Ever have to show proof of age?

We are planning on taking my nephew with us to WDW in October, he will still be 2 at the time. He is very large and tall for his age, he looks older than my 3yo son riight now. I am wondering if we will have to prove that he is under 3 to get him in the parks without a ticket.

Anyone ever had a problem with this?

My DD2 is the same way. She is very tall and speaks very clear for a 2 year old, but I have never been asked as of yet to prove her age when we go to the parks. I don't think you'll have any problems like that.

You shouldn't have a problem. If a CM is in doubt they'll try to engage the child in conversation to gauge his age. If it's a real concern though I'd suggest bringing a copy of his birth certificate.

If you're planning on getting some discount on airfare BRING THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE. In my opinion, there is no upside to risking it, bring the certificate (or a copy if airline will accept it) and that way you have proof.

i would say no, my dtr is very tall she is 8 1/2 and i am 5'3 and she is just about at my head, i never was asked to provide proof

My DS was 39" tall (off the charts) at 2.25 years, and we were only asked about his age once (and saying that he was 2 sufficed). I did bring a copy of his birth certificate, just in case.

And note that airline discounts are only available before the second birthday (someone mentioned that). Once they turn two, they are full price.
