EpCot to Wilderness Lodge via taxi

After Illuminations if we exit through Intl Gateway where is the closest place to get a taxi? How much would a taxi be from there to Wilderness Lodge? Can these be reserved ahead of time?

To my knowledge they can't be reserved ahead of time, but call the local cab companies when you get there to check. They run on a meter, so as you are waiting in a line of traffic, that meter is ticking.

Best bet is to walk to the BC and have them get you one. It should be there fairly quickly (under five minutes), although that's a high traffic volume time, so it could be longer. Fare from BC to GF with no traffic was $17. With no traffic to WL probably about $15. So with traffic it could be an expensive proposition.

Actually, closest place would be BoardWalk. Moreover, as it is a nightly entertainment district, there are always many taxis available there at night. Don't know the likely cost.

I did this last year from the BC (Boardwalk is closer, but there were a lot of people waiting for taxis right after Illuminations finished). I believe it cost $12 plus tip.
