Now that the popup is home, I am thinking about awning/tacky lights. Obviously, we HAVE to have Disney lights. Does anyone have Disney lights or know where I can get some? TIA

I would be interested in knowing that myself. I have to say that tacky as tacky can get, my girls wanted powerpuff girl lights :earseek: . I would love to have some Pooh Bears hanging out with me while we camp.

I have never seen any disney awning lights for sale or on peoples campers. We have used the tacky little lights, but in some of the wooded campsites they aren't bright enough to walk the dogs. I want those crystal globes i see people have, but they are a bit pricey. We seem to break our lights everytime we go to the Fort and end up buying a new set. DH needs to be more careful when he is packing up to leave, but we are always in a rush since we procrastinate leaving the beloved fort till the last minute.

The closest thing we ever got was last year they sold Mickey pumpkin lights at the Disney Store. I bought enough for my parents, my sister and us and probably could have set up a stand in our loop, so many people asked where we got them. I would love to find others. Hopefully someone will come out with something for us crazy campers.

We have the Mickey Head-String Lights. Got them a long time ago. Can't remember where.

Many years ago, when the Disney Store was truly a Disney Experience, I bought 2 strings of Christmas lights on sale which I use as awning lights. They are alternating Mouse ears, pants, gloves and shoes. They always get a bit of attention wherever we go, but especially at FW. :moped:

I agree going to the store use to be like an attraction, with cool unique stuff. Now it is the same junk i can buy at home....and it is the same stuff everytime we go. I think they are missing the mark on this. It is no longer my favorite store in the marketplace.

I'm not sure they have Disney lights right now, but one of my favorite sites is www.cheesylights.com I even love the description of the lights there. They echo my weird sense of humor.

It's the wrong time of year but you might want to remember to check at Target at Christmas time. We've seen Disney themed lights there for the past several years. I've seen Pooh and friends and Mickey and the gang lights.
