Which HRH Room Level?

I am having trouble deciding what room to book.

I have a couple of choices. I have a Loews First card, which states that I am entitled to a room upgrade IF one is available at CHECK IN.

So, with that in mind, my choices are:

Choice 1:
Book a Deluxe Room and HOPE for an upgrade to Club Level.

Choice 2:
Book a Club Level for $25 more per night than Deluxe. Not sure if an upgrade would be available, even if a room was available.

What do you think?

I'd do number 2. It isn't very likely that you would be upgraded from deluxe to club.

I'm pretty sure unless you are gold or platnium level the upgrades at HRH would be garden to pool or pool to deluxe. They wouldnt upgrade you from deluxe to club w/o charging you first.

I would book the room you want since the upgrade isnt a definite only if its available.
