How hard is it to get VWL at the 7 month window, dates DEC 4-11?

How difficult is it to get reservations at the Wilderness Lodge Villas at the 7 month window? Has anyone had any luck during the first part of December, we are going from the 4-11th and would like to try out that resort, ressies are currently for Saratoga Springs. Any help or comments would be appreciated!

We got a 2br with less than 7 months notice, though we did have to waitlist for one night. I think I made the reservation in August or something like that. I had originally booked a 1br at 11mo. with our VWL points, but we later decided to have my parents join us. Our dates were the 12th to the 17th.

There is a chance that you won't get anything....and its very likely you'll have to use the waitlist....but I don't think its impossible. Good luck!

I would transfer the resort over day by day, and ask MS what the inventory looks like.

I did that for my upcoming trip and I have 5 nights at VWL and 5 nights BCV--which is something that I never that that I would be able to do at the 7 month window.

We were there last year between Dec 3-10. We transferred over to VWL (we just wanted to try it a couple of nights) in/around August with no problems.
