I just realized that with today's weigh in (daily weighing)...I saw 188...my highest ever was 258 (on the day I delivered 3rd dear child)...I am officially 70 pounds from my highest!!!! :)

WOW!!!!! I almost can't believe it myself!!! Last year I got as low as 183 with WISH (183 on my evil scales...178 on my very kind scales that broke!) and I'll be able to CLAIM the 60 pound clippie with WISH when I hit 181!!!! :) I can't WAIT!!!

What does it feel like to be in the 180's?

My 14 pants are LOOSE! I can squeeze into a 12..but not go out in public in them unless I've got a knee length sweater with it! :)

My ankles are slimming down...less square area to shave my legs each morning.

My back/knees/joints don't hurt as badly.

I HAVE ENERGY!!!!

I enjoy eating well and am even enjoying Oprah's Boot Camp!!!!

My rings are fitting nicely! My diamond ring was given to me when I was over 200 so it's doing flips around my finger and my wedding band (given to me at 140 pounds) is not tight at all..I can slip it on and off easily! :)

What do I miss about the 190's, 200's, 210's, 220's, 230's, 240's, 250's???

NOT A THING!!!!

Gang...we can knock those fat pounds right off!!! Let's drink our water, choose foods wisely, and move our tushies!!! :)

a great inspirational message and yours is IT!!!!

I am back OP this week and doing okay but I am a tad hungry tonight and my sweet lovable thin DH just made popcorn - YIKES - the smell is making my stomach rumble.

I am off to have one more cup of green tea and just do one thing on my "to do" list so I am busy and no where near that big big bowl of popcorn!

I know it is a good allowable healthy food BUT I am not eating after 7 and it's almost 8 Pm here.

thanks for the message - it got me in the right spirit of saying "I can do this"

Great job Tara. Keep up the progress and you will see the 170's before you know. You are an inspiration to all trying to lose weight and not losing sight of your goals considering the stress you must be under with trying to sell the house and having your spouse in another state.

Keep up the good work :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

You are doing it! Congratulations!
I am glad you posted this. It is always great to hear someone who has struggled, as we all have from time to time, get through to the other side. It won't be long for you to get where you want to be. You inspire me to continue. Thanks for that.

Tara, my fellow boot camper, I am so very proud of you!!! I can just hear the excitement in your post. I coud have written it myself! Our starting weights are similar.

The 180's feel wonderful!!!! Come and join those of us here. You'll be wearing those size 12's in public in no time. This is such a great place to be. Close enough to goal to actually see it but far enough away from your starting point to feel really proud of all that you have accomplished so far.

I am just thrilled for you! You will see your goal, I can read the determination in your post. Thanks for sharing your journey and giving us your encouraging and inspiring example to imitate!!!

Now go by yourself a pair of Victoria Secret panties to celebrate - that's what I did when I hit the 180's, hence the reference in my tag! :)

Y'all ARE soooo GREAT!!!! Just look at all these Losers here!!! I'm sooo excited just reading all of your clippies that tell how much you've lost...how much you're committed with all these extra challenges and Goal deadlines..this is what it's all about...losing is great for ourselves but what's greater is bringing EVERYONE down with us! :) I couldn't have become re-inspired without WISH...

Training for the Marathon really kept me going on my first wind (April 2003-April 2004) but when I realized we wouldn't be able to do the marathon unless we sold our house (and we still haven't!!) it just kind of demoralized me...after hearing of the gang that did get to go....it really sparked something in me to just STOP feeling sorry for myself and TREAT myself right! :) It does feel GREAT to finally have this train moving again...that GOAL depot is calling my name! :) Thanks everyone!!!

Oh, I haven't even figured it out yet...when is our 12 weeks of Boot Camp Over??? I plan on keeping up that pace but it would be nice to reward myself on THAT DAY when I complete 12 weeks! :)

I started the day that Oprah said it would start....just can't remember...and am too lazy to look back at my posts....

WTG!! I am impressed and inspired.

I cannot wait for my first digit to be a 1, it has been a 2 way too long. I just thank god it's not a 3 anymore.
