What was your room rate for this February?

I'm trying to get an idea of what people have paid this year for any of the onsite Universal hotels. Looking ahead to going to Universal next February. Just back from 10 day Disney trip and ready to skip Disney next year.

I have Entertainment card, AAA and Fan club. So what did you pay? Please list hotel, type of room and rate. Thanks!!

Royal Pacific - $233.10 AAA rate for three adults (our son is 18). Because I'm Loews Gold, I paid a standard view room rate, but was upgraded on the phone to a waterview room. Then, when we checked in, we were upgraded again to a King Suite.

We were there on February 15 and 16th.

RPR, 207 thru Hotelkingdom.com, 2/21-2/25 standard room w/2 queen beds

We paid $194.00 for a standard at HRH from Feb. 5 - 8. It was an internet special on the Loews Website.

Paid MUCH less for RPR the year before through Hotelkingdom - but there were no better deals using them this time, so I did it myself!

RPR $159, AAA rate, Feb. 5-9

2/13 to 2/16/05: Originally booked AAA rate, approximately $270/night
Switched to APH rate early January $139/night, with
offer of "1 additional night free", unfortunately had to
decline.
FAN rate was slightly higher than AAA as I recall.

The key appears to be, the earlier you book-the better the rate deal.
