Hello, I am pretty new to this site and I have really enjoyed being here. I have a question. We will be traveling the first week of April with 10 month old triplets and a 4 year old little girl. We will be taking bottles and baby food into the parks, is it okay to put other food and snacks in the cooler? I know they check bags at the park entrance, I just wanted to make sure they wouldn't have a problem with it. Thanks!

Hi from Ontario. We just got back from our Disney trip yesterday. Yes they do check your bags quickly. I saw a lady with a bag full of chips and Bananas etc. So yes you can take food. We took some snacks, food was exspensive.

I've never had a problem. I usually bring in a small lunch bag with those frozen PB&J's, ( the same one's they sell at the counter service for $3.50 a pop) I get a box of them at Publix for the same price. Fruit snacks, nuts, cookies. Also bring water bottles or Gatorade bottles that have the sport tops. They can be opened and closed and refilled.

We always bring a soft-sided cooler bag with sandwiches, bottled water, soda, chips, fruit, etc. We usually "splurge" on one counter service meal and one snack each day, but otherwise eat food that we bring in. There is no policy that I am aware of (and I have looked for one!) against bringing in your own food.

You are free to bring snacks in as long as you do it in moderation. We saw a family bring a large Coleman hard sided cooler that had wheels on the bottom for "carrying". They were stopped and told they couldn't bring it in the park. But we have seen several backpack and shoulder coolers that families bring in.

Yes, wheeled, hard-sided coolers are not allowed. Wagons are also not permitted.
