I need opinions on these two hotels... which is most convenient to Sea World?

We're coming in from a 7 day cruise, and plan on spending most of the day Saturday at Sea World before flying home on Sunday... so we want our hotel to be as convenient as possible... and nice, since we're going to spoiled after the cruise! :D

As of right now, we're booked into the Renaissance, with a Sea World view - is it really worth the extra $? Is there anything to see?

The Renaissance is an upscale, luxury, convention hotel with a massive lobby. It looks very nice. It's across the street from the Sea World parking lot but I doubt you would want to walk to/from the park. The view would likely amount to being able to see the fireworks from your room, if you are in your room at that time of day (we'd be at the park!). Here's you'll find at least one pricy restaurant, shop(s), room service and an upscale hotel feel.

The Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Sea World (if that's what you mean) is just a half block away from it, across from the far end of the Sea World parking lot. There are a handful of top floor rooms in the first phase that are able to see the fireworks as well. This resort is more family friendly (IMHO), with a nice Bermuda style/theme. A studio unit would include a mini-fridge, microwave & coffee maker (convenient for breakfast). A 1-BR villa or larger will include a full kitchen/LR/DR, a MBR suite with double jacuzzi and an inroom washer/dryer. Here you'll find activities and an upscale resort feel.

Both are beautiful places, with lots of amenities and pretty pool areas. You probably would not be disappointed at either one.

(If you meant a different Hilton Hotel, then I don't know anything about it. ;) )
