Well for several moments I contemplated "forgetting" to start this week's thread but then remembered accountability is what this whole part of the board is all about.

Not a good weigh in this morning. That pound I'd managed to take back off last week is back with a friend. I know this is all fluid retention though. My wedding and anniversary rings had gotten so big I am in the habit of taking them off at night and this morning they were actually snug when I put them on. Oh yea, dinner last night bad girl I was....I gave in to my DD's request to order subs from our favorite Greek place. Yep, a gyro that I KNOW is loaded with salt in addition to all the other yummy spices. I was pouring in the water last night. DH & DS were both gone (DH is gone for the week and he does most of the actually dinner preparation as he gets home much earlier).

The bright side is this "gain" should be temporary and it shouldn't take too long to get rid of it...proper eating and a bit of exercise increase should take care of it.

Good for you. :sunny: I come here and lurk, have only posted on this board once. I am as afraid of the board as I am of the scale, lol! OK so between week 1-Tuesday Feb. 22 and Tuesday March 2, my first week of dieting and drinking-blech- water I lost what I am calling 8 pounds, the scale says more but I don't believe it. So it is my second post on this board and I am scared to death. I am trying so hard to eat better and drink tons, well I am up to almost 50 ounces, of water a day. Thanks for listening. :wizard:
