Im watching a few 1 day hopper tickets on Ebay. I thought I would try this before I broke down and bought AP. Money is tight since our move, but I really want to take a day trip. Has anyone bought tickets from ebay and had problems or sucesses? I would like to hear both sides.
Thanks

I have bought Universal tickets twice and Disney meal vouchers on Ebay and never had a problem. The important thing is to check the sellers feedback. I wouldnt buy anything from anyone with less than 97% feedback. Also check to see if the seller has sold other tickets before and see the individual feedback comments on these transactions. I also prefer to buy from people who use paypal. Also even though I dont always insure items I buy or sell I would insist on buying insurance for tickets. If the seller says they dont offer insurance run away as fast as you can.

I wouldn't buy tickets since you have no way of knowing if there are REALLY any days left.
Make sure that the tickets they are selling were purchased before the new MYW tickets were implemented. Those are not transferrable (they are linked to you and you can be asked for ID)

I just bought a 2-day PH Plus pass off of Ebay. The guy had a 98% positive feedback rating and I got the pass a couple days ago. True I don't "really" know what is on it, but he had a great rating and several others had bought tickets from him and left positive feedback. We will be buying more from him.

We have been very lucky so far thank goodness and I agree to make sure the seller has a good feedback percentage and a decent amount of it. 100% feedback but only 20 transactions isnt good enough for me.
Also an fyi..tickets cannot be insured so those that dont offer it are actually doing the right thing. The post office would not pay out a claim if needed so you would be out insurance money..if you are really concerned then have them sent overnight or registered/certifed (not sure which one) mail.

I thought I might pick up a few of these if the price was right since we only want one or two days at WDW in the Fall. The eBay prices are going higher per day than if I just bought one of the new MYW 10 day passes. I guess that would make sense if you didn't want to tie up your money in the longer passes, but I don't think it's worth taking a chance to me.
