A salute to the lost sub attraction at WDW, Sung to the tune of Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid.

There was an e-ticket ride here
But now we've filled in the lake
Some folks expect a new ride here
But that is a big mistake
We plan to build a big playground
What else would you have us do?
The budget is not to be found
So all you will get is Poo.

20K Leagues
Under the Sea
Who needs attractions?
Thats the reaction
of Micheal E.
Instead of a ride thats really good,
He wants a hundred acre wood
Now no more subs here
Just some nice shrubs here
Thanks to M. E.

No need for fastpass
Just keep off the grass
Thanks to M. E.

No Nemo round here
Just a playground here
It once was better
But we're not bitter
Who needs a sub port?
We got a cheap park
Thanks to M. E.

Nice. What a wonderfully creative way to vent annoyance...and it made me laugh out loud at work. Nicely done. :rotfl:

I love it. :)

Now, what about that 20K lagoon at DL? That still has water and some nice rusty tracks in it. I'm not sure which is worse. ;)

The rumor is that the Subs at Disneyland are going to be re-habed with a "Finding Nemo" theme. They went as far as to test for the big brass, and now rumor says that it's been greenlighted for a 2007 re-opening (of course, a lot can change between now & then).

That would be great. Nothing worse than standing on the monorail platform and staring down at green water and rusty tracks. ;)

FANTASMIC!

Just a heads up. At www.disneyforever.com it show what the lagoon looks like now and I'm sorry to say no building fondations, no special ride just a half done fontaian some cheap looking rock covering and dirt. :guilty: Why oh why M.E? Why? Kick out an old classic and not even make another ride :confused3 . A playground? Come on!

Eisner seems to have a playground/meet & greet fetish. If you sit back and actually count how many play area/character meet & greet areas were created during his reign, it's mind boggling.
