Is that with the Regular Annual Pass or the Preferred/Power pass? That is a GREAT price.
D
Sadly, power pass doesn't get you hotel discounts.

Hi there,
I'm a Universal novice - I've been a couple of times but that was twelve years ago. How can I find out if there are AP rates available for my August trip?
Thank you!

Call 1-800-BEA-STAR and give them your dates. They will let you know if they have any passholder rates available for that time.
Good Luck!

Thanks Deena!
Or go on the www.loewshotels.com website, choose your hotel, go into reservations and use APH as the discount code.

You can use www.uoannualpass.com too
I always have a terrible time trying to use that site. It will never accept my AP #.

Or, just use the regular booking engine on the UO site and enter APH as the code.

The APH number is case sensitive and a pain! Careful between 0 and O's.
I just logged in to find my daughter's expiration and it didn't come up.

Which website? www.uoannualpass.com? I'm also going March 17-19. I wish I could get that rate!!!
The quote I'm getting is $199 a night, using APH code...

I don't see the $119 a night. I see $224 a night with AP discount for 03/17 & 03/18 for RPR. I see this rate on the Universal web site.
I am going to RPR 03/21-03/25. 4 nights. Rate $264 a night. Can't find any discounts.
I see $199/night at RPR for March 17-19 but that's it.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
My rate went from $210 all the way down to $139 for April 24-27. I'm still paying $210 for the 22-23 but I'm saving over $200. Sure makes that $210 a little less painful.

I had try to book rpr on their website all I can get is 224.00 a night, so I called rpr direct and it was 254.00 a night!!!!,sad The only reason I bought a annual pass was for the hotel discount, the person I talked to said that there
are no more discounts available at the time, so the preferred annual pass is LIMTED to what , when & how much benifits if any they are going to pass on to annual pass holders. very misleading.

If you don't mind me asking, what dates are you looking at? A lot of times, APH rates seem to get cheaper as your arrival date gets closer.

I can't login to the passholders site, either. I called the passholders line & was told they are having website problems.

That is a good rate! and I'm wondering if I should cancel my Club Level
room for a better rate. It started out at 389/369 for four adults/one child.
(The other two adults are my 24 and 20 year old children and are being
charged extra to stay in the room.) Then when the Universal website posted stay longer pay less I called and got it reduced to 300 a night. I was happy about that until now, I'm seeing alot lower rates. The only thing I have is the Entertainment book and that is not going to help me. Can someone convince me to stay Club Level and pay 300 a night !!!

If you use this site. make sure all of your letters are capitalized and that you
know the difference between 0 and O. Most often these are the reasons
for inaccessability of the website. The website tells you the zeros are long and skinny and the O are fat.

Hi
I just booked online a APH rate for HRH for May. I don't have the annual pass yet, but I am wondering if they ask to see it when you check in. I don't need an annual pass as I live on the other side of the country from Florida, but it saves us $300 in hotel rate.
I have actually already bought our Universal tickets, so this would be in addition buying the annual pass. Can I show them my voucher or whatever then never use the annual pass and sell it on Ebay?
Thanks for any input on this!
Also, does anyone know what the code is for the Entertainment book to check if they have that rate available?
Lastly...I have 3 kids 9, 7 and 2 years (girls) we are bringing with us. I was planning on staying at the Hardrock Hotel, but does someone suggest one of the other onsite Universal hotels are better for kids this age??
Thanks so much!!
Feel free to email me!
There are no entertainment discounts any more. If you ordered your annual pass online you can just show them the receipt at the front desk. I have never been asked to show mine, though.

I recommend a deluxe room at the Hard Rock Hotel. It has 2 queens and a fold out sofa. A good size room for a family your size. though I do like the pool at the Royal Pacific better since it has the big ship area for the kids to play but you can pool hop at all the resorts at Universal.
And its a good idea to have atleast 1 AP at Universal. You get a discount on practically everything using with your AP.

Hey blueeyes,
I have reservations at the HRH for May 10-15, $296.10 (AAA) for a deluxe room, there are five of us.
Although VERY happy we're heading to Universal, I wish I could find a better rate. Your club level rate doesn't sound too bad for all you get.
Can anybody help me find a better rate??????????????????????????????
