I want to thank each of you for all your support! (new clippie post)

I would not be at this point in my weight loss journey without the support, encouragement, praise and occasional butt kicking I get from all my WISH friends. The "experts" say that support during weight loss is key to being successful and I definitely agree.

I debated about whether I wanted to mention individuals by name or not but there have been some WISHers that have gone above and beyond in helping me or giving me extra needed encouragement. I don't want to forget anyone so please do not be offended if I don't list you individually (either by screen name or real life name) but I want to give special thanks and hugs to: Melanie, Sheree, Kim, Tara, Good Ol Gal, Doe, Tracy, Jerry, Shelia, Minniepal and panfan. Thanks to the Firmies and all my South Beach buddies on our thread. I would also like to thank you if you ever joined one of my silly challenges, read my journal or sent me a pm to keep going when I was experiencing rough times.

Losing these 100 pounds over the past 14-1/2 months has been so many things, a struggle, a triumph, scary, exhilerating and so many other emotions that it's hard to say right now. Through it all, you guys have been a part of the journey.

If you are just starting out on WISH and have a lot of weight to lose, believe in yourself. You can do it! I am living proof that it can be done. Come here for support, don't give in to the negative feelings that can surface, revel in each pound lost and don't get overly discouraged when the scale doesn't cooperate.

Okay, I guess that's enough for now. Please everyone know that I consider my brand new beautiful 100 pound clippie a group effort and I think each of you are so awesome!!! :grouphug: Now on to losing these last 28.5 pounds. Onward and downward!!! :Pinkbounc :banana:

Lisa!!!! I get sooo many chills thinking of you and that clippie!!! YOU have worked YOUR BUTT OFF!!! And in 14.5 months!!! That is amazing...I wish you would share some of your lessons learned over these past 14 months for all the ladies/gents searching for pointers....you are such an inspiration and all those battles/challenges/successes you've had over the past year can now pay off for others...thanks for continuing to come to WISH and share your experiences and encourage others...that clippie ALONE will make someone feel that they can do it!

I was very emotional when reading your post .....It is amazing how wonderful an experience can be found by just "logging onto your computer" !! You are sending positive energy and encouragement to all who read about you! You are a true example that "IT CAN BE DONE!" With some hard work and a lot of determination. We all know that there are no "quick fixes". You need to eat less and excercise more....and the weight will come off. It's like ....we all really know what we have to do....we just have to do it! Well ....you ARE doing it! 100 lbs ....Wow! This is really a big thing!!! I am just so happy for you! :flower:

If you ever feel "in a slump" or need extra incentive....now you can log onto WISH and admire your new clippie!!!!! What an accomplishment!!!
