Ok, here I go with another attempt at weight loss. For anyone reading this, I will tell a bit about myself. I'm 24. 5'5" and 230lbs. Not my biggest, yet still depressing. I was going though some pictures of my DW vacay last year and I looked awful. I had trouble walking for long pierods of time, and had felt just a bit uncomftorable on some of the rides. My FI and I are going back in April of 2006 and I do not want to feel like that again! I decided to lose 70 lbs, 5 month for a vacay goal of 160lbs. Then I am going to back to the exact smae location that some of the old pics were taken, and retake them with my new body. I'm glad everyone is here giving support! Thank you so much!

Good luck with everything!! What a great goal to set!! I will stop in and check on you every once and a while ;)

Thanks for the encourgament!

So far, nothing lost yet. But I am just begining to change all of my habits. No more regular pop, more fiber......its kinda fun going grocery shopping now, looking at all of the labels!
I went out and bought a new scale too......I think I scared it the first time I stepped on it. lol. Write more when I can get to the puters.

Well, Here I am on 10 days and still almost nothing. It's getting a litte discouraging, but I know I will do just fine. thinking about writing in my journal makes me want to push harder when I'm walking or doing some other excersize. I want to write lots of good stuff here.

ok, now its been 18 days. still almost nothing. one day i'll wiegh myslef and have lost 2 lbs, 2 days later, i'll have gained 4. Everyone says my scale is broken. i hope so. I'm going to increase my walking by 10 mins this week.
