I bought brand new 6 days passes (bought July 2004) from a friend who ended up not being able to use them. They only have 3 pluses and it doesn't include DisneyQuest. Can somebody out there who understands the ticket thing better than me answer a few questions?

Can I upgrade them at WDW (I have the original receipt) to a new 6 day pass with the better/more pluses?
How much will it cost? I believe the original price was $306 or so??
Where can I upgrade?

Some side info - these are non-expiring, park hoppers plus. I am DVC so I will definitely use the days.

Thanks for any info (not even sure if this is the right board...I am still confused on where to put things).

Thbe current price for a 6-day hopper with four plus features and no expire is $321.00 plus $20.87 tax = $341.87.

I would not trade them in. Disney Quest is currently $36.21 including tax. However, even though you have an old ticket you still might be able to use it at DQ. For example, a few years ago after AK opened an old three park ticket could not be used; after a while they then allowed the old tickets to use AK. It is possible that now that DQ is allowed as a Plus Feature, an old ticket might be able to be used for entry.

As far as understand it, you can have the tickets upgraded at MK at guest services, and you would have to pay any difference. That's what I was told when I purchased park tickets at the disney store, then realized, I made a mistake on the number of days. They told me just to go to guest services and they would upgrade to whatever days/pluses I needed.

Totally unused (pre-2005) park hoppers can be traded towards any kind of (post-2004) MYW tickets, although you will not get any change back.

If you are seriously considering trading to a non-expiring MYW pass, also seriously consider a 7 or 10 day pass insted of a 6 day.

As far as an old hopper letting you into Disney Quest, the official answer is still no.
