Character autograph help please!

Okay.... so I am cruising along on our WDW 2004 scrapbooks and I remembered that I had planned on scanning the autographs and using them on the appropriate pages. So I get out the kids autograph books and find that on the pages where we used a Sharpie versus a ballpoint pen, the ink has bleed through enough where I cannot get a clear scan of the autograph on the opposite side of the page. Any suggestions how to clean this up? Or is there a website were I can find the autographs either as JPEG or some sort of clipart? Or should I get some tracing paper and try to duplicate the autographs by hand? Or just forget the whole idea?!!. Thanks for any help.....................P

BTW... don't suggest cutting the autograph books apart... my kids would never forgive me!!

Let me know if you don't find what you need. I might have one. I scanned all of DD's recently. Some of ours are very different than those on that site. I much prefer our Donald Duck siggy - the Ds look like his feet in ours. ;) Cute!

I assume you do not have Photoshop or other program to manipulate images (since that would be the easiest way to fix these). See if your scanner has density options so that you can make a lighter, less "contrasty" scan -- that could result in just getting the strong image of the autograph on the page and washing out the ones that are bleeding through from the other side....

WOW PiratesMate.......This site is sooooo cool! I wish I had found it last year this time before we went for our first trip to Disney! We missed so many characters b/c I really didn't know where to find anyone! I guess they must have LOTS of folks to be the different characters b/c your Cruella looks nothing like "our" Cruella and the signature is totally different too. I'll have to check this site out more often. It's VERY itneresting!!
