Early Entry ?

I know that Fantasyland in DL is the only early entry, but are you allowed to walk to other areas of the park? I am thinking about letting dh go on rides with the kids in Fantasyland and going to get fastpasses for Buzz. Can I go to other places in the park, and are the fast passes working that early? Or is it right at opening time which is 8 am next week.

Last time we were at DL in 2001 and Tomorrowland was open for Early Entry, the other areas were roped off and were not accessable.

I also haven't been to DL since early entry re-started, but in the past at DL and at WDW, the areas that have nothing open (Adventureland, NOS, Frontierland) will be roped off. Other areas, such as parts of Tomorrowland may be accessible. However, I bet you'll find that the Fastpass machines will be covered.

When I've gone to Early Entry in the past, I try to get to the ropes a little before they drop (say 8AM) so I can pick up fastpasses and/or ride some of the most popular rides first thing.
