Can I do it. :confused3
You can bet I will :cheer2:
I am starting tomorrow morning with my exercise, walking and watching what I eat. That's it.  No special diet, no plan that I know I can't live with just the basic move more and eat less. :o Sounds pretty simple I know but it has worked for me in the past so I am hoping I can do it again. I am currently at 190 and hope to be 140 by the time we leave. With the weight I am now my heals are always hurting after the second day....that isn't happening this time :dancer:
I really am not trying to make this sound easier then it is because I know it will be hard but with lots of support from my friends and family I will do this :grouphug: . I am going to check in daily and hope you all stop by to say HI :wave2: .

Yes you can do it if you set your mind to it and it sounds like you have. I have around 50 pounds to lose too and would like to have it off before our November 28th trip to the World. Glad you posted, I am now inspired this morning.

Hi TammyNC
Thank you for posting. I feel good about this, I need to get a healthier lifestyle for myself and my family. I have 2 very good friends fighting cancer and have realized you only get one go around on this earth and I want to live it to the fullest.
I see that you are part of many challenges, I am postive you will get to your goal as well.
Have a great day

Hooray ... another Canadian WISH'er !! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Sounds like you know what you want, and how to get it! Let me just add in one little piece of advice ... make sure you drink lots of water if you don't already. Rule of thumb ... take your weight, divide by 2, and that is how many ounces of water you should be consuming.

Hey Hockeychic,
I think we are going to be at WDW at the same time, and I would like to lose the same amount as you (although I have more to go after that). Maybe we can check in on each other!
Have a great day!

Oops Guess I was wrong on the dates, we are getting there on November 6. I am doing WW, but hey, we can still check up on each other! (I started on January 26) WW is working well for me, and my DH is doing it as well. It helps to have someone to partner with. Hope you enjoy your stay. We are staying at Shades of Green and then cruising on the Wonder... can't wait!

Good Morning.
WW is a great program, I think it is one of the proven plans out there. I am doing OK, I will admit I didn't get alot of exercise in yesterday, daughter was home sick so I took the opportunity to wash curtains, clean ceiling fans...etc
How much have you lost?? I have lost 11 so far, still so far to go. Well better get ready for work, have a great day

Hockeychic ... our Oct trip overlaps with yours by a couple of days. We arrive Oct 16th and check out on Friday Oct 28th. We're booked into SSR right now, but I think we're switching it to OKW and BCV. Susan-Ontario and her family will be there with us. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
You've just inspired me to get cracking and lose some more weight before our trip. I just haven't had the motivation lately, and my addiction to Cadbury Easter Creme Eggs has been terrible. And I know, just DON'T BUY THEM ... but it truly is an addiction and I cannot help myself. I'll be so glad when they just aren't on every counter of every store I go into.
Feel free to PM me occasionally to kick my butt into gear! I did work really hard at Curves last night so I guess that's an OK start to the week. And maybe if I hadn't had that creme egg as a reward afterwards ....
Keep me posted on how you're doing.

I am down 18lbs since I started (but I have a LOT to lose) and that is with going off plan for one meal every week (didn't intend too, but life happens). I don't think I will have a meeting today (10" of snow here) but I checked my scale, and it is pretty close to WW's. Dh's first weigh in will be tomorrow. My goal for November is to weigh less than I did on our last trip. I can do this!

Can I chime in with I'm another one going to the World in October (Oct. 14th to be exact) and am on WW with a significant amount I'd like to lose (50-70 lbs) by our trip. Let's definitely check in from time to time! :cool1:

HeatherPage....welcome....the more the merrier. Any challenge is easier when you have the support of friends.
Ottosdoll, 18 lbs...great for you that is amazing. Keep up the great work at that rate you will exceed 50 pds by vacation time.
Maryliz, thank you. Great work at Curves!!!!, as for the Cadbury Creme Eggs I say if you want one go for it, my problem usually is I don't know when to stop but just. Sometimes the more I tell myself I can't have it the more I want it so my new resolve is just have a little. Check in with us we have a great little group starting here all with similar goals.
Well everyone I am doing good, daughter still sick so hard to get exercise in right now cause I am playing nurse and trying to work and get house stuff done and DH is working a few 14 hour days right now so.....ughhhhh but eating we are doing good.
Everyone keep up the great work and keep in touch.
