Some of the stars lined up are Edith Bowman (Radio 1 DJ), Kim Metclaf (Sam from Eastenders), Jon Culshaw (comedien)and Jenny Eclair (writer).

If you're waiting to see them on Comic Relief night you won't be disappointed. I was crying with laughter through the Elton John interview and Robbie makes a fine looking "laydee"

That sounds like one of those programs where I'll resolve not to watch any of this garbage, and 'somehow' catch every single episode :rolleyes:

I just cannot get into Little Britain at all. I know it's the most popular comedy in the country at the moment but it just leaves me cold - friends did as well when everyone was raving about that. I must have an obscure sense of humour!

Well I'm a big 'Reality TV' freak, so I am really looking forward to Comic Relief Fame Academy, the line-up looks good too. I love Little Britiain too and can't wait to see Robbie Williams, I think George Michael is in it too in an Andy & Lou scene and a 'I don't like George Michael' quote - Brilliant !!!

I didn't know you could get a Comic Relief Little Britain DVD - so I'll have to get that.

Saw this last night and will probably now watch every second of the series! :rolleyes: I really, really hoped Jennie Eclair would go - I'm not sure I can take much more of her 'singing'! :guilty:

I can't stand this programme either :confused3 , but I'm told by my b-i-l that my nephew (age 10) features on the Comic Relief DVD. My nephew (and my neice, age 8) did a couple of days shooting for the series back last summer - the part in the programme where they show a summer fete, I think. Nephew is dressed as a cub scout and I remember him telling me he was 'vomited' on! :rolleyes:

The daughter of friends of ours is the producer for all the Comic Relief filming in Africa, but I'm not anticipating any inside news from her!

I thought that Konnie was the worst tonight. She looked so uncomfy on the stage too. Shes not enjoying the performing infront of so many people live.

people underestimate just how scary it must be to stand on live tv and sing! I am a professional singer.. and I wouldnt do it for love or money..

I really felt for Konnie, she was awful! Although, too be honest my kids often tell me off for singing in the car! Unfortunately my mobile has a habit of unlocking itself and usually some poor soul ends up answering their phone to hear me screaching in the car!!! :scared1:

I've got into this now totally. I like Edith and Ade. Dawn is good but I think the judges hear something I can't, I thought she was a bit dodgy tonight.

Konnie is dreadful!

I thought kim and dawn did ok lastnight not as good as wednesday. I'm glad konnie was the one to go. She was dreadful and the faces and hair what was that about. I thought Ade was the best last night :cheer2:

I thought Edith was fantastic last night, but my vote didn't go to her! :rolleyes:

I vote for the ones I like, not the ones I think give the best performance - is that what most of you do? Or am I messing up the voting?!! :confused3

I can't believe anyone really thinks Reggie is the best, so I guess he must be getting 'fan' votes regardless of how well he does, so that makes me think I'm not the only one who doesn't vote on performance alone! :rolleyes1

The judges seem to love Gina - I must confess I think her performance skills are great but I feel her singing leaves a little to be desired.... :rolleyes:

The last three have got to sing again, it's Reggie, Nicola and Gina. Nicola did really well, the judges will save her.

So it'll be between Gina and Reggie. Surely Reggie has to go, he's clueless! :confused3

Edit to add : Nicola saved by judges, Reggie saved by students.....

Last night I thought Gina was the better performer of her and Reggie. I totally agree she couldn't really sing but she had a song that suited her well and didn't require a good singing voice (IMHO)

Reggie on the other hand set my teeth on edge last night - he was extremely flat and you couldn't get away with that with the song he did!!!

I must be the only one to think this though or Gina would've been saved :rolleyes:

I agree, Lagunn, I thought Edith was okay, Kim was good, but the rest were nothing special. I reckon the bottom three might be Reggie, Nicola and Dawn. No idea who'll go, should be Reggie but they keep saving him :confused3

Should be a good final tonight with the 3 remaining stars, even though Kim is the best singer by far I really really really want Ade to win because he is so funny and comes across as a really nice person, plus it is for COMIC RELIEF after all and like Kim said last night he is the only one that keeps reminding everyone why they are there, so i will definately be giving my vote to Ade :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

What i would like to see though is the judges (Richard and orange man) being put through their paces and see what it's like to put yourself out the way everyone has and then get slated for it, I think them two especially have forgotten that it's all being done for CHARITY!!

Looking forward to the whole show though tonight, i've promised by 2 DS that when i get home from work i will do face paintings for them and i will probably be mad enough to put some on myself :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

I have to say I am bit disappointed with the final result.. I think Kim should have won.

Edith has done well.. but not as consistently well as Kim imho...

Mind you KIm sings all the stuff that I like doing.. so maybe thats why I liked her!!!

I agree Sammie. I was a little disappointed that Edith won. I also thought that Kim was consistent over the whole program. Oh well, as least they raised over a million for Comic Relief.

Ill stick up for Edith! I'm glad she won; like Richard Park and Orange man have said, she always makes the songs sound like SHE was the original artist- a very unique voice.

Another Edith supporter here. Although Kim had a great voice she did tend to sing in the style of well known artists. Edith made the songs sound more unique and more like she owned them.
