OK, here we go. Sorry I haven't gotten this updated before now. We all know how crazy life can get sometimes. I am going to use the same format in the previous months.

Everyone starts the Challenge at 0/5
For every pound you lose you change the 1st number/5
Please post your vents, brags, congrats, challenges, etc!
Totals will be updated weekly on Mondays
A 3 pound loss will be tracked in Blue
A 5 pound GOAL loss will be tracked in Red
A 6-9 pound loss will be tracked in Orange
10 or more pounds will be tracked in Magenta!

Thanks so much for starting this challenge.

Where, oh, where are the people how develop those great clippies? I have no idea how to do it... (rats...). Maybe someone can PM me with how?

These challenges help me too. I have a LONG way to go before I am done.

I am in! I have yet to meet the 5 pound challenge, but this could be my month! At least I am 6.5 pounds lighter after the Jan. & Feb. challenges, and I have kept it off! Thanks Tammy for starting this challenge. I like the 5 pounds a month goal. Come on everybody! We can do this! :cheer2:

With my first commitment to the exercise challange of 1000 minutes for this month I hope it will help me to lose 5 pounds!!! As a bonus this month is 31 days long, for our February challange we only had 28 days to lose 5 pounds!

It is GREAT!!!! Thank you SOOOO much for doing this! It really helps me stay on track. I see it at every post I make and it reminds me to work on the challenge! I really appreciate all of your clippies!

I'm new to this board - and want in too!

I have lost 12 lbs. since Janurary and have been having a hard time staying on track. I could use this challenge and motivation of this board. My hope is to be down another 15 before we go to WDW the end of May - so count me in! :banana:

Hi - I'm joining in late! Better late than never...especially when it comes to weight loss! I lost my motivation in the February challenge but now I'm back on track.

Just went to Weight Watchers for my weigh in. Keep in mind that I am a lifetime member, so I only weigh in every 2-3 weeks (I only pay for the meetings I go to, so this keeps the cost down).

I lost 3.8 pounds!!!! I still have SOOOO far to go (41 pounds), but it sounds so good! Small steps lead the way!

P.S. A HUGE thanks to those doing these challenges. They have really helped. I came over to WISH a year ago, but didn't find 'my place'. I probably just wasn't motivated enough. But these 5 pounds/month challenges have been just what I needed. I think about that instead of the WHOLE amount that I want to lose.

I am hoping to get some updates done this evening. Anyone else want to be updated? Everyone is doing great with their loss and glad that we still have others joining us.

I'll post again once I've updated. I won't do my WI until Wednesday. That is my normal WI day and I like to keep it the same. Let us know how you are doing.

I am exercising 6 days a week, eating whole foods, and watching my portions, but it is really still coming off slowly. Here's hoping my body kicks into gear soon!

I weighed this morning and was down a pound. Guess that makes me 1/5. Hope I can keep it up next week. DH and I are going to Vegas, so I will probably be tempted by food, not gambling!

I just updated everything and hope that it is correct. If you see something that needs changing, let me know.

We have several who are at the 3 pound mark already, way to go.

For others that the weight is coming off slower, remember to not get discouraged. Everyone is different and the weight is going to come off at a different rate on everyone. I find that I am a slow loser, but that is OK. I know it and I don't try to compare myself to others.

Keep up the great work. I WI a little later on and I'll come back and pick up any changes from this morning and then I'll do another update on Monday.

No official Weigh in for me this week, we had a snow/ice storm yesterday and all meetings were cancelled. We only have meetings one day a week here in our little corner of the world :) I think I am down .5lb. I am a little disappointed, but it is coming up to TOM and I know that has a lot to do with it. Hoping for a bigger loss next week!

This was an odd week....I was traveling to a conference and 2 weekend trips to Disneyland. I was being adamant about following the Core Plan and staying away from things that aren't on the plan as I figured my 35 flex points would be used up in salad dressing, etc that they put in conference lunches that I can't avoid. I also walk about 100 minutes every night and never add those earned points back into the flex bank. So I probably didn't eat as much as I should have while I was traveling.

I was surprised as well. I also have over 100 more lbs to lose, so I'm still in that early stage where I tend to lose more quicker.

It is really hard to follow program when you are sick. Just start over on Monday and know it will be a better week.

I also have trouble when the kids are home from school, so I am sending them to grandma's house for spring break. :cool1:

We are starting a weightloss jackpot for work. Everyone who wants to participate pays $5 a week for 7 weeks. The person who loses the most weight will win the jackpot. Right now the jackpot is $1,470.00!! I sure would like to win and use that money for my trip in October.

Oh boy, finally!!! I made the 5 in Feb. Taking soooo looooong to lose anymore this mo. Down .5 today and my official no. is monday so hopefully it will be a whole #. I am a slow loser so I track the daily number to see a pattern (maybe a little weird but learned this last yr.). I have lost 8 since I started ww in Jan. I am never hungry. Eating healthy, following the veggie/fruit/milk/water advise. No exercise at this time. Health issue that will not resolve. But I feel good today! :banana: I'll log the official pounds monday. :wave2:

I choose to not count it so I am officially at 1.8/5. Still 2.5 more weeks to go!

I agree that weight loss is sloooow this month. I am down 1/2 pound this week so I am 0.5/5. I picked up my lounge chair and moved off the beach last week (South Beach that is). I am now back to WW and ready to see that scale move! :moped:

weighed in today. -4.4 for a total of 8.6 for the month. While I'd love to put this all onto great eating and lots of exercise, I've been exhausted the past few weeks and not eating as much as I usually do. I'm sure when my appetite comes back I'll put a few pounds back on and will be ok with that.

Well, I'm thrilled. I lost another 3.2 lbs last night, bringing my March total to 6 lbs! I'm shocked. I really am. At WW I'm 178, at home in the AM I'm 175. Unreal!

Ok - time for me to get serious - I am still at 1/5 - I have seriously been lacking at self control with my eating this month - I've been doing great with the exercise part bad with the eating part so now I am recommitting myself to do the best that I can do to finish out this challenge!!

Oh I am so happy..I think that I have been working hard this month, exercising and watching what I eat and hadn't lost a pound until this morning-yesterday I told myself to keep it up because even if I didn't see a change in the scale it was good for me. I think I'm listed under "joang" on the lose chart now I can put 2-yes 2- in front of my 5.Weekends are hard so I hope this will motivate me to do well.

Im soooo thrilled. I joined the St. Patty's day challenge and really pushed myself to lose 5 lbs by then....Wellllll....as of TODAY, Mar 21st :) Im down 5lbs from the beginning of march *woohoo*!! So im going to up my challenge to 8lbs by the end of March.

So I'm at 5/8 :))

I feel the same way...very frustrating! I'm at 2.5/5, and it's been an uphill battle the whole way.

I can't believe I forgot what my starting weight was for the challenge... :blush: I am doing this and Oprah's boot camp challenge and I am getting so confused... :confused3 I think I will figure I know what I weighed in Jan then subtract that challenge and subtract Feb challenge. :badpc:

Oh boy do I need to write everything down.... It is just a number you would think I could remember it ;) I will post when I figure this all out. :earboy2:

Soooo close, will do my last weigh in on the last day for the final weight check for this challange. The real challange will be the Easter celebration with two family dinners and all that chocholate that I gave up.

Hope everyone has had a good month. I have done the Jan., Feb. and March 5 pound challenge and it has been fun! I made goal each month, so I am thrilled.

I have forgotten to post all month long. I have been watching and weighing tho. I am down 4.2 as of this morning. 4.2/5 is not terrible. I will take it.

Sorry to have went MIA for a couple of weeks. Family and life happened, like it does for everyone. I can tell that I haven't been on the boards much because I haven't been losing. I don't feel that I have gained, but I know that I'm not losing like I can. I have also not been on the TM like I need to be. I will be back on there tomorrow morning.

I'll off to put in updates through the post right before mine and then I'll update at the end of tomorrow for those who will post their ending WI's.

Hooray! I made one last ditch weigh-in when I was at Curves today, and I was down another pound. So I finish at 4/5. So close!!! I'm really excited with my 4 pound loss.

I am giving my final weigh in... they weigh me once a month at the gym so I haven't checked in that often this challenge but I am pleased to say I have lost 5.5/5... yiipppeeee :goodvibes

Now I am off to DCL and WDW to gain some of it back :rotfl: :rotfl:

So I will be ready for our 5 for April when I get back.

Final weight loss since starting the challenge (late) is 2lbs.

But I really did lose 6 lbs total in March, just not all on the challenge, pretty good and I am proud! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Going to Vegas for a week was my downfall. Gained that week, so now I am back where I was before I left. That makes me only 1.5/5.

Told you all I was a slooooowww loser. Only 1.5 for the month. I'll take it and go on to the next challenge. This mo going to WDW. Will I lose from more walking or gain from more snacking?! I plan to split most every meal w DH. Tho I will have a few drinks and desserts. So on to an April challenge. Thanks all. :wave2:

Just had WI today so my final for this challenge is 10.6/5. I'm pretty pleased with this since I was expecting it to be much lower.

So, where's the April challenge?

I'm making final updates. I really do have to apologize for not keeping it updated better. Congrat's to everyone that lost. Remember even if you didn't meet your goal, you lost and that is something to cheer about. Good luck everyone in April.
