I still have to have my first stay in a DVC resort and I'm already thinking of adding on :D
But.... I'm in Europe, so I couldn't buy from Disney without being there, I bought my points through resale. As I am now a member can I add on without being there??
I can't see myself making a trip just to add on, well.... I can but DH wouldn't let me ;)

Do you know they can't sell to you through the mail? I'd check that out first. I've heard of people arranging to have materials sent to a state that is registered and completing the paperwork there. If there is somewhere else in Europe that allows purchases by mail this might be an option.

hi: just a quick question- didn't they assign a guide to you after your resale went through? if so, simply call your guide. hope this helped.

Hi,
I'm in the same boat as you, penguin.
We bought an OKW resale in March.
I tryied to have my name added for the lottery last week because we liked to make an add-on at BWV but it seems that we need to be there in person for the sale. I know that England is registered, so, if you know someone there, it could be a solution for a sale by mail.
If you have a solution, let me know please.

Thanks for all the info.
When I first wanted to purchase they said that I had to be there in person as the Netherlands did not allow purchases, so I figure that this is probably the same as an add-on would count as a new purchase..
I called once to ask who my guide was and then called her (I think it was Mary???) but she never got back to me.
When I visit WDW can I ask for another guide?
I think I'll just ask about the add-on when I go to WDW in November, I also want to take the tour as I bought sight unseen.
Guy, I'll let you know what I find out. (leuk om iemand van dichtbij te lezen!! Ben je al lang lid?)

Purchasing an add-on would be the same as the original purchase. If you can't do one, you can't do the other.
