since we will be using Magic Express and not a Towncar we need to take a cab to the grocery store. I know there is one at Crossroads...but is that the closest or is there one closer.
Thanks

We usually shop at Goodings, which is the one at Crossroads (I think). I believe there is a Publix down from Goodings. If you are on Hotel Plaza BLVD turn left at Crossroads and it is a mile on the right. The better prices may be worth the extra cab ride.
Sorry, I don't know much about the otherside of the world.
Good Luck!

Are you looking to do true grocery shopping, or just snacks etc. We just get soda packs and have the towncar guy stop at the hess mini mart, its right by the swan and dolphin and a hop skip and jump from your hotel.

luvmarypoppins is right. Hess is actually just a short walk from the BW gates, and they don't gouge you for pop, beer, etc.

We usually go to Publix. I can't remember the name of the road the one we go to is on but it's near the Orlando Premium Outlets (where the Character Premier store is) and Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is just down the road from it.
Since you'll have to take a cab maybe you should consider

or

I have read a lot of DVC members use these two services and the food is delivered to the resort for you. We usually have a rental car so we prefer to just go shopping. Just a suggestion. If you do a search on the DVC boards I'm sure you'll come up with some threads about that.
