WDW 2 disc Official Album

I read that WDW will being releasing a 2 disc official album this year... I know that the standards (HM, SM, IASW) will be one there and (more than likely) the new attractions (Stitch, Soaring, Motors).

Anyone want to guess or hope what might be included?

I'm hoping that the seasonal parties like MNSSHP and MVMCP are added.

I own the old Epcot CD and I hope they'll include the newer version of "A Little Spark"(?) and the Main Street version of "The Trolley Song".

My friend bought me the current parks album and the Trolley Song is the inferior version of the one I heard from my friend's trip video (they went there past October '04). Also from their video, "A Little Spark"(?) is very different than the one on my old Epcot CD.

My understanding is (and I could have this wrong) that the 6cd set will be sold not only at the parks, but wherever cd boxed sets are sold. We'll see what happens. :earsboy:

I don't believe it is coming out until May. I'm still hearing that the boxed set will be available wherever boxed sets are sold. If your friend doesn't pick it up at the parks, you'll probably be able to get it at Best Buy. Let's hope the rumors of the retail availability are true.

Another rumor is that the the version sold only at DLR will include a colored vinyl album along with the 6 CDs. :earsboy:

Its sold out at disney direct, but there will be a "special edition" of it later. Exact same product, but it wont be numbered and the LP will be black, not gold. It should appear soon after the parks sell out their supply of the limited edition, which they will begin selling next week

I arrive at WDW on 5/12 and if this CD is released, I'll let you know ASAP....

Kinda remember OA's being released later in the year @ WDW .... However, since there will a new theme song called "Remember When" (and a possible single) by Leigh Ann Ryhmes (sp?), it is realistic to think that it may be released sooner than later (which I hope for).

My 6-CD set arrived yesterday. Haven't had a chance to play the music yet. Except for some minor things, so far I'm quite pleased with it. The book did turn out to be yellow per the written description.

Don't get me wrong ... I like the fact that WDW has just released a retro two disc OA CD for the celebration.... But... what about the new stuff ?

Stitch, Motours stunt show, Philharmagic, Soaring and Buzz .... Plus stuff that has never been released .... I'm grateful but I wanted more.

On a positive note, I read the next WDW OA's will be 2 disc sets and new stuff .... I just wanted it sooner ... can you dig it!

We returned home yesterday from a 4 day cruise and two at the parks (boy, it's amazing how much cash you can spend when you find stuff you love).

New Cds available ... WDW 2 cd set, Cinderellabration Stage Show, DL 50th cd (single disc, national release-found online and in stores)... Wishes-Make a Wish foundation (not the fireworks show but "Superstar Artist perform Disney Classics" and Disney donates five dollars to Make A Wish) and the 6 six cd set w/ gold LP (I found it at the Disney Gallery Store in Epcot - the store w/ the high end art stuff). Plus all the other cds (FOTLK, AK, Wishes, Magic in the Streets).

Also, all four of the park (MK,AK,Studios & Epcot) DVDs are available as well.
DW watched me purchase all this and more.... then told me not to say a word when she wanted to shop ... who am I to agrue with smarts and beauty.

I really do not know when ... just a rumor I read. However, this new release could be around for the entire celebration or they may release a new updated version (I hope!) containing the new attraction sounds. The "Where Magic Lives" OA (blue 2003 & black 2004 covers) did that same thing but they about a year apart.

Have not opened the new DVDs yet but I think only the cover art has changed not the content... we can only hope they changed the content as well. I'll let you know when I finally get around to opening them.
