Looking for hotel near S/W and DC

We are going to DC and S/W for a couple of days prior to a WDW land/sea cruise vacation. We have WDW resort reservations as part of the package but need a place to stay for the DC and S/W days. Something with a good pool would be nice for our 9 y/o.

Have only stayed on Disney property before so we are unfamiliar with the general Orlando area.

Any suggestions.

If you are looking for something inexpensive, definitely go for the Hilton Garden Inn.. it is directly across the parking lot from Sea World... they have a small (but nice) pool, and the hotel is immaculate, AND cheap.
