to go. He read all of your replies to my question and said he'd sleep on the sofabed and Mom & I could sleep on the bed. Sweet offer, but my Mom would never do that. She'd feel like she's imposing. I'm still going to ask her if she'd like to join us but tell her about the sleeping situation. We could always bring an airbed or get a rollaway. Heh, not sure which of the 3 (sofabed, airbed, rollaway) would be more comfortable.

FWIW..I have a 10 yr old who won't go anywhere NEAR a rollaway or fold out. He really would sleep on the floor first (and boy would THAT be fun to hear him complain about).

We have a top quality twin air mattress that's "sufficient" in his eyes, buy I don't think I'd recommend it for an adult.
