My pesky DH asked me to ask all you hotelkingdom experts about them. We are looking into August, so I have a few questions.

We've never booked with them before:

so: First, is the transaction safe? I'm sure, but that was a question.

2) Would the rates be lower now for August or closer to summer? Cypress Pointe has a 2 bed villa for $73.10--will it go lower?

3) If price goes lower on hotelkingdom website, can it be credited?

LAST ONE I PROMISE!

4) What is the tax rate? Is it 13% (Cypress Pointe) Does Hotelkingdom have any "hidden" fees?

Thanks! We've looked at hotelkingdom before, but have never booked.

I can help with a few questions

Yes the transaction is safe. :)

You may want to book as soon as you can. Some dates do sell out for Cypress Pointe on hotelkingdom.

I doubt the rate would go down, it may go up. I booked our May 2005 dates in Nov. or Dec. and the rates actually went up for my dates from 70 to 73 dollars a few months later. So, i was glad i booked when i did.

The tax is 11.5% :wizard:

You can go through the checkout process and see the total with tax before you have to put in your credit card info.

Same experience with price increase. I looked into hotelkingdom for our Feb trip to Universal. They had the RPR for 198. A month later, and 2 weeks before our trip, it was 207. I wished I hadn't waited.

I booked in September for our upcoming March trip. I wanted to be sure our dates were available. As it is, dates are gone and prices have gone up. Book now!!
