Hi All,
We had a very nice Chritmas with my family. I completely overendulged, and I am paying for it now. I stepped on the scale today, and it read 235.5. I have now officially gained back 1/2 the weight I had lost. The positive thing about it is that I actually feel ready to do something about it. I did a lc day today, and I am headed into induction tomorrow. I should also have time to get back to journalling starting tomorrow. I am cutting back my hours for the month f Jan/Feb. I also don't have another party to plan until Valentine's day, so hopefully my life can get back to normal. I do work the next 2 days, then I am off until Saturday. We go to a wedding on Friday. My plan is to head to the Y M-F. Yep, I have my shiny new ipod, and I am ready to go. Everyone is healthy for once,and I have no complaints. Yes, you can pick yourself up off the floor with that one.
Goals for the new year ....
I will at least journal in MY journal daily. I know that i got into trouble when I stopped journalling.
Have more patience with my family.
Live healthier, exercise at least 3x a week, get my water in, and eat in moderation.
I would like to lose35 pounds this year, but I know it is just a number.
Ok, I need to get Katie off to bed. I hope everone has a safe and happy new year.

Hey, Beth. :hug: It was good to read your post; if you're journaling every day I'll come by and visit you, OK? My goal is to lose 30 lbs. this year and to keep it off! We'll encourage each other. :flower:

Happy New Year to ALL!!!
Last night at work was very busy. Our acuity is VERY high right now. I only work 8 hours tonight. I actually need to get going, but I said I would journal daily.
Meal Plan...
7AM: 2 ham and cheese rollups. Splenda sweetened green tea 4 carbs.
5PM: 2 crambled eggs. 1.5 carbs.
12AM: Salad and ham rollups 10 carbs.
I have string cheese for snacks and will drink water and green tea at work.
I hope to get to journals tomorrow.

Hi guys,
Well today didn't go as planned. I ended up working an evening shift. I did skip out a 1/2 hour early though. We are very busy and short staffed. Nothing new there.
Meals today:
B:(12 PM) Scrambled eggs and green tea.
D: (7PM) Salad and cheeseburger patty.
Snack 10PM: String cheese.
I took Pez for a 3 mile walk today.
Plan for the day tomorrow.
Get Katie off to School!
Go to the Y.
Work on laundry.
Stop at the grocery store.
Meal Plan..
B: Scrambled eggs.
L: Salad and cheeseburger patty.
D: Grilled tuna steak, salad, and broccoli.
I will do journals tomorrow night.

Hi There everyone,
I am doing well. So far I am still on track. I know that I am olsing weight because my clothes are fitting better. We'll see tomorrow when I weigh in.
I have started a journal at the other site. I am not sure where I will spend my time. At the moment, I am keeping both open.
I have a busy weekend ahead of me. A wedding on Friday. Bday party on Saturday, work Sat and Sun.
Ok, I am off to do some exercise.

Hey Beth -
Are you getting enough to eat? Just doesn't seem like your eating enough with just the 3 meals. You should try and get some small snacks in there, maybe some fruit and veggies.
With everything you have going on in your life, you definitely need your strength. Of course, I wish I had half of your strength :flower:
I'm proud of you for keeping at it. It takes so much work to keep losing, but remember how worth it you are and how hard you've worked. Keep it up and take care of yourself :teeth:

Hi Tera and Jen, Tera I have run my meals through Fitday. I am getting enough to eat. The key is tht my salads are big with lots of good veggies. Thanks for keeping an eye on me.
Ok, weigh in was today. 226!!! I am down 9 pounds since December 29th! I know that most of it is water, but I will take it.
B: Scrambled eggs.
L:Salad.
Before wedding: Piece of quiche.
At reception: salad and side of veggies. I can't eat the main course because it has nuts. The aren't supplying an alternatitive. I am allergic to tree nuts. I will probably have a cup of coffee. No alcohol. No cake.
Well, I need to get going. I need to get Katie off to school.

congrats on the weight loss--no matter if its water, its a loss so take it!! (someone just said that in my journal this week!)
Beth - Awesome job getting rid of those 9 pounds and even if it's just water, don't you feel so much better?
With everything you have to do in your life, I just want to make sure your getting enough to eat.
Keep drinking that water and I'm sure you'll be losing a few more pounds soon.
