View Full Version : woke this morning to find our yard was white.....

with the blooms of the flowering wild grass thats growing there, so we start looking around,, and we have blooms on our azaleas, several bulbs are blooming, tulips will be bloomed out in next day or two,, and we have one juge volenteer jonquil blooming in one of our bulb boxes:) Ladies and Gentleman,,, i believe spring has sprung in the south:) willl try and get a few pics posted tonight:)

LOL! I looked out and saw white too, but it was frozen, and the actual temp was in the single digits (9)!

ok snuck out before church andsnapped a few shots:) most of the yard had already closed up for the evening, so i didnt get an overall of the expanse of the blooms,, but heres what i was able to get:)

no snow here in Tn it was 76 yesterday and is going to reach 60 today....It's almost Springtime folks "Go Play in the YARD"!!!! WooHoo :cool1:

Our last frost date (for planting) is mid to late May, so we have quite a wait before we begin to see buds and blooms. :)

Hurray for spring! So happy warm weather has reached you and you're blooming :flower: . Love the pics so springy :Pinkbounc !


I'm pooped and aching all over. Spent the whole day outside cutting down the beach grass around the pond. It was cold but I didn't care :sunny: the sun was out. Some bulbs are poking through. The ground is still hard and there's snow in shaded spots.
