I heard the announcement on ABC news last night. After reading Disney War, I'm not sure whether this is good or not. There are two articles in todays 3/14) Wall Street Journal which are an interesting read.

Maybe there might be strings .
I feel Eisner being the man on top had to make some decisions that was right for the business.Those same decisions also were'nt popular with some other people (Shareholders , Media & Roy). Take a look at where disney has evolved in the last 10 years ( Successful Pixar films , 2 Cuiseline ships ,Animal Kingdom , good ratings on ABC shows).
I agree it's time for a change (new & fresh ideas). Lastly Disney can't move to a better future without rememebering and having a strong foundation .
I'm not saying Eisner was all good , he is human .We all make mistakes , but let's look at the whole picture .
