As my screen name says, I'm Brenda, and I'm in the Air Force. I'm married to Doug (also in the Air Force), and we have 2 kids - Jessica, 7 and Michael, 5. I started rewards programs last October, doing only Beenz. I was able to get ALOT from them, but I didn't think I had time to do any others...WRONG!! Anyway, I always come here first thing in the morning, before I start work, and stop by throughout the day, as duty allows. We spent our honeymoon at WDW, staying at a Holiday Inn in Kissimmee, then spent a week at CBR when I was expecting Jessica. The whole family spent 10 days at DI in 1998, and Jessica and I went for a Mom/Daughter trip in Jan 99, staying at Shades of Green, thanks to my FL resident passes.
This doesn't include the 5-6/year trips I used to take when I lived in Florida.
We had lived in Montgomery, AL until last August, when we were transferred to Washington, DC. This transfer pretty much put the kibosh on our planned trip to WDW this year, but I'm hoping to make it next year. You folks here on the rewards board are helping tremendously in making this next trip possible, thanks to all the great tips I have gotten here. In fact, I have made more than $500.00 in WebCerts, and I'm about to make $50.00 more.
Sorry I have gone on for so long, but you guys really bring out the friendly in me!!
Brenda

Hi!
I'm Adele but I call myself Baileymouse because I have a cute little cat named Bailey. He has pointy ears and he's mouse gray, so that's where the nickname comes from. I live in Bayonne, NJ and I'm a librarian. I have been married for 16 years to DH and we have one son who is 15. I met DH when I was a senior in HS and he was a substitute teacher who had just graduated from NYU. Ironically, he just switched professions and has decided to become a teacher. He'll be teaching Spanish to elementary school children at a charter school in Jersey City. I joined the DIS because I was looking for more info. from other vacation club people. We joined with DM & DD. So that's it! I'm going to have to put together my vacation website with our favorite pictures. The rest our family consists of Bailey, two other cats named Fuzz Lightyear and Grayson, and a Scottie dog named Lucy.

Hi. I'm Sherry. I live in Lorain, OH and have been married to my dh for 11 years. We have 4 boys: Jonathan 11 (on the 14th), Jordan 9, Jared 7, and Julian 5. We also have a little tiger gray kitty named Tinkerbell.
I've been doing rewards for about 2 years now, I think. I started w/ Beenz & MyPoints. Signed up early on w/ FreeRide, but unfortunately, didn't really get into it, until last summer.
I am really hoping the rewards will pick up so I can earn as much as I can before our July trip to the World. :D
Mal, thanks for re-starting this kind of thread. I really loved the last one that we did. Well, let's see. I live just west of Toronto in Ontario Canada. I've been married to my dh for 3 years now. I guess you could call me an absolute Disney NUT!! As a child, my family took annual camping trips to Disney so I got to stay at Fort Wilderness many times (at no cost since my parents paid for it!!). I think my first time going to WDW was at age 2. Thankfully, I married a man who was also a Disney fan (though not as much as me :p )!! Ironically enough, our families met in Disney when we were both 8 years old!! This story was told repeatedly at our wedding!! So we thought it was completely appropriate to go to WDW for our honeymoon!
I came to the DIS in early February of this year. I was really wanting to go to Disney in the fall this year but finances were really preventing the trip. Someone pointed me to this board and I've barely missed a day here since! I started with beenz, milesource & mypoints and am now only doing milesource, mypoints & searchcactus. I figure I've made about $200 since February and I'm fairly willing to continue with these programs until the bitter end!
Coming to this board has been a wonderful blessing too. I feel like I now have friends all across North America! Thanks for making me feel right at home from the very beginning! :)

I guess it is my turn...:D
My screen name is Beaniejumper, but everyone calls me Beanie!! LOL...my real name is Tricia, I am married to John, who is a DJ...we have one son, Andrew, who turns 4 on Wednesday and one daughter, Savannah, who will be 2 on Sept. 1st...I live in upper NH and we have one cat, Prince Ali...
I found the DIS in May of 2000 while I was searching for information on Disney...I became a chat host in October of that year and then a Moderator in November...I love the DIS and have found it incredibly friendly and time consuming! lol...I started with Freeride and Start Sampling...moved on to Mypoints, beenz and milesource...have lost a few along the way, but I have made more then enough in webcerts and GC's that I am happy! I still do mypoints, milesource and go collect, everyday!
I have met many friends through the DIS and I am thankful for each of them...everyone is very nice here and I feel like a big ole family sometimes!! LOL

Well let's see, My name is Dana. I live in McMinnville TN, near the foot of the mountains west of Mal! I have a sweet 9 year old daughter, shelby.
I have been doing the programs for almost 2 years, with us all working exclusively for the trip since last august. I'm divorced, but have been with my current boy-friend (I hate that word, he's 40 years old, so he is not a boy LOL) for the past 7 years. I'm going to college to be a social worker, and will graduate in may with my AA, and then will start working while I am finishing up my BA part time.
My first 'rewards' board was at mycoupons. I still visit over there, and I do enjoy the family board, but all in all the board is just to moderated for my taste.. makes me feel like I am walking on eggshells. I found this board way back when Freeride would give us points for posting at we the shoppers message board. I had just started planning our trip (which I should add is going to be our first and it will be our daughter's 10th birthday gift). I posted on their disney board, and someone listed these boards.. I have been here every since. I lurked for a while and then jumped in head first:p

Well, my name is Joline, and I live in a town just East of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I currently have a DF that I have been dating for 5 years, and we are getting married next year ~ hopefully. He's getting cold feet right now. No, it won't be in WDW, but I would love it if it could be.
I started coming to these boards in January this year, and got hooked. I started doing the reward programs in March, and have accumulated a good stash. With the exchange, anything is great!! I currently do too many programs ~ it really intereferes with my schooling. I currently do milesource, mypoints, suzykats, primarewards, ATR, CR, MRS, funnymoney, ahmoola, liftagift, blink, treasuresurfing, and it pays to learn. I think that's it.
Anyways, I am a student in College, full time, and only work 2 shifts a week at the local Chili's restaurant in town. I will be studying forensic sciences in college, but right now am just completing the pre-requisits to get into the program ~ 4 years of pre-college courses!!
I have a beautiful long haired calico kitty (well, 4 year old cat) named Patches ~ I got her at a really hard time in my life, and she is so precious to me ~ is always there when I need her to be. No kids yet, want to wait for the schooling and job thing to be over with. DH just wants us to have no kids so we can spoil ourselves at Disneyworld once a year ~ he's so funny ~ he's starting to like Disney more than me ~ actually, he tends to like US better, but he still shares a passion for Disney with me. I am absolutely infatuated with Cinderella ~ if I die, and there is such thing as reincarnation, I want to be Cinderella. I have watched that movie about 100 times, and if you have ever seen the movie "Ever After", just imagine how many times I have seen that one.
Anyways, I am so happy to have met some of you. You are all very warm spirited and have always made me feel welcome, even with my stupid questions ~ and I ask a lot of those.
Have a great night everyone ~ time for bed!!!

Hello, My name is Nancy and I live right out side of Charleston South Carolina. I have been married to my dh 19 years and have two ds 14 and 11. I first found the dis in Oct. 2000 for info and did'nt even know what a reward was. Then it seemed like every time I joined one, it closed down.LOL. Any way I have lurked on this board forever but now I feel like I know you all so well. This is pretty much the only board I go to and I have got to have it several times a day. Oh I also have a puppy named Cleo who is half lab and half dachund.{picture that lol}:bounce::bounce:

As my screen name suggests, I am the mom of twins. My real name is Pam. My twins, Alex and Katie just turned 5. Boy, how time flies. I decided last November (after working 24 yrs) that I wanted to stay at home with my kids. It has been a challenge, but I am adjusting to all of the changes.
We live in N. Attleboro, Massachusetts which is about 30 miles south of Boston.
I have been married to Ted for 9 years. We actually met at work. A special note to dmslush, I went to school nights at Bryant College to earn a BS in Finance. It took me 10 years to the day I started, to earn my degree. The only semester I ever missed was when the twins were born. It is a long road, but you will never regret finishing your degree. You go girl!
I join the rewards boards back in January, hoping to earn some monies for our Disney trip. Well, of course, the rewards programs slowed down, but I have gotten $49 from Beenz, a $25 GC, almost ready to cash out at Mypoints, $10 DD from Disneyawards, $5 from Pinecone, $40 from Searchcactus, $40 from Netflip, and I am waiting on a $50 WC. Gee, when I write it all down - not so bad.
Like most others, this is the place I check first thing. First the Rewards Board, then right to the Budget Board. I have gotten a great rate for our upcoming trip from Mary's board, Mousesavers.
Have a great Disney day!!
Hi I'm Cora and I live in Franklin, MA...MomofTwins we're neighbors!!!!
I've been on the Dis since about when Pete started them. I was actually one of the original site sponsors back in '98. Wow time flies.
I have one son, 7 1/2 years and my dear hubby who tolerates me and wonders what I do on the computer all the time! I'm very active in my son's school (I've been asked if I'd like a cot put in! LOL). We went to WDW as a family for the time in Oct 98 and bought DVC while there. We're on our way to WDW next Fri (actually Universal then WDW).
I started doing rewards a couple years ago. Really only doing My Points and still doing it. Alot of the programs I have no tolerance for and I need instant gratification. I guess that's why I like Blink! I've learned alot from all of you.
Actually as I type this I'm waiting for Mr. UPS man to show up with my Connections tickets! How appropriate!

Hello, my name is Nicole and I started visiting the DIS boards right before my family's first WDW trip back in March. We had a great time and now I'm planning our next trip! Unfortunately, I didn't really get into the rewards programs until right before we left so I didn't have time to collect very much, but there is always the next time. ;)
I've been married to my husband, Mike, for 9 years and we have two children - Alex, who is 6 and Addy, who is 3. I work full-time doing secretarial work and the great thing about my job is that I can spend as much time on-line as I want so I get my reward programs done here & I normally take the weekends off. Currently, I am doing GoCollect, Blink, MyPoints, Milesource, EPoll, Start Sampling, NetFlip and Searchcactus.
I live in Norwalk, Ohio (Sherry, we are really close to each other!) where the heat has been unbearable these last few weeks. We have the advantage of living very close to Cedar Point, but nothing beats WDW!
It's been so nice to get to know all of you!

Hi My name is Jean- I have been married for 17yrs,3 kids:DS15,DS11,and DD9. I am a teacher's aide in a kindergarten,as well as working part-time in a dept store. I also teach English as a second language to adults through a volunteer program at our library, and I am one of the vice-chairs of our town Democratic Committee. I found these boards by accident while trying to get info for a trip to WDW. Mal-you made our trip to WDW last April one of the best family vacations we've ever taken with all your tips here! We basically ate for free the entire time (of course now I feel like an ungrateful lout for not visiting here more!). The people I have encountered here are the best!

Hello! My name is Mary and my family and I live in Central New York, approximately 30 miles north of Syracuse. My dh and I have been married for 15 years and have two dds, ages 8 and 11. I found these boards when a similar one on AOL was discontinued. I used to just read reports on trips and resorts but I became curious when I saw rewards and dove in! Mal, though we have not spoken, I feel as if I know you since I read all your posts. You are so helpful.
I began with Beenz back in March when we started to plan our Feb 2002 trip. That, along with Howhot, Bitcards, and Etour have all bitten the dust. I continue to do milesource, blink, creation rewards, suzykats, and my points though I sometimes ask myself why when the points accumulate so slowly. I don't do a lot of online shopping so that may be why.
I love these boards and come here 2 or 3 times a day as time permits. It is more difficult when I'm working ( I'm a high school English teacher) to find the time or energy at the end of a school day.
Thank you to all who contribute here. You are my sanity.

Hi, my name is Laurie. I've been married for 10 years to my DH Rick, and we have 2 children, Ricky 6 and Nicole (Nikki) 3. I found out about DIS in march, but didn't go to the reward board until the day after we returned from taking the kids to WDW for the first time in June. We're hoping to return in April (depending on how I do with the rewards). I visit this site first thing in the morning (plus a couple times a day, while the kids are busy).
I'd like to thank everyone for all the information I've received here.:D

Greetings from the great south shore of Long Island, New York.
I'm Debbie and I've been married to my sweetie Bill for 23 years (yes, I am older than dirt-where's my cane? Where's my walker?). We have three sons, Mike who's 21 and a senior at SUNY Binghamton, and Bob and Tim are fraternal twins 15 years old who are sophomores in high school.
I've been doing rewards for about 3 years and although many programs aren't around anymore, the five of us still do well enough to continue doing them. Rewards programs have been very good to us. In the past we've been able to have an almost free Christmas, free meals offsite every night for 7 nights for our last trip to WDW in 2000, free souvenirs and snacks at the parks with our Disney dollars-I even won a 7 day trip to Europe through the Alta Vista rewards program (God bless them-RIP).
I'm up very early every morning and this site is my homepage. The rewards board is always my first stop to see who else is up and already posting. Thanks to everyone who helps out by posting all the day's trivia answers, search words, max sightings, go collect polls etc. You sure make life easier for us all.
I love reading all about the people I've come to know through this board.
Who's next?

Hi, my name is Colleen and I live in Bloomington, IL. DH and I have been married almost 10 years. My first trip to WDW was our honeymoon. We went back twice before my son Matt was born. He'll be 6 on the 14th. We've taken him twice and our next trip is in October. We bought into DVC and that will be our first trip staying "home". I work 3 days a week.
I started doing rewards about 2 years ago, with Beenz. Since then, I've done a bunch of programs but now I pretty much stick to Milesource, Beenz, GoCollect and SurvivorStakes. I found the DIS about the same time, when I was researching DVC. I read this board (and a few others) almost every day but I don't post very often. I do appreciate the trivia answers and the news from everyone else!

Hi,
I'm Linda, another neighbor in Mass. I also started on the boards quite awhile ago while planning a vacation. I just started doing the rewards a few months back. I've been doing Milesource, Blink and My points. I've been very bored with Milesource lately and haven't done it in almost 2 weeks. I keep saying I'm going to go back to it, but then run out of time. I also started with a few mystery shopping companies from recommendations on this board, so I've kept busy. I waitress part time nights and work in a high school cafeteria during the school year. My next Disney trip won't be until next August. I have two sons 14 and 11. The last 3 trips we've stayed at Dixie Landings. I've always wanted to stay at the Contemporary and I'm saving the extra mystery shopping cash and all my survey cash from Pinecone and others just for the upcharge for the Contemporary. I keep thinking that the 14 yr. old who will be almost 16 next August might not want to go with his parents again, so I want to make it a special trip. I get lots of good ideas from this board, but I do tend to read more than post. Thanks for all the good ideas.

Hi everybody
I'm Diane from Central Maine.I've been married for 23 years and we have a 21 year old daughter who does not share our enthusiasm for Disney. She thinks we are nuts. My husband and I enjoy Disney World and the other Orlando Parks now more than ever.
I don't post very often but truly enjoy reading the forums when I have the time to do so. I started almost a year ago with SuzyKats and really enjoyed earning points for Disney Dollars. I just recently started to do Blink and Milesource.
Our last trip to the World was in Feb. of this year and our next trip is in December of this year.We are going the last two weeks during my school vacation. It will be our first time at Disney during the holiday season.
I'm also a dog trainer in the evenings and weekends for the local clubs and I'm down to two dogs and two cockatiels.

....and now a man's perspective.
Am I the only guy on this board who is going to intro himself? Maybe just the first.
Hi, my name is Dave and I'm a Disneyaholic.
group response: "Hi Dave"
I never really thought that I had a problem until I found myself complaining to the local store clerk..."What do you mean you don't have Mickey undies in size 42?". My wonderful wife (DWofjdads2) keeps on elbowing me at night. Not because I snore but because I keep humming "It's a Small World" in my sleep. All my hamburgers and pancakes look like mouse-ears. Every Halloween I play all the scarry tracks from the scarry rides for the kids to trick or treat to. Please, as I tell you this, realize that we have never been to WDW. I have been to DL but that was in 1977. Will my problem be cured or will it become more intense with our first visit?
Alright already.....We, DW of 13 years, 2 DS's 10 & 7 and a DD 4, live just south of Buffalo, NY. Home of wide right, no goals 1 and 2, great food (not just wings and roast beef on weck), great weather (no matter how much snow we get, we just shovel out of our way and get on with our day) and great people. The kids and I love to fish, so does my wife as long as she doesn't have to touch anything "icky"and we love to spend as much time as possible doing outdoors stuff.
Most importantly...I don't mind typing, usually, or talking. Boy, I bet that surprised alot of folks!!! Lots and lots more about me...I am a complex guy....but I waste valuable space.

My name is Jen and I've been on the DIS for a loooooong time.....still wear my DIS Tshirt every now and then too. I've been married almost 13 years and have 2 sons....8 & 11 years old. We live in northern IN among several lakes. Our whole family is involved in skiing and scouts so that keeps us pretty busy year round.
Right now I'm doin lots of rewards.....Milesource, Blink. Start Sampling, Creation, Millers, SuzyKats, All Things, and MyPoints. ohhhh and etour till the 17th then I'll convert my points there to Qool. Hopefully I'll have my stock of certificates built back up by February-March when we are thinking about going to FL again. We've been to WDW as a family 3 times so far and are *shivering when I say this* thinking about only doing WDW 1-2 days this trip.

Hey Everybody,
My name is Truby (no, I didn’t spell it wrong). It’s 9:00 PM on a muggy Friday night in Pittsburgh, and I’m still at work. Trust me, I’m not doing any work, just doing my reward programs (please don’t tell my DH of 14 years - he thinks I’m still working). I’ve been visiting the boards for about three months now. I started when I was planning this year’s trip to WDW. I have a DS who just turned 6. Last year was his first trip to WDW (stayed on-site for the first time at Caribbean Beach). DH and I went there on our honeymoon and a few year’s later. DH was not all too excited about WDW until last year. He and DS loved it. DH was the one who encouraged me to plan this year’s trip. We are going in September and are staying at the Boardwalk Villas (purchased someone else’s points in a timeshare). Besides WDW, I enjoy playing with my DS, golf, ice hockey, golf, hockey, golf, eating out, golf, going to our cottage in the woods, and golf. I work way to much (but still have time for golf) and can’t wait for vacation. I used to do more rewards but right now I’m only doing Milesource, Blink. Net Flip, Silverclicks, and MyPoints. I’ve only cashed out points once – I have a long way to go.
I would like to thank everyone who posts the milesource trivia, netflip words, search cactus words, and Max whereabouts. That is such a great help and time saver.

Hi everyone!
Well after a week MIA it is nice to come back and read everyone's introductions!
My name is Shannon and I live in Langley, British Columbia (about 30 minutes outside of Vancouver) with my DH of 9 yrs. and our three kids (DD 7, DS 5 and DD 1) our dog and two cats. My husband is a software developer for a local company and in his spare time and mine (when I am not being a mom) we also have our own consulting company. Between the kids and running our own business I am very busy....add my addiction (yes I think addiction is the right word ;) ) to rewards programs and spare time is a thing of the past! Right now I do 18 rewards programs including Netflip, Searchcactus, Suzykats, Gremlor's World, Prima Rewards, ATR, CR, MRS, Milesource...and the list goes on  It doesn't take me too long each day as I have doing multi programs down to a science. We are heading to WDW for the first time this fall where will attend DIScon (staying at the BC) and then take a cruise on the Wonder and then spend a few more days at the AKL. Thanks to rewards programs we will have extra spending money on this trip!
I found the DIS from a link on its sister site Laughingplace.com last year and it has been my "home" ever since. Thanks to you wonderful people on the rewards board I learned all about how I could make extra money for our Disney trips (we go to Disneyland every year) and I love visiting with you all every day.

Hi all my name is Sherrie and I too am a Disney addict!
I'm 28 years old and I live in Keyport, New Jersey. I've been married for 3 years to a wonderful man named Paul.We have a 2 and 1/2 year old son named Sean (you do the math, LOL........ can you say shotgun!!! HAHAHAH)
Hm.........well since my screenname is a little odd, i'll tell the story behind that one too. My mum's family is from Wales (she was the first one born here in the United States) and Rhiannon is a popular name there. Also it was a famous Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac song and I am a big fan of theirs too.
I just found the dis back in january of this year when i was looking for info on a upcoming trip to WDW in September. I am on mostly the Resorts Board and here on the Rewards board, but I can sometimes be found on restaurants and disney for families.
Thanks Mal for starting this thread, as Dan Murphy says in his byline.....

who doesn't post much, and I don't get much time to visit the board or even do much in the way of rewards programs anymore, but I'm doing some research to figure out what everyone's doing now, since my next trip is coming up in June 2002.
My name is Rhonda(33), married to Matt (34) for almost 13 years now. We have 2 wonderful children, DS Sean (14) and DD Danielle (11). I work as an Instructional Aide for an autistic boy who is now entering 4th grade.
I have been "interested" in Disney since childhood, however I never actually made it until late Oct 1999 to WDW. Planned (in my dreams) many trips before then, but it just never materialized. The rewards programs helped us to afford our first & second (Jan 2001) trips, and now we are planning our 3rd visit!!!
:pinkbounc
I hope to be frequenting this board more often now that I am ready to get back into rewards after going through a burnout-recovery period! However, I will most likely still remain a lurker except for the many, many questions I have a tendency to ask.
Thanks for offering this thread, Mal, it's been wonderful to read about so many others with a common interest!

Hi
I'm Karen, and let us not talk about being older than dirt. I am past 50, but I am grateful for those years.
I've been married for 31 (32 very soon) years. He is a wonderful bear of a man. Think Grizzly Adams. We have 2 DD and 2 DS. (ages 27,25,19 and 12)
I teach geometry and algebra. With back to school work, I have really slacked off on rewards. I will be snowed under for several weeks now.
I do check in daily to make sure there isn't something I need to know.
The rewards helped out greatly last Christmas. They have also given me GC that I have given my children to the Gap and Old Navy for their birthdays.
Having just finished educating two in college, with one still in college, and youngest in parochial school, this little bit helps.
Of course, each day I check the contest thread. As a math teacher, I am aware of the odds of winning. But, if you never enter you never win.

OK, My turn!
I am Karen (31), married to DH (35) for 9 1/2 years and we have a 4 1/2 yo DS. Last Sept. was our first trip ever to WDW & we are soooooo looking forward to our second trip this Sept. We are taking along my DM who will be 65 yo later this year & has never been to WDW or even to FL!
I run a licensed daycare in my home (took loads of time off this summer though-lol) & DH works in the forensic field. We live in Rochester, NY-home of not so much snow as Buffalo (LOL Dave & Jackie!) , Kodak and tons of great towns and villages. DS is an avid hockey player & will be starting to play on a team this fall. He is a great ice-skater & at 4 1/2 can skate the pants off most people--can you spell p-r-o-u-d m-o-m?
Starting doing rewards in late December and have DH & DM doing them as well, we have accumulated some nice GC's and D$ (thru webbies) to spend on our trip. I think I started checking out the DIS right before our last trip, and have been here ever since. I keep up the September list thread over on the resorts board & am counting the hours until we leave.

Howdy All -
I'm Lauren from Richmond, VA (12 hour ride to Orlando from here - done that once, flown the rest). I have been married for 10 years & have 2 DS (7, & almost 4). We've been to WDW twice as a family, stayed at Dixie Landings both times & loved it. My youngest went for his first trip when he was only 9 months old, so he's off to a good start. We are clicking away now for our next trip (June 2002 - Polynesian). My mom always goes with us & I have managed to recruit my brother, sister-in-law, & niece for our next trip.
My husband & I both work for the local school system, but neither of us are a teacher. He is a counselor & I'm an occupational therapist. Since pay is not much we need all the help we can get with financing these trips & thus that is how we ended up here (only been here a few months, but I'm addicted to this site). The DIS is great & all of you are such wonderful people.
As far as rewards programs go, I only do milesource right now. Not much time with two active boys!
The name Pink Flamingo?!? - not really sure how I got that. Seems that all the guys in the family had nick names for each other & I somehow came up with this for myself.
Well, guess that's enough for now. Have a great day everyone!

I'm Lisa. I live in beautiful Colorado Springs! I have been married to DH for 16 years & we have 2 beautiful DD ages 9 1/2 & 5 1/2. I am a nurse & DH is in the electronics field.
I discovered these boards almost a year ago & spend most of my time on the Rewards Board. Our first ever trip to WDW was December 2000 & we are hoping to return some time next year or in 2003.
I am an avid Colorado Avalanche & Denver Bronco fan & also spend a great deal of time being a "soccer mom", with both DD playing on separate teams (lot's of running, but I love it!)
Right now, I do MyPoints, Blink, Milesource, & Go Collect. I have recently given up on Suzykats--too darn slow!
Okay, who's next?
Wow! What a great thread, Mal! A little about me: I'm a 20 (soon to turn 21) year old full time college student, and a huge Disney nut! I graduate from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in the spring, and hope to be working in WDW by next spring. I'm single (but looking!), with only one "baby," an eight-year-old black labrador/husky mix named Denny. I nanny for a 10-year-old neighbor who I often refer to as my "little sister." I've been watching her since she was in preschool, so her and I have become very close!
I've been with the DIS for ages (since June 1998), became a chat host that August and a moderator the following February. Wow, how much the DIS has grown in the last three years! My Disney addiction has only grown, and thanks to all of you, the rewards programs have really helped me afford my trips! What started as an annual trip to "The World" is now up to 3 per year, and growing!
Who's next?
Hello, my name is Kelli. I was beginning to think I was the only one from the west here (Hi lisalynn). I found the DIS in May of last year, and located the Rewards board after my return from our trip to the World in June. I am mostly a lurker, only occasionally posting. I was actually off-line (horrible, huh?) for awhile due to a Qwest problem, but now I'm back. I have accumulated about $400 of cash, DDs and GF since I started. I have slacked off a little this summer, but I am back at it. My DH of 21 years and I are going for our first "no kids" trip in September. Both DD's are in college this year, so they must study. Bummer for them, but I'm looking forward to a romantic trip. I am a legal secretary, and I work for one attorney. It's just her and I in the office, so it's really great. I am totally addicted to The DIS, and all things Disney. My family just grins and bears it. My DDs think it is so silly to see a 40 y/o woman wearing a shirt with Pooh on it. They just don't understand. I love doing rewards (right now just milesource and mypoints), and I love getting to know all the people that post here regularly. I'll try to post more often.
As for my screen name? Well, when my DH was a little boy, he used to read Tom Corbett, space cadet books. He began calling me TC shortly after we were married, when my space cadet tendencies began to surface. I may be spacey, but I'm cute. :D

Hi everyone!
Guess it's time for me to take my turn. As you see by my signature, my real name is Nancy. I am a "mature" newlywed, soon to celebrate our 1st anniversary at WDW. DH, Barry, and I were married last Sept. at Disneyland in an intimate Disney wedding. DH has 2 daughters, 24 y.o. twins from his previous marriage who are out on their own. We have 3 cats, max, Cougar, and Button who run our lives, or at least think they do!
We love Disney (of course), rollercoasters, and bowling (where DH is the skill & I am the handicap LOL). Neither of us had ever been to Disney before we got together 6 yrs. ago, so we're making up for lost time by going as often as we can now! We're just a couple of big kids at heart! :D
I started doing rewards after our trip to WDW last Dec. and so far have gotten about $325.00 towards our next trip in webbies, DD's, and restaurant GC's. I've also met some really wonderful people here on the DIS and have evn had the priveledge of meeting some of you in person.
So, who else here will be going to DIS CON? What do you think of having a Rewards Board Meet? I'd love to be able to put faces to some more of the names I've come to know here. We will be at the World 11/24 to 12/1. Send me a PM if you're interested. :D
WOW! I just noticed that this is my 500th post! I'm glad to have reached that milestone here on the rewards board, since this is what I consider to be my home here on the DIS! :D

hi everyone!! nice to meet all of you... i thought i checked this board this weekend for updates but guess i must have missed this thread. :p
anyway, on the DIS and some other online communities i'm known as disneyberry ;)
the story behind that is somehow i ended up with the nickname "berry" in real life, i can't even explain how that happened, hehe.
right now i live in NJ literally right outside the border of NYC ( shhh... "New Yorkers" are not proud to admit they aren't technically in NYC anymore :p ) prior to this, i did spend over 4 years living right in the middle of all the action in downtown manhattan.
i grew up the suburbs of Boston, MA though... so sometimes i still have a tendency to want to answer "Boston" to the question, "where are you from?"
i'm not married (yet) even though my bf of 5+ years and i practically act like we're an old married couple (we're still babies... in our early 20s). he has been getting irritated with my Disney obsession lately, despite the fact that he was once a Disney fanatic years ago. i think what it is is that he's claimed that he's "grown up". of course, that doesn't mean that we don't still go on at least 2 trips to WDW a year. WDW is one of the easiest places to vacation, especially if you've been a regular. it's practically a second "home".
as for my profession, i've been incredibly confused on that one of late.
i currently work in the IT industry... you know... just another suit in bureaucratic Corporate America.
i'm extremely unhappy with my career, despite the fact that i have not been laid off yet in this horrible economy, and i have a stable, well-paying job.
not much is worse than staying in a job that makes you unhappy just because you want to have some sort of "stability" in this economy. i've been tossing around the idea of leaving my job this fall, and going back to school to prepare for a career in a completely different industry... like architecture, or animation. (i dream on... )
oh and just another random tidbit... i'm considering adopting a cat or kitten :D i have never had a "real" pet (goldfish only as a child) in my life though, so i have been trying to do research on what it's like to have a cat and care for it properly.
anyway, ttyl!

Guess it is time for me to post. I am from Charleston, South Carolina. (Not too far from Moncks Corner - MrsDash!) I have been doing rewards for about two years now. Started when they were alot more profitable... Magic Bus, MyPoints, etc... but hey, they are still good sometimes. About all I do now are MyPoints and various coupons and test drives. I have been on DIS since late 1999, but spend most of my time on the collectibles board. That is why I need the rewards - to finance my purchases! When we went to WDW last year in June, I had accumulated over $300 in gift certificates to Marriott, Rain Forest Cafe and other places to use on the trip. Man that helped alot!

Hello Everybody!
My name is Wanda, (gasp!) 40 years YOUNG, married to dh for 6 years. (He's 10 years YOUNGER and that does keep me young!!!)
We live in central Missouri in a rural area on a farm!
I've always loved Disney anything, but my Mom gave me a Mickey trinket (I can't even remeber what it was) and that flamed my love into an obsession.
I've since "inflamed" my dh and this summer did my best to "inflame" 2 of my sisters and their families.
Found the DIS last summer when we were trying to plan LAST years vacation! I immediately fell in love with this site.
Started rewards programs last fall in order to pay for this summer 's trip. Originally, dh and I were going to take our 2 nephews and 2 nieces and thus the rewards would help defray the costs. Then, my 2 ds and bils wanted to tag along and I knew that my rewards would not help defray anything for 10 people! (Nope, couldn't convince them to join the reward bus, even though they both have cable high-speed internet access and I'm stuck in the dark ages!)
So, my rewards will help with Xmas. This will really help because I was laid-off last January. My job went "south of the border", LOL! I've since stayed home w/ my Dad who is unable to care for himself.
Since I've lost my job and my "at work" support system you guys have been my lifeline. I'm not a prolific poster but I am a faithful lurker!
I am now only doing milesource and mypoints and still need about 40 cents more to cash out of Searchcactus. I am going through MAJOR rewards burnout right now and am only doing the programs on a catch as catch can basis.
*Thankyou, Thankyou* to everyone who posts their finds, contests, trivia answers and answers all the questions on this board!

I go by, Jen, Jenny or Jenifer and live in beautiful Lexington, Kentucky.
Get a load of this gang..........
I quit school in the eighth grade & was married at 14 (boy next door got me in trouble), gave birth to my only child (Jessica) at 15, was divorced at 19, never remarried, got my GED (without GED classes & no high school) went on to college & got associate accounting degree. I never drew the first welfare check or foodstamps. (Back then, folks had too much pride for such.) I always either worked two jobs or worked and went to school. I became grandmother to beautiful granddaughter (Autumn Skye) when I was 36. I worked in restaurant management for years until I got sick of the hours, then office management for construction companies, now I work in the finance department for local Girl Scout Council. I'll be 43 Thursday, & feel like I've done d#$n near everything there is to do.
Other than the DIS I'm a wanna be novelist!
Now, lets see someone top that!

Hi everyone,
I haven't been a member here too long, but love to linger around these boards.
I have been married to my wonderful DH for 8 years, I have a 10 year old DD that I get my handle from. She is a Figure Skater and she skates Syncronized Skating as well as Free Style. All of our time and energy is wrapped in her skating. We love to watch her skate and follow her around the country on her many travels, but even we need a break from all this.
All 3 of us have been Disney Nuts since day 1. My DD has been raised from infancy to love all things Disney. We have every movie ever made by the Mouse and we watch them all the time. We are even starting to buy the DVD's so the movies can stay permently in the van and the DVD's will be for the house.
I made about 150.00 from various rewards programs since Feb. and I was very happy about that. I have enjoyed reading everyones posts. When my grandmother died in October I needed a place to escape from my grief. This is were I found!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you enough how much coming to these boards and reading about vacations, tips, resorts, rewards and budget ideas has helped me cope with her loss.
Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!

Hello, I knew that I liked you guys, but now I know why. We have so much in common.
Coll0610, we are virtually neighbors! I live in Normal, IL. We moved here from Columbus, IN 2 1/2 years ago.
I have twins like so many of you do. My twins are a boy & girl who are now 7 years old. I also have an older daughter (12) and another son (10).
My oldest daughter figure skates. And I can relate to Syncsk8mom's life. Our life does revolve a lot around skating and competitions.
I've been married for 19 years to DH, Kris. We went to DW for our honeymoon and didn't return until 11 years later. Now, we're hooked. Sadly, the best we can do is a trip every two years.
I don't work outside the home - yet. I'm hoping to find a part-time job this fall after the kids go back to school. This job will mean I will definitely get to go to DW next year!!!!
People also make fun of me about loving Disney and doing the rewards thing. But I've earned a lot of WC thru the rewards. I also earned new luggage, 3 skooters (Christmas presents), and dining certificates. I've been faithfully doing Milesource, Mypoints, Blink, SearchCactus, and Netflip. I miss Freeride - that is how I earned most of my rewards.
Thank all of you for all your help and guidance. I truly appreciate this board. I think it is the best.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed that many people who have been reading this board have recently decided to start posting.
I've been encouraged by their kind remarks about what a nice community we have here on the rewards board. I'm hoping that by reading this post they'll get to know us all a little better and will continue to keep posting now that they have come out of "lurker mode." LOL

Hi All! What a wonderful way to get to know everyone! I am Kim. My dh and I have been married for 15 1/5 years, and live in North East, PA (by Erie). We are surrounded by 3 ds: Brady, 15, Matt 12, Chad 10, and one dd: Kaelin 8 :pinkbounc Dh is a dentist, and I work at the office doing bookkeeping just to stay sane (at least maintain a sane bone) the children are all on traveling soccer teams, so we are always on the run. And Dd just start Gymnastics...atleast she will have a reason for swing from the chandalier...
We are also the proud parents of 3 Chocolate Labs: Chaka, Bailey and Chance. And one cat: Irish
I found these boards last December while researching our DIS trip in April. Everyone was such a great help, although all I did is lurk and learn...and ask DUMB questions...you all made our trip so much better!
As for rewards...If I list them they will close...lol. No, really I started out with Beenz and My Points. I now am doing MS, CR, NetFlip, SC, FreeRide, Sportsline, Blink, Memolink, RewardsTV,
...hold on checking my favorites...E-Poll, plucking away at Bit Cards, Giant Rewards (ating for reservations to credit before cashing out, Iwon, It PayTo Learn, TreasureSurfing...
and LOTS of survey sites! And always looking for that great deal or freebie!
Now if I posted all the sites that I have joined and been this {} close to cashing out that have closed....I would be typing all day! The one that really got me was Deltaclick they owed me over $100. Oh well, it is great while it lasts.
I had to laugh about the comment made in an earlier post... I wish I had a cot in here! I am up at 6 and to bed at 1, and in between the work and Mom stuff...squeezing in time for all of these! But I absolutely LOVE going to the mail box! Half the time the kids beat me there, as they know that there is almost always some type of freebie...
I really have to tell you how great this is to be able to meet everyone...I am on alot of other boards and try to keep up on posts if I find a good one...I promise to share with you all too!!!

Hi everybody!
My name is Melissa
Screen name comes from my cat Macie and our last name begins with a C hence maciec
I live with my husband Brian in Bishopville, Maryland. We both work in Ocean City which is a resort town. We have a beautiful 1yoa daughter Caroline Elizabeth.
We are going to Disney 12/2-12/9 and staying off-site for the first time EVER at Vistana Resort. I hope that it is worth the money we are saving. We are going with my parents. This will be their first time ever to Disney. Would you believe all that they want to do is golf???? They said that maybe a few days they would park hop with us.
Currently I participate in Milesource and RTV. Just started back up with Milesource since I found this board (don't remember how) and just started RTV .. never knew it existed.
I love all of these boards! Everyone who is planning to go to Disney should definitely check it out. I can't believe the information that I am continuing to learn each time I come here.

My name is Jennifer and have been married to my husband Bruce for 5 years. We have a wonderful little girl named Abbie who is 2 years old. We live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Salisbury. I took Bruce to Disneyworld for his first trip during the 25th Anniversary celebration and stayed at WL. We went back with Abbie for her 2nd birthday in May with my mother and father and sister also at WL. We are currently saving up for a December 2002 trip to stay at GF. I can't wait to see all the Christmas decorations. I started doing rewards before our trip last May and really saved alot. I went to Southeastern Academy in Kissimmee for travel school many years ago and fell in love with Disney. I worked for United Airlines and as a travel agent for awhile. I now work in our local hospital. We have four dogs and a cat and LOVE Disney!!!

Hi All, I am new to this board, just this week, usually go to mycoupons. My name is Lani, I live in St. Joseph, Michigan about 100 miles from Chicago, Il. Live about 15 minutes from Beautiful Lake Michigan, although I must admit don't go there often, (we have a built in pool in our backyard). I only have 2 right now that I take care of, taking a breadk after having a full house for the summer, dh keeps asking me when I am going to take on more, my reply, When you decide to stay home and help care for them. LOL
It was great reading the previous posts.

Hi all, I haven't taken time to read this thread yet, but I will.....promise.
My name is Cindy, I am a full time married working mom of two kids 13mos apart and both still in diapers and one dog who was my first kid. I'm a busy momma :) We live in North Texas.
I spend my time online doing rewards programs, deal hunting, and chatting with other parents. My life really doesn't afford for much social time, so this, as sad as it may be is it.....my life LOL. I am a regular only at two other sites one of which is a parenting site and another is for shopping & couponing. I've become a serious couponer since realizing the bargains there are to be had :)
We are definately a Disney family, so besides this site having such a wonderful rewards board, it seems there are many boards I could benefit from here. Both my kids were Pooh for their first Halloween, and I'm hoping this year my daughter will be Snow White and my son will be Woody. If not we'll go for a princess and a football player LOL.
It's really great to meet you all, and I'm so relieved nobody is still angry with me for my first post. I actually lost sleep over it I felt so bad. :( BUT...I hope in time you all will realize I am a nice, level headed person who(hopefully) has a lot to contribute!

Hello everybody!
My name is Sheila and I'm a Disney addict. LOL. I'm a westcoaster out in Southern California and am a proud possessor of a Disneyland annual passport. I get to the Park about twice a month (and believe me I don't take it for granted). I've been to WDW four times and will be leaving for my fifth trip in a week and a half. Yay!
Been doing the rewards programs for about 9-10 months. It seems like I started doing the programs just as they all shut down one by one. I'm still sticking with blink and SearchCactus (Netflip is on probation with me, if you know what I mean). Gave up on Milesource and others after cashing out. So far I've been able to accumulate three GC's to Rainforest Cafe for my upcoming trip, a Footlocker GC for walking shoes, a Target GC for those little extras plus other little prizes and whatnot. Not much, but it helps! :)
I'm a forty-something who works in computer software design by day and am a musician at night. Hence, my screenname of "countrymile" which came from a Top 40 country music band I used to have.
I used to be very active on the Usenet boards alt.disney.disneyland and rec.arts.disney.parks but now pretty much post only here and on other Disney website message boards.
So glad to get a chance to introduce myself!

Hi, my name is Heather and I have been on this board since last month. I have learned so much from all of you - it's great to feel so welcomed! :)
I am currently an Accounting/Business Management student at U of A here in Tucson, AZ. I grew up in the Phoenix suburbs, and I would like to move back there soon. I have been married to my DH for almost three years, and it has been wonderful! We started dating when I was still in high school (he was in his first year of college), so we are almost high school sweethearts. The biggest (or smallest, depending on how you look at it :D ) thing in our lives right now is that we are expecting our first baby January 29th. I will graduate in December, so that was good timing - LOL! My DH is a Mechanical Engineering student and will graduate in May, so after that, we will probably move somewhere else, hopefully back to Phoenix where we're from.
I am the big Disney fanatic in our home - I cannot wait to visit WDW again. I have been twice with my family when I was younger, but I would love to experience it as an adult. Since my husband and I are both students, I am doing rewards to get us to WDW faster. I currently do Blink, Milesource, Searchcactus, MyPoints, and Memolink. I signed up with Epoll, but haven't heard from them yet.
This is a great thread - what a wonderful way to meet friends! :p

My name is Mary, I am a travel agent, thus my screenname "Travelgoddes".
I have been married to my DH for 10 yrs. We have no kids but we do have 1
very spoiled black Lab/Rott mix dog named Shadow. We are booked for our second
disney trip coming up October 20-27. It's our first time staying at the Contemporary.
We are going to MNSSHP on the 21st, and it's our first time attending the Food and Wine
festival.
I have lurked around on several other disney boards, but in my opinion, this is the best one.
I just began all this reward stuff in May. I am involed with Silverslicks,MyPoints,Milesource,
Suzykats,Allthingsrewarded,Memolink. I just received my first reward from Milesource, I turned
it into a 25 Rainforest Cafe GC. I just reached my first cashout points with Netflip and Searchcactus, Oh I almost forgot about Sklif, I just cashed out with them for a 25.00 super
certificate. This is all very time consuming for me. I ususally do my searches in the morning
before work, then I just squeeze the others in during work when I can find time.
We have been saving DD's all year, I can't believe we are down to 23 days, "WOOHOO"
It's very nice meeting you all!!

Well, I'm Dee, and I'm a newbie. Apparently I am the oldest here....I have a grandaughter who is as old as most of the members' children LOL! She's 13, I have raised her from birth, and she is my heart. It has been years since I went to Disney...my kids were teens the last time I was there, and it was Disneyland in Anaheim. Now I'm working on getting the grandaughter there, but it was a lot easier when I was working....I'm a medically retired R.N. and Social Security doesn't cover extras so I am doing rewards programs to fill the voids LOL! I found this board from a reference on another board, and geez, I'm glad I did! Our home now, after many years on the left coast, is southern Indiana. There's me, Mimi, my grandaughter, a Min Pin named Sassy, a hound named Ben, and four cats LOL! Good thing I have a big house!
Hi all. My name is Laurie and I'm fairly new to these boards. I just started posting recently. I've been married to my DH for almost 8 years and I am a SAHM to 2 DS, Nicolas who will be 5 next month and Zachary who will be 2 in Nov. Living 2.5 hours south of Disney has its advantages, but normally we do weekend trips. We have a seasonal pass which is great and we are going
Nov 9-11 to AKL again, this time savannah view. I just started doing reward programs in June but I really wish I would have known about them sooner as these really help with the expenses. I do Blink, milesource, mypoints, rewardtv and some of the survey sites. I love coming to these boards and hope I can help some of you with my little posts as much as you all have helped me get into the swing of things. It's great getting to know all of you.
Have a great day
Laurie

I guess after posting so much I'd better tell ya'll who I am :-). My name is Angela and I live in North Carolina with my DH of 13 years and my adorable Disney brainwashed children (with a mom like me Warner Bros didn't stand a chance) my DS who is 10 going on 40 and my DD, 3 1/2 who thinks she's a moviestar gymnist singer and dancer all in one :-). I've been a Disney fan as long as I can remember. I grew up in CA where we would go to Disneyland a lot. I remember the individual ticket booklets for the rides. Thankfully my hubby is very tollerant of my affection for Disneyworld and when the opportunity came, we became DVC members. I wish I would've known more about it sooner.
I was introduced to these boards by a penpal who was sending me links to places to get more Disneyland info ~ I had wanted to to to 3 Disneyparks in one year. I made two Disneyland Paris and WDW, but never made it out to CA ~ still trying to plan that one. I lurked for awhile under another name but never really got into the boards until a couple of months ago when time came to start thinking about Disneyworld again for this year. Then I found these rewards boards and I've been hooked :-). I thank all of you who have been so patient with my endless questions. It's been a lot of fun posting here and reading.

Well this is my first post ever, on any sight, so here goes. (Hope I am doing this right) My name is Natalie, I am a twenty-year-old college senior at Ohio University. I have loved Disney since I can remember. I have got to go there four times, once with my grandparents, once with my parents and sister, and twice with my high school band (thank God for band trips)!! I am engaged to a wonderful man and can't wait until we have kids and can take them to Disney World!! (Although I have to add that the kids are to come at a much later point in time!) I think that I am going to go back to Disney with my high school band next time they go, only this time as a chaperon!
I have been doing rewards for about a year and a half and was led to this board by my best friend's mom. (HI, if your reading this!) I hope to get into the swing of things and become an active member of this board, although there willbe times that I won't be able to due to school. Oh and if any one could tell me how to set up a neat signature with a picture and everything I would greatly appreciate it!!

Hi - My name is Gilda and as my log in name implies, I love Disney. I work part-time doing secretarial and accounting. I have been married for 14 years and have a 12 year old son. They both love Disney. Hubby will be very glad to know about this board. He loves to check out what's going on at Disney and get different tips. We live in Maine.
I have been a member of this board for only a week. I like what I see so far. I came across this board through My Coupons - someone had posted the link to get the answers to Rewards TV.
Love doing rewards programs. I especially like to do those that offer Web Certificates. I use the Web Certificates to buy Disney Dollars. We went to Disney this past August. (Yes August LOL) We had earned $1,300 in Disney Dollars, 2 gift certificates of $25 each to eat at Planet Hollywood, and $50 gc to eat at Rainforest Cafe.
Most of that was earned through Freeride, Beenz, Funnymoney, and My Points. One of my favorite programs was Freeride. Both hubby and I did it. If I was busy doing something, my son would click on the BH. Right now I'm doing My Points, Milesource (saving for Christmas), Memolink (more Christmas), Funnymoney, Blink, Search Cactus. I had been doing Millers, CR and ATR until I got a virus at Millers this week. Will stay away from those for a bit.
This thread is a really good idea. It helps to meet people with the same interests. Looking forward to sharing hints and tips with all of you

I am a 40 year old total disney nut. Started with these boards last year to work on my trip to Disney last December. I am married to a wonderful woman who accepted my 3 kids from my previous marriage. My DS are 15, 14, and 11 years old. Must need my head examined because my DW is expecting our first baby in March 11, 2002. Oh I live in Toledo, Ohio home of the famous Toledo Mud Hens who are moving in to a beautiful ball park for next season. It is hard being married to someone who is not as crazy as Disney as I am. She did enjoy epcot last year but did not like the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. The magic kingdom was mickey christmas party and it was just too packed to enjoy. So maybe we can go when the baby gets older in 3 or 4 years and she can enjoy it. Was able to talk my DW in buying 10 shares of Disney stock since it is so low.

Hi, I am Sue. As my name states I am WDWMom. We have been going to WDW for 7 years now, at about 12 trips. If you could see my family room you would really understand my name. Everything is Disney. I told my DH we had to contain the Disney stuff to the family room where only our family would see it. Other think we are nuts!!!
I have been married for 13 years, and have one DD and two DS's. Our kids nicknames are Skinny Minnie, Sticky Mickey (they are both very thin) and Jumbo Dumbo. My youngest DS is not fat, just not skinny like his sibs. Dumbo is his favorite character so he likes the nickname.
I started here at the rewards site after starting on the DVC. (We are members) I was sick of all the bickering going on there, so I moved around and started doing rewards. I only do Milesource and Mypoints now. Did Beenz for a while. In a year's time I have gotten about $50 in gift certs through these programs. We are going to WDW in March and I hope to have about $100 through milesource using both my name and DH.
I love you guys here. I do not post much, but you all seem to be wonderful and look out for each other. Keep up the great work.

Sue,
I for one would love to see your family room. Could you post a picture of it?
I have some Disney items but they are spread out around the house. I would love to do a Disney theme room.

My name is Trish (I am Jdads2 sister). I'm pretty new at this posting thing. I like Dave haven't been to WDW before and our first trip is Oct.25-31. Well, here goes. Our family-DHof 2 years and DS 11 1/2. We live in Rocky Mount, NC recently moved from south of Buffalo, NY. The weather here is great (better than NY--no 2 feet of snow in Nov.TeeHee) I'm a poohaholic and am very afraid I may pass out from excitement upon seeing the bear himself. Thanx for all your help everyone. You have helped greatly.

Hi! My name is Julie and I am married to my husband of 7 years, Todd. We have one son who will be 2 in Nov., Clayton David. We live in Holland, MI -- home of the "famous" Tulip Time Festival, lately known as the Stem Festival ! :) I work in a public library in a neighboring town, Zeeland, part-time as Library Assistant / Children's Librarian.
I am fairly new to the boards. I lurked for a few months before I actually registered in September. I was introduced to these boards by my sister-in-law, Tiggerish. I come to the Rewards board almost every day. I also check out the community board and occasionally the resorts board. I really appreciate all the great tips I find here. I do Milesource, MyPoints, and Memolink.
I am eagerly anticipating our trip to Disney in November of 2002. We (me, DH, and DS) are going with my folks and my sister-in-law. I can't wait! This will be the first time in a long time that I have stayed on site. My DH and I have done several day trips to WDW over the past 10 years because my in-laws live about 2 hours from Orlando during the Winter. When I was in high school, my parents, sister, and I stayed at the GF over Christmas. It was beautiful -- but very cold! It was actually colder in FL than in Michigan, believe it or not. Nonetheless, we had a marvelous time. This time we are taking a less expensive route and staying at POR in the Bayou (for the trundle bed). We will be celebrating my son's 3rd birthday while we are down there.
Thanks for all the great tips and posts! I really enjoy getting to know everyone through these boards.

Hello everyone! I'm Valerie (me), jrr is my 8 year old Nephew who I am taking on a surprise trip to WDW in January 2002.
As my profile suugest "I am crazy". I am also single with no kids of my own and have never spent "real quality time with no authority figure present " with my nephew...I think we are going to have a ball:D :D :D
Jrr and I both live in Western PA about 1 1/2 hours apart. He really is a good kid who has been thru some tough times, but my Brother has done a pretty good job of keeping him on the straight and narrow. On the other hand "the Grandpap" (I guess that makes him a DG) and Auntie Val (makes me a DA) spoil him rotten:D :D :D
I work full time as a floral designer at an "event florist" in Pittsburgh, PA. We do alot of weddings, parties, social events, and "floral stuff". Some days the hours are r e a l long....but, when I can keep my eyes open long enough I always try to log-on and see what you guys are up to!
When I found this site I jumped right into this rewarding stuff. You see I also have this shopping problem that is centered around finding the best deals. So right away I signed up for Milescourse, Mypoints, Silverclicks, Suzykats, and something else...I then quickly dropped Suzykats (site was to s l o w), Silverclicks (after I went in to clear my tempory internet files and found 1000's, most of which belonged to Silverclicks) and the other (I guess it was so bad that I forgot who it was...or it to went belly-up) So now I do Milescource (wish those Ghiardelli certs would come back!!!!!), Mypoints, RewardTV (really like this one!), and Creation Rewards. I am thinking about Click to the Magic (maybe after this trip to start on the next one...you just know that kid will want to go back!!!!!!)
Thanks also to Mal who got this whole tread started...you're the best!!!

Hi, everyone. I'm Jeanie and I've been lurking (more or less) here for a couple of weeks reading the posts. My family consists of me, DH & DD (15). We took our first trip in many years to WDW last Oct. The last time we went DD was 3! Now I'm a incurable WDW fanatic! I can't wait to go back & hopefully the rewards will help out a little.
After reading all the posts, I decided to jump in & join milesource & mypoints. Thanks to everyone for their how to posts, they have helped so much. The only other reward site I have done was FreeRide & just when I got enough points to cash out for a web certificate they went on hold. I'm hoping they come back, so I can use my points.
Well, that's me! See you on the Boards!
