I love reading trip reports, but I do not like to read them until the entire report is posted. It is very hard sometimes to find the parts of a trip report. I sure wish someone or the DIS would create a webpage somewhere that would have a list of trip reports and links to all it's various parts. Plus it would be neat if you could sort it by date, resort where they stayed, age of people, etc. Has anyone ever seen a website like this? I used to go to Brian Bennet's website, but it always seems to be so far behind. Plus they don't seem to get as many reports as they used to.

sometimes posters can't finish their reports all in one week .....and some just write small posts and do it day to day on one post..But we have found that alot of readers do not have time to read all the reports in one sitting and therefore may not respond to the entire trip report...where they may respond to day one or day two.. I have read some of the reports and had to stop because I do not have enough time to read them all.....just gives us all encouragement when someone responds and asks questions as we go

off to neverland has put links to each of her wonderful reports when she updates and it has been so helpful. She has the entire list from her first report to the current one. Maybe each poster would consider doing that to make it easier to keep up. It wouldn't be a hard thing to do at all...just a thought/suggestion. :)

I'm another one who hates to hunt for parts of a story - there's gotta be a better way!

I like when each part is on one thread so I don't have to hunt down parts. BUT it's hard to know if there is a new part to it. Yes, I agree that there has to be a better way.

Looks like this is something we might have to start ourselves. Maybe we can ask every writer to post here and include all of their links when they post a report?
It's a great idea though and the exact reason I started the "Favorite Trip Reports Thread". I was tired of "hunting" for reports and wanted to make my life easier for myself. Yes, very Type Y personality. ;)
I'll start with mine, which has all the posts at the bottom of the first page:
We came, we boozed, and although a little drunk, we conquered Disney World! (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=662939)
Here are my favorites:

And the link that Hambone posted (particularly love BobNC's :wave2: ):

Maybe you can change the title of this post to something that will attract writers in??

I so agree!!
This is all I do on my lunch hour so I really don't have time to keep searching, and there are some that I really liked and then after 2 installments they're gone. I like that Valentine is going to keep hers all on one thread.

What's nice when a trip report is all in one thread, I'll post a response and then I'll check my e-mail for any new reply's and know when the trip report is continued. That is so easy for me to keep track of the ones I'm reading and know when it is being continued !!! Hopefully, that is how I will do mine in 2 1/2 months !!!
