We are flying to Orlando on Wednesday, March 15, and were flying with Jetsgo. How do I book from Buffalo??? Is there a good company that anyone can recommend. We don't want to be stranded again. Is Jet Blue good??? Any ideas??? Please help!!!!! There are six of us. Thanks for all of the help.

Sorry you've been put in such a crappy situation.
Jet Blue is excellent, as is Southwest out of Buffalo.
As a fellow Barrie resident, I generally drive down. I see you have 6 people. For the price of your airfares you could rent a big van, drive, and stay in hotels for less than what your air fares will be. I realize for some people that isn't always a viable option. Look at Southwest and Jet Blue's sites.
Good luck.

I'm sorry teanbean, what a stressful mess for you! :(
Here's some new info, although I don't want to get your hopes up too much.
From CTV online news;
"WestJet and Air Canada have both said they will try to help stranded Jetsgo passengers. But it may be hard to find extra seats now, as families take to the skies for March break holidays.
Many passengers may also have to pay extra for new tickets.
In a statement on its website, WestJet said it "will provide stranded Jetsgo customers with special fares on confirmed seats in all markets served by WestJet and Jetsgo."
Air Canada has also said it won't be able to honour Jetsgo tickets.
"Air Canada regrets that no arrangements were made by Jetsgo that would enable Air Canada to accept Jetsgo tickets," a statement on the airline's website said.
Jetsgo said in a statement that passengers who had paid for tickets should talk to the Canadian Transportation Agency or provincial consumer affairs ministries."

Guy in our office has a daughter who is stranded now. Had bought her round trip ticket and is scrambling to get her back to school in Halifax by the weekend.
We made up this in the office this morning for him.

Both Southwest and Jetblue's websites are very easy to navigate, and I've heard good things about Jetblue. I flew Southwest last month out of Buffalo, and found them to be great!

Thanks for all of your support. We eventually booked with Air Transat because that was all that was left. Jet Blue was going to cost us $330 u.s. plus we would have had to drive to Buffalo. Our flight is $472 each--ca-ching, ca-ching-- but at least we were able to get flights. My ds is flying out on Skyservice because they had booked his flight at work--he's going down for business. The good news--lol-- is that we couldn't fly out on the 16th and had to change to the 15th--yahoo--AND, there was nothing coming back on the 23rd so we are coming home on the 24th--yahoo. Also, I just heard on the radio that if you paid by Visa that Visa is going to reimburse. So, all in all, we are back on track plus get two extra days at my happy place--which I will be needing. Thanks again, for all of your help.

teanbean - glad it all worked out.
For y'all who are driving down.......here's a little  :wave2: when crusing through Atlanta :sunny:
Your driving through here should be good. It's going to be low 45's, high of low 60's and partly sunny all weekend. Just remember - stay on I-75 through the city (don't take the I-285 bi-pass) and use the HOV lanes. Best radio traffic and news in the city is on AM750 (if you need it)
Happy Trails!

Hi Kerri. I lived in Orillia for 5 years-many years-1971-1976. I miss it and still have many friends there but don't get to visit very often.
