Also, if everyone could use the (total so far/goal) format, that would be great! Meaning, if you have done 200 minutes so far and your goal is 1000 minutes for the month, it would look like 200/1000. You can just add a post to this thread, no need to PM me, but it's your choice.
My buddie, Sunny, has designed a cute clippie for us. You can add it to your signature by adding this link (below). Just change the first and last {} to [] and you should be all set! It looks like this:
http://livinglively.com/clipart/MarchExChallenge.gif
{IMG]http://livinglively.com/clipart/MarchExChallenge.gif[/IMG}
Lastly, at your 1/2 way mark, I will change your color to royal blue. At goal, to yellowgreen. And, over goal, to magenta. So, come on WISHers exercise March away and bring April in fitter!
Happy Exercising! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Yikes! I didn't send you my totals on Friday. I've put it on my calendar from now on. I have 115 minutes added to my 65 minutes already listed for a total of 180 minutes for last week. (180/1000) Thank you!

I worked my butt off this weekend, I'm up to 275/1000! :)
:cheer2: :cheer2:
Plus I had a non-scale victory today. My jeans usually fit a lil snug around the waist after they've been washed, you know, when they're all stiff. Well it looks like the pilates and crunches have been paying off in inches if not in pounds because today they were LOOSE when i pulled them on after they had been washed! I know its a bit silly, but it made me feel great

I know its a bit silly, but it made me feel greatNot silly at all!! You SHOULD feel GREAT!!!! :cheer2: CONGRATS!!!! Did you measure when you started? You could measure now, and keep positive with inches lost, when the scale isn't budging. ;) I never measured anything, and I regretted it. :guilty:

So far not doing so well. I have TOM right now and have been so lazy not wanting to exercise. Was gonna go to gym last night but all my stretchie workout style pants were in washer. :guilty: I know not excuse but still.
I did walk for 90 minutes at mall so I will say 90/1000 so far this month. Gonna try to make it to the gym tonight though but I'll add that on next check in.
I have set this as my home page finally so I see it when I get on and don't sidetrack from my weight loss goals. I scheduled in my workouts and gonna get up early this week on 3 days to do dvds or walk outside. The other 2-3 days gonna go to gym. My trial membership ends 12th and I can't afford a membership right now so won't have access to gym after the 12th.

3/4 - 240 min total exercised

I have just done a mid-week update to the list, so I think I have everyone updated now. I'm going to just try and keep up a few times weekly.
Sounds like most of us are on the right track so far and there is plenty of time still (it's a long month ;) ) if you haven't started yet.
Exercise is the key, I can tell you from personal experience. Also, some of my best workouts are on the days that I REALLY don't feel like working out, those should count double IMHO. :teeth:
So, WISHers, keep up the tremendous work! We'll get there together!
(BTW, has anyone found spring yet? We're supposed to have snow again today! ARGH! :cold: I bet it's beautiful anywhere south of here...right? Like WDW! I'd love to be in a pool soaking up the sun right now... :sunny: )
Happy Tuesday! :flower: :flower:

QUESTION OF THE MOMENT - Going to WDW for 4 days next week. With all the walking that goes on there how do I count that? Not sure.
You know everyone does this differently. I just said 30 minutes a day, but we also swam 4 times during our trip and walked everywhere we could, instead of busing or boating, etc. Some folks actually log in all of their walking time, I just wasn't that organized and I knew that I had done 30 minutes of brisk walking each and everyday, so I figured that would be fair. BTW, I ended up losing 5.5 lbs at WDW in January, so very, very cool!
Have a great vacation...wish I were going too... still hoping for our trip in Sept, but we're not sure that will happen yet. Have fun, fun, fun! (hey, give Tigger and Goofy a big hug for me, ok?) :teeth:

As of Friday (3/11), I'm at 430/1000! I leave for vacation on Sunday, so I might not get as much done next week, so I'm glad I pushed this week! Let's hope drinking some beer on the beach doesn't do too much damage ;)

As of Friday 3/11 I am at 910/2000 min.
I ahven't felt well this week, so I missed 2 days of exercise. I still have 3 more days till the 14th though, which is the end of the 2nd full week. I have my work cut out for me to stay on track, but I know I can do it! I hope it's not as windy as it has been the past few days. I want to get back on my bike because I can go for longer on it than I can walking since it's low impact.

 WooHoo, everyone's just MOVING along!
Ok, so it's not Monday, but I'm posting my total anyway. ;) After taking Sat & Sun off, I exercised Mon, Wed & Thurs for 132 minutes, taking me to 273/500. Over the 1/2 way mark for me. :sunny:
May I say, that although I'm on maintenance, I NEED these challenges to reach even the minimal goal I set, but can I add that I GOT to maintenance by doing the 1,000 min challenges along the way? ;) Yep! WISH has been EVERYTHING for me along this journey, and along with my new way of eating, WISH is a daily ritual as well! :grouphug: Thank you ALL!!! :cloud9:

KimRaye...I so totally agree with your statement about these challenges making all the difference in the journey. That is why when I didn't see one posted for March, I decided to bite the bullet.
The challenges keep me motivated when I have no self-motivation. I just think, well I just have to do it. Ironically, some of my best workouts occur when I feel the least like doing it.
Occassionally, I take a real day off, but most of the days each week, I do my minimum of 30 minutes on bike. If I feel up to it, I will do 20 minutes of pilates after or 15 minutes of Bowflex after biking. I'm trying to make pilates and Bowflex more of a habit, but if I just do the biking alone, I still feel great!
Just thought I'd add my 2 cents! Hope everyone is enjoying the challenge as well! :sunny:
BTW, 3 of us have made the 50% mark already, they are: plutosmyfav, Disneyglobegirl, and KimRaye! Way to go!

I forgot to check in last week, but I have been getting my minutes in. I'm 418/1100.
I agree 100% about these challenges helping with motivation. I'm also in maintenance and I know I have to keep exercising to maintain my weight. Setting a goal for the month and having to be accountable helps me stay motivated.

I have been steadily exercising, but I am needing to start pushing myself a little more. I am 540/1000 for the month so far. I am going to talk to DH about us getting out and walking together in the afternoon's. I would like to walk outside, but there isn't really a good place to go alone and I don't have anyone else around that is interested in walking together. Going to drive a couple of routes this weekend and see what we can come up with.
Way to go everyone for all the hard work so far this month. Keep it up.
